*Kyo never intend to be a rock star when he was a kid. Instead, he wanted to be a Hakaida [a baddie from "Kikaida"]. "Because I like baddies" he said.*
*He didn't get into music until he was 15, where he found it was something he really enjoys.*
*He is a great fan of the band Kuroyume, and he looks up to the vocalist Kiyoharu.*
*He dislikes his birth name that he doesn't even use it in his former band.*
*Kyo has had numerous accidents for as long as he's been alive. He's had a fire extingusher swung at his head (by a friend no less), he almost got alcohol poisoning the first time he drank, he got into a motorcycle accident, a car accident (well, almost, by Die), he has an ear problem, he seems to constantly be getting sick, and oddly enough, actually tripped over one of the crew guys when they were cleaning up his white spittle crap.*
*He enjoy lying in interviews [doesn't mean he lies all the time though]*
*Kyo once stated in an interview that, for some reason, people keep calling him Miyabi. Ever since then, Die keeps calling him "Miya-chan."*
*When asked to list his 3 most precious things, Kyo responded with: 1. Dir en Grey; 2. my voice; 3. my 800-1000 CDs at home.*
*When asked to say something to all of his bandmates, he simply replied with "Minna-san work hard."*
*Kyo once walked out on stage wearing one of the Child Prey mouse heads.*
*It is not clear if Kyo listens classical music or not. But surely, Dir en grey borrowed a tune from Brahms for Deity. Another source stated that Kyo heard a random ringtone from a mobile phone and tried to sing it. Later they found out that it was Brahms´s fifth Hungarian dance.*
*At one point at a concert in Osaka, Toshiya gave his bass to Kyo. The look on his face is assumed to be the same face he would make if someone handed him a large, dead, smelly fish.*

*One of his favourite things to do is to talk about blood and gore, but this is expected of 'stage-kyo'.*

*He is very demanding and selfish on the stage. Whenever fan interrupts his MC he shouts 'Shut up b***h! I'm not talking to you!'*
*The nickname of Kyo is Warumono, meaning "bad person" in Japanese.*
*He has 2 pets, Puchi and Buchi, the kangaroo rats.*
*He has many piercings and tattoos.*
*Kyo hasn't got much luck with his eyebrow piercings. When he first had one, it got infected and was very tender, so he decided to leave it alone and have another piercing on the other side, but the same thing happened to that one too!*
*His hearing to his left ear is very bad, because in 2000 he had an Acute Acoustic Trauma, and because of that, many lives were postponed to next year. The cause is theorized to be a live version of Rasetsu Koku. He had a call from his family saying 'Don't give up. You have to replace the canceled gigs because your fans support you...'.*
*While he was in the hospital, Kyo was not worried about delaying the tour or if these complications would cause problems with the band. He was just worried that he was going to get fat from the medicine. He also complained that the nurse giving him saline injections took the needle out of his arm very slowly, and he wanted her to do it fast.*
*When Kyo left the hospital, his bandmates threw him a party with champagne.*

*Kyo can play guitar and bass to some extent. He tried many different instruments before he decided he would be a singer instead.*

*All members agree that he has got the worst handwriting. He writes the set list for the gig but often other people can't read it.*
*In the band only Kyo likes to use daub-like, thick make-up. His hair changes color constantly: raging from black to red, to bleached blonde; he just spikes it up or combs it down, or just puts it under a hat or a bandana. Nowadays he keeps it at shoulder-lenght and dyes it black. In their Visual Kei days, the clothes he designed were often based on a traditional japanese kimono, interwined with modern materials like pleather and corsets.*
*Toshiya and Kyo used to live together because they didn't have much money back then, and Toshiya says that he's glad he doesn't live with Kyo anymore because his piercing scare him.*
*Kyo occasionally drinks*
*He can't work (live) without complaining. But that is just one of his ways of expressing himself. Sometimes he doesn't say enough words so people misunderstand him, but he doesn't care.*
*He hates splatter films. "I get really sick when I see things bleeding. But I don't mind doing it myself' says Kyo..."*

*Kyo was very disappointed by his first love. He had not told her but somehow people found out and told her and she started avoiding Kyo.*
