Lol... Elites are, as previously stated, larger in all aspects. Their heads stick forwards, making them extremely easy to hit from the sides as well. Although it is true it is nearly impossible to get a back-of-head-shot, if you look downwards as a Spartan, Strongsiding, you can make yourself nearly as difficult to kill. Also, if your game banks that much on running, you shouldn't be playing.

An Elite is faster than a Spartan, but an Elite's head is larger, which is bas especially in Snipers or when using a BR/Carbine.
That's why alot of people complain when they see someone as an Elite on their team in Snipes.
I don't think either is better, both of their advantages/disadvantages have been balanced out.

And the elites have a much wider body making them easier to hit with spray weapons and all weapons for that matter. They also have a larger head making getting head shots on them easier with all weapons that can get head shots. So overall elites are worse.

Unless the Halo 2 creators actually say "Elites are worse", then I think it's fine to think whichever is better based on your own beliefs.
Some people think Elites are better, and some people think Spartans are better.

ummmmm.......kalec made a vid on youtube that shows that if youre an elite the autoaim works a lil bit worse on you giving you a lil bit of an advantage in a mid-longrange br fight......but their huge bodies still ******** you over anyway

In my opinion, the elites are a lot better race to play as, since even thought they are larger you can crouch down and get lower, then the spartan, and when using a sniper rifle, thereheads are skinnier making a head shot slightly more difficult to obtain from directly infront of them.
Spartans have the same chances of being killed ay any angle and dont seem to have a head bob when running.
It has been awhile since i was on live so changes may have happened since then so my observations may be incorrect

i sometimes use a covenant just to give myself a challenge becuz as you know their heads stickout.
I mainly use a Spartan.

If you're talking about skills then no, there isn't a difference, The elites actually sees the spartans as their equals and respects them.

I myself use an elite. If you know how to dodge and move good, then it won't matter what you choose to play as. Although I use a spartan every so often, Elite is by far my favorite. Look at this funny pic:

I use a Spartan, purely because I can't be bothered to change.
Sure, Elites are harder to headshot from the back, but they're a hell of a lot easier to shoot in the head from the front or side. The Spartan is harder to headshot by comparison, but is the same difficulty to headshot from any angle. (Except from directly below, but thats absurd n_n).

there is a differece between a Spartan and Elites. Spartans are still human they were just enhanced to Kick some majore woop @$$ xd . and as fo Elites there just butt ugly xp !

K a l e c SuperSaiyan Zero X Im Elite. our heads are harder to shoot from behind if we look downwards. unlike the spartan head which is viewable from all sides So the Elites are only good for running away. So if you suck nuts play an elite. Well, it would take a spartan to know what it means to run away...
