Final Fantasy X. Before that, I hardly ever played video games. It was my first RPG. *thinks back* Ahh, the memories.

Ravenwolf Which Final Fantasy was your first? Did you just stumble upon it or did a friend force you to play? Were you hooked right away or did you have to play a couple of games before you caught on? What kind of games did you like before Final Fantasy, and do you still like them as much? Share your stories! My first was VIII. I was eight when it came out, so I think I started playing soon after that. My brother already had VII, but I didn't pay much attention to it (probably because I cared too much about graphics at the time), then I started playing VIII and became obsessed pretty fast. Before that, I think my favorite game was Spyro, which I still like, but haven't played in a long time. Now I miss it... I loved spyro to death as well. I still do, but I also haven't played it in a very long time. My first final fantasy was FFIX, and I was immediately obsessed. I bought it one day when I was twelve years old, I was at Gamestop, and I saw it there and wondered why I had not picked p a final fantasy game in my life. I loved rpgs, especially squaresoft titles, so I bought it. I have never been the same since.

My first was FFX. I got into it when I played the first Kingdom Hearts in October 2002. I saw the people in it and I was like '' wooow they are so cool''. When I found out that they were from the FF series, my hunt began. I traded my friend some game I don't remember and he gave me FFX. After that, I bought FFVIII, then IX, and so on. Then went down to the older ones. Now I have a somewhat large collection of FF. WOO-HOO!! I guess I'm now officially a FF nerd. sweatdrop
But, I actually DO NOT remember the game(s) I used to play before KH/FF. I think the majority of them were racing games, I'm not sure... However, now I really only play RPGs.

Figuring out how to get Edgars Chainsaw. finding out that Terra is *spoiler* Half esper. The opera house, I always sang along like the nerd I am, but that was a great song. The countless ways you could alter your characters stats depending on which magicite they had equipped when they leveled. The Imp Spear and armor LOL only usuable(or at least decent) if you were in imp form. The destruction of the world, and all the heartbreaking memories of the characters. I'm so glad I can remmeber this game, and that I have played it. It touched me alot. hehe I'll stop babbling now.

All of these reasons and more got me hooked on FFVI and FF in general. Also, I found my first crush on a video game character in FFVI in the form of the beautiful Celes Chere. Of course, the whole thing at the Opera House was awesome and hardened my crush on her. Plus, even to this day, that little tune still brings a tear to my eye. "Aria Mezzo de Carratere" made a sensitive man outta me. *sniff-sniff* And here I was, promising myself I wasn't gonna cry. crying

My first FF game was FFX. I wasn't really into it until my friend got FFX for Christmas one year and I watched him play it and I was hooked, so I started playing it.

My first Final Fantasy would be X-2. mainly because I wanted to play a FF game, and that one was on sale at the time, so I bought it... And I've been hooked on that series ever since.

the first Final Fantasy that I played was FFX, but I remember my brother playing VIII and IX way before that. I still haven't played VIII, although I have every intention of stealing it off of my bf in the near future and playing it blaugh
