Kagumi lunged for the opening Faith’s distraction had created. Her jaws clamped easily around the strong neck of the Werewolf and she pinned him to the floor on his stomach. Prongs and Padfoot burst into the room, slightly panting to see Moony pressed against the wall by Kagumi and Faith’s husky form on the floor, a small stream of blood dribbling from a cut on her head. Sirius growled and started to run forward, but James cut him off with sharp antlers.
Sirius ignored him and carefully began dragging Faith’s body away. Something dripping on his snout broke the concern for Faith. Blood was dripping from the large, deep wound on Kagumi’s neck. Her paws were shaking and yet she still stood there with Moony pinned to the ground, refusing to move. Her eyes flicked upwards and Sirius knew that it was okay to get Faith out of there.
Remus started to move, but Kagumi’s jaws just tightened. Her canines were very close to piercing the skin and she tried to refrain from doing anything to provoke him anymore. Once Faith was safe behind Prongs, she lightened up her grip on his neck. She stood there, occasionally scuffling with Moony to maintain her dominance, for what seemed like hours.
Faith began to stir and whimpered in pain at the fading moonlight.
Faith stirred, her canine eyes slowly opening as the last strands of moonlight fell over the mountains. She slowly shook her head, trying to discern the different noises that were swamping her head. Whispered arguments, whimpers...crying...
Faith instantly sat up, her head spinning. She ignored it as her eyes fell on the now human Remus as he held Kagumi in his arms. They were covered in blood...
Faith: Oh Merlin...
She struggled over towards them, not accepting any help from the others as she drew her wand. She tried healing spell after healing spell on them both, her body and mind straining to keep up the magic needed to help her friends. Kagumi's eyes blinked slowly, a groan of pain falling past her lips. Her neck had stopped bleeding...now barely a scar was shown.
Faith: Oh thank Merlin...
She collapsed to the ground beside them, panting for breath. Sirius rushed over as James and Peter left to get help. Faith strained for breath, clutching her chest. Not now...not now...not now...
Sirius: Faith! Merlin...what's going on... Faith:...asthma...can't...breathe...too...much...strain...
“Faith!” Kagumi screamed. “Faith!” She darted from Remus’s grip as easily as she had outpaced him the night before. She caught the falling Faith in her arms and held onto her for dear life. “You don’t do this to me, Faith! I mean it, you relax!” She searched for her wand, barely remembering that she had put it on her bed. “No, dammit!”

She whirled around to face the Marauders. “Does anyone have a wand?!” They all shook their heads. “NO! James, turn into Prongs! NOW!” Wondering why, he did so. Kagumi loaded the gasping Faith onto his back and told them all to run down to Hogsmeade, that she, Faith and James would meet them there. Without further words, she kicked open the battered door, leapt onto James’ back and nudged his ribs with her heels.
Racing through the cold wind, they got to the edge of town and saw passerby staring. Kagumi jumped off with lithe grace and ran up to the nearest one. “Give me your wand,” she panted.
“No!”
She slapped the guy across the face and picked him up to face Faith. “If you want her to die, walk away. If you don’t, Hand. Over. Your. Wand. NOW!” He handed her the wand and backed away. Kagumi ran up to Faith, who had fallen into the slush on the street. She pointed the wand at Faith’s throat. “Anapneo! Anapneo!”
Faith’s face flushed as her airway began to clear. She struggled to sit up and threw herself into Kagumi’s arms, both of them crying with exhaustion. It was only when they looked up to hand the boy back his wand that they realized it was none other than Lucius Malfoy.
Faith blinks tiredly, her mind fuzzy from not being able to breathe. She stares up at Malfoy before asking:
Faith: Weren't you being stalked just a little while ago?
Kagumi and Malfoy stare at each other then at Faith, who has fallen asleep in Kagumi's arms.
Faith:...fluffy dog...good dog...Malfoy in a skirt...zzzzzzzzz
Lucius blinks at the sleeping girl then at Kagumi.
