She stood suddenly, as if not by her own volition. She wanted something she never thought she'd want... she wanted to be close. To be held, even. Just to be told she was loved and safe. She came to his side, laying daintily. The browns of her coat mixed with the reds of his as she scooted in close, sighing softly.
She spoke not a word, she only waited to see his response. At this point, she didn't care. She rather wanted to be here, though she couldn't understand why. All her life she had been sworn enemy of any and all males... but this was different. Something was different, whether it be in her or in him.

He looked down at her, the gentle way the soft wind shifted and wafted over her fur, the way her eyes looked cold and distant yet he knew there was a fire in them, or be it the way she upturned her mouth when she was thinking upon thoughts so intensely. Everything about her he noted.......and he wanted. Just as he did that night. Just as he did again, and again, and again still. He wanted her so badly. He wanted to provide for her, and care for her, and bring her many a dead thing for her to feast on.
But this was something he would never say.
Instead he lifted his great head down over the nape of her neck and snuggled into her fur. keeping her close, keeping her warm and safe.

He didn't have to say the things he felt deep inside. She laid close enough to feel the connection between them. It was there just as it had been before. It wasn't momentary passion or stupidity... no, it was deeper than that. When he laid his head over the nape of her neck, she sighed softly, turning her own head into his thick neck fur. All the worries of the day seemed to fly off her shoulders with this one small connection... the closeness she couldn't get anywhere else. She remained silent, basking in the moment for as long as she could.

Like all wonderous moments like this, it was fleeting. Soon Savhir's eyes popped open to the sound and sight of maybe a dozen great deer and one might buck circling them. Surrounding them. He couldn't help but sigh at this. Just when he thought their lives would be less complicated a bunch of heathen running meals had to show up.
"Would this be a bad moment to admit I love you," he whispered huskily to Rien as he got up.

One ear flicked at the soft sound of a hoof in the dirt, which was accompanied soon by many others. She felt Savhir's body tense, and hers did likewise in response, raising her head to see the angry herd of deer. Great, that was uncommon. Usually deer were afraid of two full-grown wolves, yet here they were.... with an angry, large buck at the head.
"Yes." She said, her voice laced with teasing as she sprung to her feet, taking Savhir's rear guard. Her hackles bristled as she anticipated a good scaring off of the deer. She was weary of the buck's large antlers, however, and would be glad to see those fleeing behind a white tail.

Savhir grinned widely. Of course it was out of character for the creatures to act like they were now acting. But it was also out of character for the likes of wolves such as Rien and Savhir to mingle. So on and on went the tirade of confusing out of character matters. That didn't change the fact that the buck and deer would have to be done away with.
"Should we eat them?" he asked, cocking his head to the side, "Or should we kill them and leave them to the worms?"
