StargemKitty Kasai had no clue why she had ventured into this cave, she had been travling alone for many months--years even. Nothing known seemed to scare her, and from the recent expreience with some sword-fight, the young girl was tried. And the cave sure did look like a good place to rest. As she walked into it, holding her staff in a weapon-like posture, in case anyone else was there. She didn't see any, but heard voices. A fire burst from out her hand, and Kasai called out, "Who's there!"Dev turned and ran to the entrance. She didnt like having so many people in her home..if it was hers. " I am Aeshma-deva. Who are you and why are you in my home?" she replied.

Kasai was perpelxed, living in a cave?! The girl just stared at the person, though it wasn't like her life-style of sleeping in trees was so great either, it was just weird to known someone who slept in a cave. "I'm just Kasai." She twirled her staff around lazily, glancing around the area, sighing softly. "I didn't know it was your home, I have been traveling for a long time, and because of the recent weather I was hoping to use this as a cover." Kasai replied, looking at the steady drizzle of rain that had begun.

"Well, you're welcome to stay here!" She said. "It's not a five-star hotel, but I make it as comfortable as I can. From looking at me, and seeing this place, you'd never be able to guess that I once had a house." She smiled and looked around. "Sorry about the mess."

Kasai lifted an eyebrow as the girl laughed, and peered deeper into the cave, only to find two [sp?] other people stationed there. "Er..." The girl mumbled, not really sure how to respond to the laughter. Her staff was held tighter, and Kasai acted like she was busy dusting it off. The young girl looked up from her 'busy' cleaning with a smile at the person's words. "Thanks. As you probably know, fire and water don't mix." The rain seemed to increase at her words, and Kasai shot a nasty looked at the weather. "Hehe. I'm more used to trees then five-star hotels anyway." The girl said, grinning. But then looked up curiously, "Really? What happened to it,-" She paused, then added, "If you don't mind me asking." Twirling her staff once again and simply nodding softly about the mess, Kasai questioned, "Should I start a fire? You know, to cook stuff or whatever?"

"Sure! A fire would be great!" Dev sighed "Its a long story. Lets sit down and I'll tell you." The two girls sat down. I can't remember much, but I will never forget that day when my father was called to fight. Having been born the daughter of a swordsman and a theif, I was excited and watched him leave. I pictured my father weilding the large sword (that he had recieved as a reward for his skills) and winning the fight quite heroicly. I never saw him again. A few weeks later we recieved a letter, warning us to flee. My mother, in an attempt to resist, was killed. I alone hid in our house. Then they came." She shook her head. "It's taken so many years to get all of that. I was found by a village of elves. They took care of me and helped me to regain my memory and strength. I stilll forget a lot, but sice i regained conciousness I've had only one thought: Fing my fathers sword and kill whoever killed him." Dev bowed her head for a moment and when she looked up, she was back to her cheery self. "So what's your story?"

Kasai grinned back, "Ok. I'll just have you stand back." The girl stand, gently pulling the other person by the arm and out of her way. Glancing around, she almost hit herself for forgetting the main item. "Anyone gonna fetch me some sticks?" Kasai smiled good naturally, moving around and tossing a few sticks in a circluar form. Since her staff was only good for large fire's, the young girl curled up her fingers, opening them up only to show the tiny flame that flickered within her hand. With a sudden snap, or move in the stick's direction, it was casted aflame. Though it made the entire room bright and warm and cozy, Kasai-like always, felt the coldness that emerged her everytime she didn't use her staff. There was a reason she kept it. Listening to what the other girl was saying, Kasai's blue eyes lit up, and resting her staff near her, sat down on a nearby rock. "Ok." She muttered softly, grinning. It was still cold...not around, but inside her, and Kasai hugged herself for warmth, grabbing the staff, setting it aflame so that the heat would warm her up. --- The other girl's story was amazingly interesting, and Kasai simply nodded. "I'm sorry?" She questioned, as if not knowing what else to say. "Life has all sorts of twists are turns, but we never have to like them." Kasai muttered, partly to herself.
There was a fear in her eyes as a question was directed at her, and Kasai seemed to strink back. "I do not like to advirtise it." The young girl muttered, looking away, with a tone that clearly stated that it was too personal for her to share it with someone she just met a few mintues ago. "Anyway," For hopes of changing the subject, "What's your name? I'm Kasai. It means conflagration, or simply fire."

Kasai nodded sheeplishly, "I forgot you mentioned it to me." The girl smiled softly, glancing away. "Don't be sorry, I don't know what it means either." Kasai chuckled softly, eyes glittering. "Do you have a power?" She questioned, fingering her staff. "I obviously have one, Fire. It's my element. Though if I don't use the staff to direct, or use my fire, I always have this ice-like feeling after I use it from the hand."

"Power? Yes, I do have one. My element is earth. I've always been able to do all sorts of things with nature. If I stay indoors too long, I get terribly ill."

"Dev and Kasai seem very friendly,"thought Neolhfa. The conversation they were having made her quite comfortable. When Dev said that she was brought up by elves,a sudden flash of memory came to her mind."Is it she?"Her long-lost friend?"The chaos has parted us and the years have changed our looks".Neo decided to take the chance and make the others know she was there all the time. She jumped down."Hello,"she said and added nothing more.

I've kinda got the hand of- I'm not sure if you could called this a power, but-" Kasai's voice cracked, before continuing, "Always used to say that I could spot every emotion, every thought. It sounds a bit like a psychic power." Eyes flamed up at the new voice, but the abnormal fire in them dimmed out as Kasai spotted another creature, and curiousity took hold. "You're reflecting." Kasai said to the elf [sp?]
