June 16th -
The caravan has finally reconvened. Unfortunately, Valelldia is leaving us for a few days to go on a vision quest. I wish her the best, but am slightly intimidated. I have been put in charge, as part of Anezka's growth quest. I am anxious, but at the same time, terrified that I will negatively affect Ani's future appearance.

Tall, Dark & Handsome - Lesh meets Veshengo "I'm not a very successful coordinator, am I?" Shy looked out at the empty encampment and sighed sadly, noticing everything still in its original place. "Oh well...we'll try again another time, eh, Ani?" She placed Anezka on the ground and went about collecting items and tidying up the encampment.
"Don't get so down on yourself..." A mysterious man entered the encampment and walked towards Leshya'e. He stopped a few feet from her and picked up a guitar, sitting down and strumming it lightly. "What exactly was this party for?" He looked up at her and continued strumming.
Lesh glanced at the stranger and sat down, grabbing a tambourine. "It...was a birthday party...but everyone is off exploring and the like" She began to shake the tambourine to the beat while scanning her eyes over him.
"Well, of course, the woods here are spectacular" He smiled and stopped strumming, placing the guitar back on the ground. After standing, he dusted off his pants and began to leave the encampment, "It was nice to meet you Leshya'e". He winked and chuckled to himself as he left, knowing full well that she would be terribly confused.

June 18th -
What an unusual moment that was. I was just out by the fire an like, out of nowhere, came this mysterious guy. He picked up a guitar and began to play. But thats not the weirdest part. He knew my name! Thats so creepy. I was going to follow after him, but it was so dark and I wasn't sure if I should trust him or not. He said he'd see me again...hopefully in the daylight. I need to see him again. He didn't even tell me his name.

June 20th -
I can't stop thinking about that mysterious guy. So, to keep my mind focusing on other things, I began to stitch up a new blanket for Ani. Her old one looks a bit thin. I'm making it from an old jacobite shirt and it's coming out quite well, though I'm lacking in stuffing. Maybe someone in the caravan has something I could use. I'll go around and ask tomorrow.

June 22nd -
Finished the blanket without the need for extra stuffing. Ani is sleeping on it right now, so i guess she likes it. The sun just rose and it looks beautiful. I may leave Ani here to nap and go off for a solo walk. It would just make my day if a sun shower occured on my walk.

The Dream:
Fields of clover as far as the eye could see are within Leshya'e's sight. She looks, holding Anezka closely and grinning. She puts the rabbit down to partake in the greenery.
Much to Leshya'e's surprise, Anezka is not interested in the greenery at all but is hopping foreward, and then running. Leshya'e runs after her, worried about her bunny. Anezka keeps running faster and faster, speeding up.
They both come to a cliff and stop. Anezka seems interested in jumping down but as far as Leshya'e can see, there is no bottom, only bright white, yellow, blue, and orange light shimmering and swirling in a chaotic fashion. Leshya'e goes to retrieve her, worried. "Let's go back," She tells her. "There is clover back there, it is safe, we know clover." She looked down at the light, "It is safe, unlike that."
Anezka was entranced. This wasn't like her, she couldn't back away. A hop and a jump and she was falling, disappearing into the light.
Leshya'e reached down in a panic.

The dream...the nightmare...has started again. I'm so scared to sleep, but I'm too scared to go outside and talk to anyone...They'll all think I'm crazy

August 16th -
Well...I emerged from my wagon finally and spoke with Val about my dream. She wasn't too sure what to say or think either. We have new people in the caravan now, hopefully we'll make it into Mulden soon. There's quite a few things that I need for Anezka and myself.

I've never been one to be anti-social, or to shut myself up in my wagon. The only other time in my life I've done this is...well...when "changes" started to happen and I began to become a "woman". But that was a totally different circumstance. I can honestly say that I would be content to never leave Varekai again, and I believe Anezka feels the same way.
The kidnapping, The Sight, the blindness...it was all too much. And that's coming from a child of the gypsies, a woman who understands and appreciates magic and supernatural powers. I can still feel a bruise on my face...and one on my soul. Words cannot explain the way I felt then, or am feeling now. I just know that I will never take my vision for granted, nor will I ever let someone hurt Anezka or myself again.
Ani is flipping through a picture book right now. I don't know if she's been deeply affected by our trip to Mulden or not...she isn't showing any signs of mental disruption. If anything she is friendlier, cuddlier. I hope that is the only side-affect of the horrors her young spirit endured.

Things have settled down now, back to normal...or, as normal as it can get. We have a few new people travelling with us now. They all seem quite nice. That mysterious guy has also joined us...It looks as though he maybe has a lady friend...He seems to know Valelldia as well. I'm a bit leary of him, but if Val trusts him, he must be a good guy. We'll just have to see what happens.

Hopping up the steps to Varekai, and careful not to disturb the horse, a little one leaves a package on the doorstep. It is wrapped in purple cloth and tied with twine.
Inside is a charm for Anezka, made into a necklace with brown leather.

Anezka was curled up in the floor of Varekai as the mysterious benefactor left it's gift. She sat up as she heard something go back down the steps. Crawling to the door, Anezka pulled herself to her feet and tugged the door open. She plopped back down to her knees and looked at the pretty purple package infront of her. "Puh-po?" She reached out and took it, placing it in her lap and untying the twine. "Puh-po...and Shiny...pwetties" She smiled at the necklace and looked around for Leshya'e. Not seeing her, she put the necklace around her neck and smiled, "Foh me." Ani then pushed the door shut again and went back to her napping spot, clenching her little hand around her knew pretty gift.

Oqaia looked up at her sister, deeply curious as to what was going on. But she was silent and almost slack-jawed in wonder as her sister put her dark fingers on the rabbit-girl's forehead.
"The meij would like to reward us for our selfless wishes." She touched her lips to the infant's forehead. "We all love our children, for they are not only the product of the meij in our life.. but our destinies. Our progeny. I can think of no better way to please the magic in our life, but to give it what it so desires- the rose... growing."
She closed her eyes, and drew her hands up into the sky. The meij responded, warping itself around her aura, and swirling in an almost visible spiral into the sky. Then, it coursed down through the dark gypsy-
And came down through the kiss that was left on the child's forhead. In an instant, what stood before them was no longer the Anezka they all knew.
Oqaia was astounded.
"But... Val... those quests... they're dark magic. How is this possible? Is Anezka okay?" She looked to the child- what magic was this? But her sister calmed her with a soothing glance, and answered the question as if her mother had asked it. She turned to Leshyae.
"This is a very rare occurance. Quests for a growth to be a Child of the Light or a Child of the Dark is a very difficult process. ...But this is a special day, and a very special gift that has been given. Cherish it- for Anezka is a Child of the Light." She brushed her fingertips lovingly across the girl's chin.
