Jay had arrived quite quickly and had been sat outside, leaning against his bike as he stared at the sky, seeing Asher pull up so quickly started him slightly and he went into the clinic before they did so they wouldn't so boviously spot his nervousness. Now he just hoped they would go into seperate rooms for the procedures.
'it's okay to be nervous,scared,annoyed and happy all in once right? right!' he thought, chewing on his bottom lip as he stood leaning against the wall.

Raven went to her room and sat on the table. Now she was feeling a little squeamish about going through with it. She didn't mind needles. She had to use them on a daily basis sometimes to get the blood she needed or the highly powerful drugs she'd used to strengthen her weak blood. She however had a little worry about how they were to go about making her pregnant without being natural.
Asher's mind latched onto Jay's. It seemed the vampire needed him more then Jay needed the strength about needles. They were going about trying to get Asher's precious little tadpols, except the vampire was a little reluctant on letting them showing his scarred private. One doctor asked about that and the vampire just rolled his mind into silence.

Jay just looked away when the needle was brought out, wincing and trembling when they started the whole thing. he bit his lip quite forecfully, so he managed to draw a little blood, well at east now his attention was on his throbing bottom lip and not on the needle going in.
He smiled and tried to comfort Asher with his mind, the vampire was very discomforted by the whole thing.
'it'll be over soon' he kept telling himself, and when it was over he quickly dressed properly and left the room. a little sore by now.

The same happened to Asher. His precious little tadpoles were taken in silence now. No questions about him being able to function with a scarred tool but even so, Asher was very discomforted. When he was given the chance to leave, he left abrptly and refrained from clinging to anything or anyone until they could be at home.
Raven on the other hand, had the pleasure of having each of those little tadpols placed into her. She nibbled her lip, watching the little tv so she could see what was happening, other then a needle going in, insert tadpols and her biting her lip to keep from yelping at the sharpness of the needle.
Over and done with, Raven redressed, keeping a blank mask on until the doctor was gone. She was now pregnant, at least concieved and now the fun was waiting on what the baby was and the question of how many were to be expected.

Jay waited for Raven to exit before starting his motorbike, he was a little pale as he undid the clips on his helmet, needles scared the hell outta him.
"i'm gonna go ahead and finish decorating the nursery at the house, Neo'll probably come along after you two get home" Jay said, slipping his helmet on and clasping the clips shut. He slid the key into the ignition and strted the engine, kicking the support up he manouveured the bike away from the curb and then drove off, still toohigh above the speed limit.

Asher nodded to Jay as he spoke before he started the car after Raven slipped in. Asher was trying his best not to squirm or at least try and get rid of the doctor.
Raven smiled. She wondered about helping Jay out but decided to wait a little, to give them all a little time to get over the visit.
Asher drove off to return to the house, though this time he took it slower then he had going to the clinic.

Neo was sat in the kitchen, talking on his cell to Jay as he grabbed supplies.
"so my guess is you aren't getting over your fear of needles anytime soon hmm?" he asked, smirking as Jay clarified that statement. He really was too child-like and cute for words, the best friend he could ever have.
"stop being stupid! of coarse i'm not getting over this anytime soon, but...at least i'm gonna be a daddy" Jay answered, he was currently looking around the half decorated house, already using the garage to put his bike in.
"of coarse you are diddums and that'll make me...an uncle!"
"you aren't my brother"
"well if you would just hurry up and sleep with me that would all change!"
"i don't sleep with my brothers"
"but you'd sleep with me?"
"no" and Jay put that phone down, Neo blinked and chuckled slipping the cell into his back pants pocket, he put the last of the paint into a large duffle back and blinked when Merethist attached himself to his leg. Neo grinned and prying the Undera off placed a kiss on his nose.
"not this time sweetheart, it's hard to believe that you're a guy....oh well" Neo said placing Merethist on the floor and leaving Alexi and Nishi in charge exited the house and started loading the materials and supplies into his jeep outside.

((Few days after the wonderful events!))
It was evening and Raven was feeling nautious to her stomach. She had curled up on the couch with a blanket, feeling sick to her stomach. Food was making her feel worse; fast food commercials weren't helping her at all.
Dyvim curled up at her feet and hugged her legs, sensing something was wrong but not knowing how to help. It was a simple case of morning sickness...only it was striking in the evening.
A fast food commercial appeared and it sent Raven racing for the bathroom or some sink to throw up in. The taste of vomit in her sensitive mouth, even the scent, didn't agree either. When she could stop heavign, she slid to the floor, holding her tummy and resting her head against the cabinet door.