Lucius: You have...a very strange friend...
Kagumi: You’re telling me. Here’s your wand. You should go on so that I can get her to the castle.
Malfoy shrugs his shoulders and walks into the nearest pub as Remus, Sirius and Peter all finally caught up. Kagumi didn’t notice that her cloak, which had somehow been in the Shrieking Shack was dragging in the dirty mud-slush mix on the road. Sirius bent down.
Sirius: Is she?
Kagumi nodded weakly. “Yeah…she’s fine. But we have to get her back up to the Hospital Wing. It might not last.”
Kagumi: Where'd we get all these cloaks, anyway?
Remus: I keep a stash of them in the Shack in case someone forgot to bring a bag with clothes in it.

James went behind a bush and changed back into human, being handed a cloak by a shaking Remus. Since all they had on were cloaks, they decided to huddle together while walking back to the Shrieking Shack. Peter transformed back into a rat and rode on James’s shoulder. He went through the tunnel first to stop the Willow from moving. After they had all gotten through the branches and were a safe distance away, they all broke into a run, clutching cloaks around them…well, except for Sirius. His cloak kept falling open until he just tied it around his waist. He picked Faith up again and they ran as fast as they could to get back to the Common Room.
Getting inside just barely, the boys and Kagumi, who was now carrying Faith, spilt up to dress on their own. Kagumi set Faith down on her bed and threw some clothes for her on the bed next to her. Then Kagumi herself flopped backwards on her bed for a bit of a nap after getting dressed in robes.

Faith woke up slowly, her head and chest aching. She blinked tiredly and rubbed her eyes, only to jump in surprise when she saw Sirius' face right in front of her.
"How did you get in here?" she asked, clutching the blanket to her chest. She was dressed only in her nightgown, which consisted of a spagetti strap red tank top and gold japanese pants with red blossoms flowing up the sides. Her black hair, normally pulled up in a high ponytail, was trailing past her shoulders in unruly waves.
Sirius smiled and stared at her, the look in his eyes causing her to blush brightly.
"Kagumi let me in," he answered as he sat down beside her. Faith cursed her roomate under her breath, but stopped when she heard his husky laugh.
"I was worried you know," he whispered. He fell forward slightly, his forehead leaning on her shoulder.
"I didn't mean to..."
"I know...but why would you two be out there in the first place?"
"We-"
"That's what I would like to know as well Ms. Angel, for both of you," a voice said from behind them. Faith's eyes widened as Sirius swiveled about, fear already settling in the pit of his stomach. They had been caught...by Dumbledore...

At that precise moment, Kagumi (who had woken up a few minutes beforehand and gone to take a relaxing shower) walked in, with only a short towel on. “Faith, where my new bottle of shampoo? Did you or Lily use it?” With her long hair flipped over her face, Kagumi could only see the hems of the robes; but even then, she knew something was wrong. While still standing by the door, she lifted her hair to see her Elderly Headmaster standing in her bedroom.
“AIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!” she screamed and jumped behind the still-open door. “PROFESSOR! What are you doing in here?!”
He steepled his fingers and sat down on an empty bed. “I’m wondering several things. Firstly, how two of my best students can transform into animals. Secondly, what those said animals were doing roaming the grounds on the night of a werewolf transformation. Thirdly, how you could dare think of taking on a werewolf. And lastly, how you defeated him with only a simple scar.”

Faith looked at Kagumi and smiled. So they were his best students huh?
"Do not look so pleased Ms. Angel. I would like it if you answered me."
"Headmaster-"
"I learned at an early age how to transform sir. I had too...for reasons I am not going to say...but tonight...it was Remus sir!"
Dumbledore's eyebrows rose to his hairline as he sneaked a peak at Sirius, who hung his head.
"And you know about this how?"
*God Complex Over Kagumi, for just a second*
"We're not complete idiots sir," remarked Kagumi as she gathered to change into. "We can count the moon cycles. And how Remus seems to get sick during those times. You really shouldn't underestimate your students."
