Jibanza gave another brisk nod, and then laughed, tumbling onto her back and looking up at the sky. Morning was coming, now... dawn was over. The colours of sunrise painted a gorgeous picture in the heavens, with splashes of pink, yellow and fire red.
"You know, X," she said, looking up, "Maybe... maybe it could be forever. But then, I mean... we'd have to come back..." she looked away, and stumbled upon the words, "B...but... who's to say... we can't... go for a while? It could feel like forever. Maybe if we... journey there, time will seem... like forever. In a way. Ha! I have no idea what I'm saying here!"
The young wild dog chuckled, and ended up giving X the biggest grin she'd flashed all week.
The jungle...
They'd meet new animals, and find new challenges. The jungle, yes.
"Let's go soon, X," she said, softly, and her eyes turned to the sky above her, "Soon..."

X hadn't noticed that so much time had passed. But then again... he didn't really care...
"Forever... " X said softly. Forever was a long time. "M-maybe we could travel together... forever... and we could come back to our packs every once in a while..." X said thoughtfully.
X laughed lightly at Ban's big grin. He smiled warmly, forgetting all about his past for the time being.
Would the jungle be that hard to get to, he wondered.
He didn't mind if getting there took a long time, he just wanted to see it... just like Ban does.
He leaned over her. "How soon?" he asked. "Soon... like now... or soon... like 14 moons or more?" he asked.
He just... he just wanted to leave the savannah behind!

Jibanza's eyes flashed with determination. How soon?!
"14 moons, huh?" she grinned, and nodded her head, "It sounds good to me. Less or more, it doesn't matter. Let me... just tell my family..."
She blinked, and then shot X an excited look.
"Next time we meet, even..." she said, with a big nod. Her smile weakened a little as she thought of what X had said beforehand, however...
Forever...
That would be beautiful. Brilliant, in fact. Ban would have a friend, X, and X would have her as a companion. To hunt with, to run with, to search for food with. But then... when the time came to raise a family... to grow up...
What then?
Jibanza looked away, but decided to hide this thought away. That stuff was many moons away. Forever... it could happen.

X smiled. "Alright. Tell your family, and I'll tell the Seer of my pack that I'll be leaving early..." He said.
He nodded as well. Though, he frowned lightly as he saw he smile begin to fad.
X opened his maw to speak wondering if he said something wrong. He saw he look away.
He closed his mouth again. It never occured to him that the she-dog wanted a family. After all, he didn't want a family because of his past. He was almost scared to.
... But... Ban probably had it better. Probably. He didn't know. He never met her pack.
He smiled at the sandy she-dog. He just smiled. Things would turn out for the best. He knew it would. Or... that's what he believed.

Jibanza gave X a nod, and her eyes glittered. The smile returned, and in full bloom now, and the little wild dog's tail sped to a whir.
"It's a deal," she nodded, and then brushed up against X's side. She gave him a friendly cuff over the head with her paw, in good spirits.
Ban's stomach had settled, and she had been calmed. She hoped X felt the same way... the wild dog hadn't liked seeing the strong individual snap, and she hadn't liked the feeling of snapping herself.
"X..." she paused, then gave him a big grin, "Well, I'll see you in a couple of moons, then!"
Her ears flicked, happily.
"It's a promise!"

X grinned when he was bapped over the head, know Ban did it in god spirit. That made his spirits rise a little more. Depression wasn't really he thing.
He nodded. A couple of moons...
"Promise," he gave a strong nod.
"Alright. I'll see you then..." He said. "We meet um... here in 4 or 5 moons?" he suggested thoughtfully.

Jibanza, stepping away, wagged her tail cheerfully. Her purple eyes quivered and glittered with anticipation.
We're only four or five moons away!
"Yes," she agreed, and her heart beat faster as she turned, "That sounds like enough time to begin preparations for our journey. We'll meet again, when the time comes. Next to the waterhole, maybe?"
She gave a nod, and then a hearty sigh.
"It's been a long morning," she said, and then gave X a smile.
The next time they met, the journey would be close. Ban was so excited.
"I'll see you then, alright?" she laughed, and then, with a grin, pulled away from X's side.
Their dream of the jungle would soon be realised.

X Smiled, taking a light step back.
"Sure," X said with a grin. "Next to the waterhole."
X nodded in agreement. It had been a long morning.
"Alright, See ya soon," He turned towards were he believed his back was.
Soon We'll leave this place...
