Speaking of College,
I need to make a decision between Assumption College in Worcester or Boston University like... now.

Haha, hi, guys. I'm Tyshia. =D
I'm 18, I'm in my last year of high school and planning on going to college for psychology. I volunteer at Planned Parenthood, and I'm considering (with my intended psychology degree) becoming a counselor at a family planning center such as PP.
I'm pretty morbid, and I have a pretty messed up sense of humor. I'm a musician and I love to write. I'm heavy into industrial and metal music. I'm also an intense gamer. My favorite games are Dead Rising, RE4, Condemned, and God of War.
Sometimes I can sound like a meany when I'm debating, so I hope being in the PLG can help me to tone it down more. And help me make more pro-life friends. 3nodding

I like your choice in games, though I haven't gotten to play Dead Rising yet. I know that spending time in this Guild (back in the day, now, when it was Open for a bit - then as a member - then as Mod here) has made me into less of a "meany" while debating. Not that I don't speak my mind, just that I make more effort to be polite (which helps for the not getting reported for flaming) and that I try to refrain from posting when I'm angry. I love having new people in here! Remember that, as a Pro-Choicer, you can't post outside of the SubForum. If you want to reply to a post from the Main Guild Forum, feel free to do so in the SubForum (that's what I do). Oh, and make sure to look over all the rules and stuff. Did you have to do that to join? (I forget)

And yeah, I had to read the rules to join. To reply to a post in the main forum, should I just make a new thread?
Thanks for the warm welcome! whee

Thanks for the warm welcome! whee Yeah, make a new thread unless there is already a thread here about it. If you want to reply to a bunch of similar topics, you can post them all in one thread. Can I ask where you heard about this SubForum?

Can I ask where you heard about this SubForum? I actually was thinking about joining the PLG back when pro-choicers were let in the main forum, but when I went to fill out a join request I saw that they'd just banned the pro-choicers.
I just found out that pro-choicers were allowed again a few days ago. So here I am. biggrin

Hi, people! I'm 17, a senior in high school, and very much pro-life. Before I was born, my aunt wanted my mom to abort me and my mom wanted to put me up for adoption...I ended up with my grandparents instead of either one. Thankfully, my aunt wanted me more than my mom did after I was born, so I'm pretty much set for life thanks to her. She's paying for my college, which i'm crossing my fingers will be Hendrix! I really wish I could major in movie editing, but sadly I live in Arkansas where movies aren't a big deal at all, so I have to go with Digital Film making instead. I'm really nice, but I get mad easy, so if i start cussing in a debate, you can tell me to stop it lol. my favorite colors: silver, blue, red, and black *I found it funny that the song i'm listening to said "my favorite colors" at the same time I typed it. ha.* my favorite book series: Twilight my current top 3 favorite bands: The Academy Is..., The Rocket Summer, and Fall Out Boy.
k I can't think of anything else...now you know who I am. 3nodding heart

innocence_of_evil and very much pro-choice. Don't you mean "Pro- Life"? I edited it for her, since she told me in a PM that she was Pro-Life, after she joined. Hope that's okay.

Do you like cheese? *grin* You could tell about yourself, if you liked. Or just lurk around in the threads. Remember not to post outside of the SubForum, if you do read the Main Forum (as I sometimes do) and want to respond to something, make a new thread in here ("Re:Topic of Thread Responding To" seems to work pretty well)!

Thanks! biggrin WatersMoon110 I like cheese. Do you like cheese? *grin* Cheese is the awesomezors. eek WatersMoon110 You could tell about yourself, if you liked. Well, I'm not entirely sure what to say but I'll try. ninja I'm 22 years old (soon to be 23!). I'm senior at a University. I'm majoring in philosophy. I'm a feminist, for gay rights, liberal, atheist/agnostic/something. I'm ok with people disagreeing with me on practically everything as long as they are ok with me disagreeing with them. I'm a big fan of non-violence, although I'm still trying to figure out where I want to draw the line on when violence is acceptable. I have PTSD and an anxiety disorder (yes, PTSD is an anxiety disorder, but apparently I have more than one). I took too many credits this semester, and thus I'm so busy that it hurts. I plan to post in this subforum eventually, although I'm not sure when I'll work up the energy.
That's all I can think of right now.WatersMoon110 Or just lurk around in the threads. Good luck with all those credits. I've just finished my homework so I just have another week of classes (with a test) and then a final. Breaks are good!

Hello and welcome! i'm agnostic as well. Usually i'm too lazy to welcome people but I probly should make more of an effort to welcome new people.
I hope you enjoy it here. We may debate at times but we all usually get along (most of time) here. If you (or anyone else) have questions, feel free to ask as well.
Yah I know how stressful school can be (i'm taking two classes myself at the moment).

Hello, Im Veolin
Im 21, married and curently expecting. I started on gaia at the beginning of '05 as pro-life and over time of being an active discussioner in abortion topics, I have since become pro-choice.
Im pretty open minded and love talking with people on different aspects of a subject. Im also oneof those people who's a**l about being told Im out right wrong in my opinions on something (abortion or not) but Im generally kicked back.
I love music, vidiogames, and all that jazz and Im also an advid reader of Urban fantasy.