With that she was out of the room, the door closing on her way out. Dumbledore sat dumbfounded. No student had ever thought to speak that way to him before...and most grown wizards and witches for that matter! Faith laughed, only to be interupted with a sharp look.
"And the scar?"
The black haired witch shifted on her bed, her eyes hidden once again. Sirius reached for her hand to comfort her and she clasped it tightly, grateful for the support.
"She was bit when we went to help Remus," Faith began, her voice hoarse, "We were both hurt pretty bad...but she was the worst. I used some healing magic that I knew and helped her...but I overetended my magic...i doubt I will be able to use it today or tommorow..."
"This will not go unpunished, you realize that?"
"But sir!"
"No buts Mr. Black," the headmaster snapped, his eyes suddenly old as he walked over to stroke Faith's hair.
"You, along with Kagumi, have always been unique, something that I cherish in students. To have lost you two...would have grieved me to the core..."
He walked out, his lavander robe glinting sadly under the light. Faith dropped her face into her hands, sobs overtaking her body. Sirius sat helplessly, the dawning realization of what could have happened sickening his stomach.
"Oh Merlin..."

Faith was effortlessly pulled into Sirius’s arms even as Kagumi ran over and grabbed her robe. Hurriedly pulling it on and pushing her sopping hair out of her face, she ran after her Professor. She wheeled in front of him, forcing him to stop right in front of the portrait hole. Everyone else was still asleep, so she could talk freely. Kagumi pressed her back against the Fat Lady’s portrait.
“Professor. I know that you’re disappointed in us. I know this. And I know that with the way that I feel, it would have been better if you had yelled and given us two weeks’ worth of detentions. But please listen to me. I care for Remus. In more than just a friendly way. And he’s always been so sad, the entire time that we’ve been here because of the curse of lycanthropy. So you see…I had to prove to him…and to myself…that I could accept him as a werewolf. Please sir, don’t punish the Marauders. Punish me if necessary, because it’s only my fault that we were out there. I’m the one that held Remus down until the sun came up. And I’m the one who got Faith into trouble.”
The professor looked at her sternly. “Ms, Falcon, I cannot just punish one. She had the choice of going. And she chose to go. Even if it was at your behest, she chose to go and risk her life…for a petty reason.” Sirius, James, Faith came to the balcony.
Kagumi looked at him. “Sir. Please. Haven’t you ever loved anyone?” At the softness in his eyes, she knew he had. “Would you call love petty? Would you call it foolish? If you were in danger of losing the one you loved, wouldn’t you do something about it? So fine, Dumbledore. Call me foolish, weak, or petty. But I love him. And if that means I risked my life to prove it, then so be it,” upon this last statement, she moved aside from the portrait hole.

"Professor wait!" Faith called out as she stumbled down the stairs, tears streaking her face. Before Dumbledore had finished turning around she was hugging him, her arms around her neck and her face pressed to his shoulder.
"I'm so sorry Professor...I'm so sorry to have worried you," Faith whispered as she pulled back, brushing the wetness from her cheeks. Dumbledore just stared, his face unreasonable as he watched Faith move over to Kagumi. She took her hand, showing strength that she didn't have at that time.
"Professor...I'm ready to recieve the punishment that I deserve."
Dumbledore's eyebrow rose, not expecting that statement. Faith was shaking, barely standing on her own two feet. Kagumi had to help hold her up. But her eyes...her eyes held something that not many had during these dark days. He glanced over at her sister witch, and saw the same determination and compassion there.
"Kagumi...do you really love Mr. Lupin that much?"
The girl nodded, her eyes narrowing into slits.
"Then you are free to go visit him now. Faith, you go as well so Madame Pomphrey can heal you. Sirius, you may collect your evesdropping companions and head along that was also."
Faith's eyes widened and she clutched Kagumi's arm.
"So...the punishment..."
"Can wait until a far later date. Goodnight girls...and feel better Faith..."
With that he was gone, leaving the room in complete silence.

