Firstly, it is a legal requirement (I believe) for doctors to wash their hands before performing surgery. Does that mean they all will? No, it doesn't. It's the same with abortionists.1

Here's the link to where I got that info:

http://www.jericholife.org/?/abortion/answers/health/_2.html

If you'd like to ask them where they got that information, you can go ahead and E-mail them, if you like. They're open for questions. 3nodding

They are trying to do something about it. That's why they picket with signs of aborted babies, and post this on their site. They can't do much more, though, since the courts would just see them as desperate Pro-Lifers trying to stop abortion by framing the abortionists. If you want to explore, you can go search for stories of Mothers who felt obligated and hardly had any time to make a, "choice". They rushed her as fast as they could, and didn't give her any information at all, and then she regretted it later. Her parents had flown her somewhere to get it because I don't think abortions were legal everywhere at that time. I really need to find that.

Also, since I didn't post the rest of the information (even though I believe it's true), I don't think I need to reply to all of that.

Edit: You may as well not bother replying to this post, I'm quitting the guild for a while, maybe a year or three. I have a lot of guilds that require me to be active, and this guild is kind of dead anyway, so. whee It was fun debating with you.

The flat fact is it is a matter of free speech, they can picket as long and as hard as they want to as long as it doesn't go into harrasment. There have actually been very many grateful women who have thanked these people for doing what they did.

I don't like picketers, my main reason is thus:

My girlfriend and I were going to PP to get some BC. There were some picketers outside, we couldn't get into the building unless we went through the dense crowd of them. So we start to try and get through, and guess what we have to endure? "You're baby killers!" "Monsters!""Whore!!!" ETC. They take our pictures to put on their (hypocritical) pro-life hit list web site and scream at us and get in our faces. Finally we get in and my girlfriend turns to me and says "My stomach hurts..."

Me: "Are you all right?"
Her: "Yeah... I'm fine.."
Me: "Are you sure? We could go home if you want."
Her: "Naw, I'm fine."

So we go through the process, get the BC, and endure the same crap on the way out. We get back to the dorm and as she's getting cleaned up and changing so we can go out dancing, she shouts "Oh holy s**t"

Needless to say, I rush in and there's a huge plank shaped bruise on her stomach from the back of one of those placards that the lifer's were weilding. And it's obviously done intentionally, because it's coming at a slight angle, almost horizontal, from the left down to the right. ******** hypocritical picketers.

Well, but then, that was only one example of picketers; Namely, the violent kind. Most of us are against that kind of thing. But people who are peacefully protesting have a right to do so.

I for one have stood across the street from an abortion clinic and quietly but pointedly prayed. We never even spoke to or attacked anyone going in, but we were pretty obvious and visible.

Well I don't have problems with protestors like you, but the majority of protestors are loud and/or violent.

I was about to write about the story DarkFire168 posted in the Pro-Choice guild, but he beat me to it. I was utterly sickened at reading that. Quite ironic, attacking a possibly pregnant woman IN THE STOMACH because she just MIGHT be getting an abortion. neutral

Some of them just take it too bloody far.

I find picking of anytype annoying ( that goes for both sides) but as long as they don't harass people and cause trouble then fine, I don't think it's a big problem. I find it ironic for a pro-lifer to hit a pregnant woman in the stomach cause she plans to get an abortion because they can obvious kill the child so what would be the point of protesting if they just kill it themselfs? They would be murdering if they did confused But I also find ironic for someone to say their pro-choice yet frown apon all the choices but abortion and harass the woman you decides to either keep or give it up (it has happened to some people, I talked to some), what happened to choice?

Ah people are so strange
