Aylana arches a brow before nodding "Yes I do, why do you think I want to help Nyoka? I feel bad that I haven't done s**t." pushing her hair back she watches Nyoka trying to figure out what she was getting at.

With another sigh, she pinches the bridge of her nose, squeezing her eyes shut. She can't look at Aylana when she says this next part.
"Then, you should understand that I am not trying to be cold when I tell you what I have to say," she starts, in a soft voice. "You need to get your s**t together before you can come and help. You're no good to me when you have all of this guilt, all of this sadness, all of this confusion," she says, opening her eyes and giving her sister a look that clearly says she has taken a stab, probably the correct stab, at what the 'other things' are that Aylana is thinking about. "You might think it is better for you to just get your mind on other things, but it isn't. You'll get distracted, and screw something up, then I will be left with doing your job, anyway."

Aylana grumbles crossing her arms again, She hated when Nyoka was right, she hated it more when she couldn't fight back. Laying back she just looks up at the ceiling before wiping at her eyes "I'm sorry Nyoka, your right. I just want to wake up and everything be right for a change. That I didn't feel helpless." shrugging she gives a small chuckle.
"I have no one to blame but myself, I just know that I can't keep doing this. I need to fix everything even if I know I'm going to be in tears when it happen." she was near tears now, but she didn't allow that to show.
Kicking her feet she smirks "Oh remember that dream I told you about a few months back? Yea it came back right after I had the twins. It was worse though then before. Nyx was in it again I couldn't understand her at all." she was once again trying to change the subject. If there was one thing she hated it was crying in front of Nyoka.

Nyoka is on the point of saying something, when she feels an icy cold grip around her heart. Her eyes harden, and start to glow lightly. The snakes in her hair seem to rear back a little, and hiss threateningly. "Don't mention that b***h in my presence," she says, in a deeper, harsher, angrier voice.
She is soon blinking, however, as the glow fades from her eyes once more. She shrugs, and says, as though nothing has happened, "You can tell me about your dream later," waving it off. For some reason, she really doesn't want to hear about it. . . .
"Erm, this might sound odd, but I want to talk about something," she pauses, as though looking for a word. "Happy," she finally concludes.

Aylana eyes widen hearing the voice she didn't know coming from Nyoka. But it was a second before she was back to normal. Shaking her head she nods laying back down on the couch.
She knew not to push Nyoka into wanting to hear about the dream, but she felt the need that she had to. Pushing the thought aside for now she kicks her feet in the air alittle "Just think when this bar opens up were going to be far more popluar then Silver ever was."

"Well," Nyoka pauses, quirking a brow, and sitting on the back of the couch. She looks down at her sister, and tilts her head to the side. "You know, I never wanted to do this to compete with him. I just needed something to do, now that I am going to have a lot more time on my hands," she says, with a shrug. "But . . . you said us, not the bar. Why, in the name of the gods, would you say something like that?" she asks, chuckling a little as she speaks.

Shaking her head she laughs "You know I meant the bar, I just said it all wrong. And there not really much as far as a competion. Silver's club closed down not to long ago. So you know people are itching to find a new place to hang out." giving her sister a goofy smile she lifts her arms above her head.

Nyoka laughs, now, and shakes her head. "Sis, there are plenty of bars out there, that is what I have been worrying over. But, I am sure, if we work hard enough, it will work out. I really think so, or we wouldn't be doing this," she says, shrugging.
"Anyway, are you going to take me up on the offer from before? About drinks and food?"

Aylana nods "Yea it will work out, I just know it. I mean we do have an awesome team with Arkie and Morty so far. I still need to get in touch with Rune." sitting up she shrugs before glancing towards the kitchen. "Just some water please, not really all that hungry."
She falls quiet for a moment thinking about how Nyoka reacted early, she never seen her sister do that. Not unless she was angry, so she was slightly worried.

"Gotcha," Nyoka says, and slithers toward the kitchen.
When she returns, she hands the bottle of water to Aylana, and sits in the arm chair next to the couch. "Well, I am sure you will get in touch with Rune at some point," she shrugs. "And, yeah, I can see how the four of us will make a good team. I mean, if anything, this whole thing would be fun? And, I think that some fun in a person's life is needed, anyway. Especially if you have a lot of stress to deal with," she shrugs again, her tail twitching a little as she falls silent.

Aylana takes the drink nodding her head in a thank you. Popping it open she sips from it before holding it in her lap "Yea fun is something I think we all need right now. Life just got so hectic for us all it seems." shaking her head she laughs alittle "But its nothing that we can't face, I mean were both strong and as long as we help eachother everything will be okay."

Nyoka snickers, and winks at her sister. "Speak for yourself. I am tired of picking up your slack," she says, grinning to show that she is kidding.

Gasping she pokes Nyoka in the side trying to act like she was hurt. Pouting she couldn't help but start laughing within seconds "I told you I come back to work and start helping you. But no you want me to get some rest and fix myself." nudging Nyoka she lays her head on her shoulder "Thank you for looking after me when I forget to do that for myself."

"Please," Nyoka waves her hand. "If I didn't grab you and shake you, telling you what to do half of the time, you wouldn't be here. . . ." she snickers again, and grins.