Sorry, Faith. I god-moded you quite a bit. I apologize.
----------------------------- Oct. 23, 9:46 am, Hospital Wing
Kagumi scratched at the glass door of Madame Pomfrey’s office, where she was berating Remus for not taking his medicine. Not hearing her, Pomfrey kept on lecturing until she sighed and yanked open the door. Stopping abruptly, she strode over. “Ms. Falcon. What are you doing here?” Kagumi stepped back and gestured to the entire gang.
“We’re here to see Remus,” she said with a grin. Remus, upon hearing his name, painfully walked out of the office and rushed into his girlfriend’s open arms; Madame Pomfrey looked flabbergasted. Kagumi was whispering in his ear.
“Remus…. I was worried. You seemed so upset when you found out it was me and Faith,” her breath tickled his ear. His only response was to clutch her tighter and bury his nose in her hair. Madame Pomfrey smiled tenderly for a moment, and then put on a brisk face.
“Now see here, guys. You can’t just come barging into my Wing this way! Not without - -“ Sirius cut her off.
“Without Professor Dumbledore’s express permission? We have that,” his grin caught her off guard. She stumbled, still being very young and only slightly out of training. James elbowed his best friend in the ribs and told him to “Turn off the Black charm” before she actually swooned. This making the Healer slightly angry, she sent the two of them out, telling them that they could only visit Remus at the end. Glowering at his best friend, Sirius sat down right outside the Hospital Wing entrance. Thus, it was Faith and Kagumi left.
Remus didn’t seem to want to let go of Kagumi and it wasn’t until Faith cleared her throat to remind them that she was there did they break apart. Remus sat down on the nearest bed and Kagumi with him. Faith sat in the chair next to the bed. She looked at Remus and smiled shyly. Remus sighed and ran a hand through his fine hair. “So it was you two.”
“Remus, please look at me,” Kagumi took his head in her hands to force him to look at her. “Remus, sweetie…No one would have been able to stop me from being with you. All the years that we’ve been here, that we have both been in Gryffindor, you have been ashamed of your lycanthropy. You’ve avoided people because of it and if someone were to find out, you would automatically request a Memory Charm for them and then be dejected because you felt like they couldn’t accept you. I had to…no. I have to prove to you that I can accept you. And if that means holding you in my jaws until the sun comes up and getting a few scratches, then so be it,” she looked at him with a weak smile.
He threw his hands up. “But you were hurt! By me! And you won’t even get treatment; God, it’s probably infected by now…” They let him rant off for a minute or two before laughing at him. He glared at them. “Why’re you laughing?” Kagumi turned around and pulled down the back of her robes to show him the medium sized scar running from behind her right ear to the left side of her collarbone. “It’s just a scar Remus. Faith risked herself to heal me,” She smiled at him even as his face contorted in horror at what his monstrous jaws had done. She dropped her smile as he sank his head in his hands.
They could barely hear his voice, as his hands muffled it. “I’ve marred you. Marred your beautiful skin. How can you ever accept me; I’m a monster. I can’t even protect the one I love from myself! Please, get the Healer to wipe it away. I know that she can, please?” He looked up at her with wet eyes. “Please?”
She shook her head. “No, Remus. I won’t. It’s the same excuse you use when you ask for a Memory Charm. You don’t want anyone to know or remember about you. But Jesus, Remus. You can’t help what you become! I mean, did you actually walk up to Fenrir Greyback and ask him ‘Hey, Mr. Greyback. I really like you, and I was wondering if I could spend the rest of life being hated and feared so would you, could you please scratch me so that I can be a werewolf too?’” Remus gave a weak chuckle at the inanity of the thought.
