((You don't have to explain why you do something. just make a post saying what you went to do. And for you info, Genma's room isn't accepting visitors unless they have special permission, IE the paper Ryu has.))

Aki had quickly slipped off when motioned to do so, and now sat in a chair next to Genma's hospital bed, mask pulled down. Her gray eyes gazed at his currently sleeping form, glazed over.
'Whoever the hell did this...' she thought angrily, 'I'm going to make them pay.'
Genma stirred slightly, eyes closed, face lit with pain. Aki jumped at this, gently laying her hand on his shoulder.
"Just relax." she murmured, sitting back into her chair, "Don't move, you don't have to..."

Ryu followed her to the room, but stood outside the door, and let the two have some time to themselves.

A sigh escaped Genma's lips as one auburn eye opened, looking up at Aki's worried expression.
"Hello to you too." he said, voice slightly strained. He made to sit up, but Aki gently pushed him back down.
"You have twenty stitches in your side, two cracked ribs, and slight internal bleeding. Stay still." she whispered, chuckling slightly, "The nurse told me that she doesn't want you pulling your stitches, or she'll have to redo them."
At this point, she paused, then said a little louder, "Ryu, you're welcome to come in, if you'd like."

Genma groaned and rubbed his forehead. "Damn straight." he said, "I didn't even hear the a** coming, didn't have a second to prepare myself..." he voice shook slightly, whether it was from the effort or the memory, it wasn't clear.
"You guys going after him?" he asked, finally breaking free of Aki's command and slowly propping himself up, "Be careful if you do... there's no telling what else he can do."

"I don't remember much..." he muttered, voice cracking, "Just the mist, and a pain in my side. Oh, and..." He paused. "He smelled like burning pine trees. Strange, I know but... that's what I smelled."
"How late were you out?" Aki questioned. She was rummaging around in her bag as she did so.
"Three am." he replied shortly. He coughed, and gently grasped his side, grimacing. "They call it the "witching hour" in old wive's tales."
