Moo Ell Dukes Moo Ell Dukes Moo Ell Eh, it was okay.. I just really don't like Thanksgiving. It's a pointless Holiday. neutral ... Is not... rofl
It's the day upon which we celebrate the most famous mass-murderer of all, Christopher Columbus' arrival in the new world, and the colonization which was thus made possible. Thanksgiving It has nothing to do with Christopher Columbus. ... Would you like me to argue about the validity of Wikipedia as a source or should I just tell you that you are welcome to believe what you like and that you now have a source which will give you the answers? I know that Wiki isn't always reliable, but when it's history I think that Wiki users can agree on that. Here are three links that all say the same thing as the Wiki and the it has NOTHING TO DO WITH CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS. It was first celebrated almost 130 years after he even found America. Here Here also Oh and look here ... Columbus Day itself wasn't celebrated until the 1850s. Now then, I never said it was exclusively about Columbus, you're the one who hyperfocused in upon it.

Way to call Columbus a Mass murderer.
THANKSGIVING ISNT CELEBRATING THAT. THANKSGIVING IS A FEAST CELEBRATING THE FIRST HARVEST AND SURVIVAL THROUGH THE WINTER AND s**t.
Thanksgiving wasnt even legalized until 1941.

No, we celebrate being thankful. It's a day of thanks. It was MADE because of Pilgrims having peaceful relations with indians and sharing food and such because the pilgrims were stupid and didn't know how to plant corn. Christopher columbus did his mas murderings wayway south. This was a new batch of people. Estellio Estel

But regardless, yes, thanksgiving is a day of thanks, not a day to celebrate death... in fact, it's to celebrate life (y'know, food = life, because no food = death... o_o( ) ) ^_^