She took a breath and then continued her rant from there. “No, you didn’t! At least, you would have been very bloody stupid if you did and I know that you’re not stupid, Rem. I know it. So just…stop the charade. I’m not asking the Healer to remove this thin little bitty scar. I want to keep it, so that the next time you ask if I can truly accept you, I can show it to you. And I can tell you that I kept my battle scar with dignity and…pride.” He scoffed. “Yes, pride. Because I am proud to love you. And I’m proud to run with you as well. And you’re just going to have to accept that, because I’m not changing my mind,” she finished with tears on her face from her impassioned speech. She heard clapping and turned to see James, Sirius, Madame Pomfrey and Faith all clapping at her. Remus stood and pulled Kagumi into a kiss, to many hoots from his fellow Gryffindors. He murmured in her ear, “What on earth could I have ever done to deserve you?” With a roguish grin, much like the same one Kagumi used when she was plotting something, he dipped her down and kissed her again; when they came back up, they were both laughing.
Madame Pomfrey smiled. In her last two years at Hogwarts, she hadn’t seen Remus laugh after a transformation, nor had she seen him laugh and smile with feeling in any of the three days that he transformed every month…until now. “Whatever that girl has done to him, she’s changed him for the better,” Poppy Pomfrey whispered in thanks to the winds that swept from the open windows.

First off, Kagumi, I am sooo sorry for taking so long! Life has been sort of hectic for me, but now I am updating! Also, a little bit of god-mod for you...but it's cool!
Oct 23, 10:30 AM, Hopspital Wing
Faith walked slowly towards the entrance of the Hospital Wing, dark circles showing clearly under her eyes. She was exhausted, physically and mentally, and all she wanted to do was pass out for a week. She looked up from the floor and smiled slightly as Sirius stepped forward, his arms open and waiting for her. She sank gratefully into them, her head resting on his shoulder.
"Tired?"
Faith snorted, but nodded just the same. They stood there for a few minutes, just basking in the feel of each other. It was new...whatever this thing that they had was. Already they had been through so much, but had never really had time to talk about it.
"Hey Sirius?" Faith asked as she pulled back slightly. Sirius cocked his head, his eyes curious.
"What are we?"
"Um...what do you mean?"
"I mean, what are we? Boyfriend and girlfriend? Just a little more then friends? What?" Faith questioned, her voice pleading. Something inside of her just wanted to be reasured that he did care...that he would stay with her, no matter what happened...or what he found out...
Sirius smiled and leaned down, his cheek brushing hers. He rubbed against it gently as he laughed.
"We can be anything that you want us to be, as long as I can stay by your side..." he whispered, causing Faith to clutch him closer. He wrapped his arms firmly around her waist as her arms clung around his neck. His nose touched her throat, breathing in her scent. Something smelled good...but he couldn't quite put his finger on it...
"You're both a couple of idiots is what you are!" Kagumi laughed as she walked into the room. The pair sprung apart, blushes on both their faces. Kagumi slugged Sirius in the shoulder before placing it on Faith's.
"Remus wants to see you Black," she commented before turning to face Faith, "And I am taking you back to the dorm. We both need some sleep."
Faith nodded as she was led out, but not before looking back and winking at the black haired wizard. He grinned and winked back, his mind finally processing. Cherry blossoms...and jasmine...a heavenly combination...
"Quite daydreaming Mr. Black! Mr. Lupin would like to see you sometime this century!"

Oct. 23, 10:42 am, Hospital Wing
Madame Pomfrey’s voice rang through the haze of a mind that Sirius was caught in. The scent of her washed from his mind for the moment, he walked in through the Entrance to see Remus sitting there, watching the hips of Kagumi sway down the hallway. Sirius prodded James in the ribs and jerked his head to the expression of their friend. With a snigger, James went around and smacked his friend in the back of the head.
“Oww! What was that for?” Remus’s hand immediately went to the sore spot on the back of his head, rubbing the red mark visible on his neck from the backlash of James’s hand. James flopped next to his friend, while Sirius stretched languorously on the foot of the bed.
“Seriously, Prongs. What on Earth was that for?”
“For staring like a lovesick puppy after someone who’s slowly taming you,” James replied. “I mean, I have Lily, and she’s wonderful, but even I don’t look at her like that.”