By now the house had been fully decorated and Jay had taken to shutting himself in his studio to paint or draw, but Raven's bout of sickness was playing on his mind, making him feel rather guilty about putting her in such a situation.
He was sat on the floor, the phone lying next to him, staring at a blank canvas trying to find some inspiration but finding none. He sighed in defeat, ruffling his blonde hair, which was out of it's binding yet again.
"why do I feel bad about this?" he asked himself, Merethist was sleeping soundly upstairs on his bed and Neo was out of town on a family holiday, calling his brothers would only make him out to be desperate.

Raven sighed. "I'll kill the bloody vampire for talking me into this..." She slowly got to her feet and walked out of the bathroom to go curl back up on the couch. She still felt ill but what could she do?
Dyvim gurgled a little here and there. "Aven?" He asked softly, scared. Raven looked to her undera and smiled weakly, pulling him close. "It's okay Dyvim Tvar. I'll be fine..." Just feeling sick is all...

Jay blinked sleepily, he hadn't realised worrying himself and stretching to meet deadlines had wore him out so much. He'd just barely caught himself before he fell asleep on the floor. He sighed and decided to leave his work to dry for now, reaching for the phone he dialled a number and listened to the dial tone, waiting for the person he was trying to contact to answer.
"hello? Merlin residents" came the voice of his mother, he took a deep breath and let out a breath, tryign to find the right way to word his question.
"hello?"
"hiya mom, it's me...Jay"
"Jay!sweetie how are you? how's Asher? is he there? may I speak with him?"
"Asher's out and i'm fine, just a little tired...uhm is a woman okay when she's sick during pregnancy?"
"of coarse! it's normal!"
"oh that's good, i'll talk more later..thanks mom love you"
Jay sighed as he put the reciever down and standing, he walked out of the studio to grab a drink from the kitchen, looking worringly at Raven as he passed the living room area.

Raven could handle being sick. It wouldn't make sense to her if she couldn't. She could fight otherworldly things and remain alive but if she couldn't handle just being sick...well.
She yawned softly as Dyvim looked to Jay, also worried and not convinced his 'mom' would be safe. Raven looked to Jay and just smiled. "I'll be fine...honestly. Or I will be after I get a hug."

Jay sat on the floor infront of the couch Raven was lying on and turning to face her ,he smiled reassuringly.
"sorry for putting you through this,i'll chew Asher out when he gets here, for leaving you in such a state" Jay said softly, looking geniunely worried for his friend. By now he noted strong protective feelings towards Raven were surfacing, he hated for anyone to be alone when they're in need. He had his fair share of that when he was younger...
Merethist, floated out from under the table, where he had been sleeping for the past few hours, looking around for Asher he whined when his 'papa' was nowhere to be found.
"Sher~" he whimpered.

Raven hugged him. She too had been alone for so long that her pain from it was just healing since she met Jay and Asher, and gaining Dyvim. Dyvim reminded her alot of the dragons of melnibone, except he didn't sleep as much.
"I think every female goes through with the sickness. Besides, you two wanted a baby and I don't think adoption agencies like two men together as parents." She pointed out very gently. "I've also been through worse so a little sickness isn't going to get me."
Julianna murred softly as she waited patiently for her daddy to come home. She floated to take Merethist by the hand so they could sit with Dyvim Tvar, who was currently nestled behind Raven's legs as best as he could without dampering her movement.

Asher was stuck at the Circus of the Damned. Apparently a vampire attacked another vampire as an act of revenge and he was holding them off as best as he could, while waiting for Jean-Claude to come and help. The revenging vampire took a swipe at Asher to rake his nails against his flesh, since Asher had been wearing a tank under his button-down shirt.

Jay sighed, hugging Raven back. He truly did feel sorry for her.
"We could have found someone else, i don't like putting you through this" he said softly, Merethist hugged Julianna, obviously not happy Asher was out again.
Jay's brothers and Alexi were busy with the opening of the new club, so Jay tended to stay inside, as college was over for a few weeks.