Remus took his pillow and smashed it upside James’s head. “Yes, you do! You filthy little liar!” Sirius rolled over onto his back laughing, his eyes tearing up with mirth from watching his two best friends beat each other senseless with pillows. Feathers were flying everywhere, even as James reached over and tickled Sirius with his free hand. Falling into a mass of glee and hilarity and flying feathers, the boys laughed themselves silly. Madame Pomfrey had collapsed in her office, laughing to the point of snorting at the boys’ antics and wasn’t paying attention to the ward, seeing as no one else was there.
A deep laughter rang through the hall and all four turned to see Albus Dumbledore himself leaning on the doorframe for support. James’s glasses hung precariously askew, off of one ear and Sirius’s long black hair was filled with white feathers. Remus had flushed cheeks and his shaggy hair was sticking up everywhere. They gaped in awe as the Headmaster laughed himself tearful, finally sitting in one of the chairs. He cleared his throat as he wiped his eyes behind half-moon glasses and straightened his beard.
“Ah, it’s good that you three can find something to laugh for in these dark times,” he whispered, his eyes twinkling merrily. Madame Pomfrey cleared her throat and straightened her hat, as it was crooked.
“Yes, Poppy. Don’t think that I didn’t see you in there, laughing as well,” he smiled in amusement at her hurried blush. Dumbledore then turned back to the three Marauders and smiled at them. “Mr. Lupin…you’re very lucky. To have a woman who would risk life and limb for you after such a short period of time. However, I regret to inform you…that she very well may be joining you in your monthly transformations. Unless of course, she will let either Poppy or myself look at the bite you gave her last night.”
Remus’s face dropped and he swayed as the news hit him…I may have turned her…into a monster like me…No! Please, Gods, no!
James looked at Sirius and they both put their arm around Remus, who was now trying to hold in tears.
“The thing is, boys…that Ms. Falcon may very well be fine. You see, Ms. Angel is very skilled at healing magic, indeed. Especially when it comes from her life’s energy. Yes, Mr. Black, she took part of her own life and gave it to Ms. Falcon. However, this energy regenerates every other day. And even when you injured Ms. Falcon, she still had the strength to hold you down. How very interesting. I shall go now and speak to the girls. I suggest that you take some Rejuvenating Potion, Remus. And that you and your friends all get some sleep; you will need it…for tonight.”
And with that, he left Remus to get medicated and the boys to comfort him. “Buck up, mate. It’s not all that bad. I mean, she would’ve shown signs by now, wouldn’t she?” Sirius asked. James nodded encouragingly. But their fears were brought back up when Remus dejectedly shook his head. “No, she wouldn’t have. She might be like me, I didn’t show signs of transformations for over a month while the infections sat in and corrupted every single one of cells,” Remus whispered, remembering asking his Father if he was going to become a monster as well. His Father had clasped him to his chest and cried silently in apology for offending the Werewolf ho had done it to him, his only son.
Madame Pomfrey came in with the required potions and a wand. She tapped the potion discreetly to enhance the effects and tried to hand it to Remus. He shook his head and started to get up.
FLUMP
Sirius and James had pinned his arms to the bed and Sirius was sitting on Remus’s chest while James laughingly held his friend’s mouth open. Madame Pomfrey smiled uncertainly, since this was a monthly routine, and poured the thick potion down the boy’s open mouth, trying to hold back a laugh as she saw the murderous stare he affixed his best friends with as he got up and rubbed his mouth. However, walking out the door, all three boys were talking jovially and Remus laughed quietly as they headed to the Common Room.
Oct. 23, 11:34 am, Gryffindor 6th Year Girl’s Dorm
Kagumi was lying in bed beside Faith, stroking the girl’s hair until she fell asleep. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked up at her best friend.
“Gumi?”
“Yeah, sweetie?”
“Do you think…you’ll…”
Kagumi understood what she was asking. She sighed and ran a hand through her long black hair. “I honestly don’t know, Fai. I really don’t. On one hand, I hope so. On the other, I hope not. I mean, I know that Remus wouldn’t be alone anymore…but I also know that it would be far harder to hide for me then him. I mean…he’s a Marauder, sure. They’re famous throughout the school. But us? We’re top students. The only true competition we have is Lily and Jade. The students would definitely notice if something went wrong like that,” Kagumi’s voice echoed through the empty room.
Faith shivered and held onto Kagumi's hand as she took up the stroking again. The girl noticed the worry in Faith’s eyes deepen and smiled brightly. “But hey? You know what? I’m not. I know it,” her voice held confidence that she in truth didn’t have. Faith’s eyes brightened and then glassed over as the exhaustion took over and she fell asleep under Kagumi's soothing touch.
Kagumi slowly eased herself up and went to her own bed, sitting heavily. She looked at the backs of her hands and noticed how pale they were; her skin was very nearly transparent. She could count the veins running through to her fingertips. She knew that her face looked the same and knew that Remus had more than likely infected her. Sighing explosively, she went over to the vanity table and began applying a heavy layer of makeup over the sickly pale of her skin, humming a song as her fingers worked their magic.
“Drowning deep in my sea of loathing, Broken your servant I kneel (will you give in to me?) It seems what's left of my human side is slowly changing in me (will you give in to me?) Looking at my own reflection When suddenly it changes Violently it changes There is no turning back now, you've woken up the demon in me…
She never noticed the eyes twinkling outside her window, nor the unruly dark hair that fluttered into the boy’s eyes as the wind blew his broomstick slightly off course. Only he saw her take her wand when she was done with the make-up and perform a Concealment Charm on her skin so that everything looked completely natural. Smiling sadly, she began the process on her neck and hands, indeed, upon every inch of skin visible to anyone else but her. After over an hour of this, she was finally done and, smiling sadly at Faith and kissing her forehead, she exited the dorm and went to see the Headmaster. Or, at least, this is what she wrote on a note to Faith, which Kagumi left on the bedside table.

Faith opened her eyes slowly and watched Kagumi leave the room. She didn't even bother to look at the note the her roomate had written her. She was going to Remus, no questions needed. The black haired girl slowly rose to her feet, tears pooling in her eyes as she stumbled towards the window.
"I knew it was a bad idea..." Faith whispered as her fingers brushed the chilled glass. As she stared hard at the window, the glass suddenly icing up before shattering around her. She ducked her head, her arms shielding her from it. But nothing touched her; there were no cuts anywhere on her. Faith sighed and pulled out her wand to clean it up.
"Kagumi might not be the only one with a problem on her hands..."
"And what problem would that be?"
Faith twisted around, her eyes wide with shock. Sirius stood in he doorway, his arms crossed over his chest. She watched in horror as he stepped back, his mouth dropped open in shock. Her heart broke as his hand went for his wand.
"What...what the hell?"
"Sirius, please!"
"Don't please me! Why the bloody hell are your hair and eyes like that?" Sirius questioned, his voice hostile. Faith dropped her head into her hands, shaking slightly.
"I didn't want you to know...I didn't want you to know..."
"What? What didn't you want me to know?"
Faith's head shot up, her pupilless blue eyes blazing. She gripped a hand into her blue and white stripped hair, exhaustion almost making her collapse.
"I never wanted you to find out what I really was!"
"What...you really were?"

Oct. 23, 12:32pm, Gryffindor Common Room
Kagumi had just come down the stairs from the girl's dorm and paused for a second, looking around.
"Looking for something?", Jade said loudly, popping up directly behind Kagumi, and jumping on her back, then getting down. "Or should I say someone? I. E. Remus? HA! I knew it. I almost always know about these things, know why? Because I am the humor filled single sister who gets into trouble and has no intention of ever getting married, but just wants to go out and have sex with as many guys as possible."
Jade circled Kagumi, then walked over, grabbed her notebook and a book she checked out from the library and made for the portrait hole. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a friend to meet in the far back corner of the restricted section in the library", Jade said with an evil smirk and left.
