As she lay unconscious in the stranger’s arms sandy brown fur rippled over her young body. She was apparently in her late teens. Her face protruded swiftly into a graceful velvety soft muzzle. Her ears ran up the side of her head and lengthened out almost comically beneath the mass of her hair coming loose from her braid. Held in the strong reassuring arms with the deep voice coaxing her, she allowed her eyes to flutter open. She was startled at first by what seemed to be a strange looking horse. She jerked away and fell to the ground seeing now that her own body wasn’t normal in the slightest. He long slim legs had become even longer and slimmer, ending in dainty cleft hooves. Her fingers were similarly tipped with horny hoof material where once she’d had small but perfectly manicured fingernails. She looked at herself in the shiny reflection of the metal, recognizing only her eye color and wild bangs, the antelope’s face stared back in obvious fear.

She looked up, feeling a blush creep around all the way to her ears, granted the fur would hide that. She looked up at the mountain of muscle that was this man, her rescuer, and then quickly returned her gaze to her own feet, feeling herself blush even deeper. She listened to his comments, understanding by his tone that he was trying to reassure her. She knew she probably needed it too under the conditions. “I-I’m Sirea, nice to meet you, I suppose.” She wasn’t sure how she knew but somehow she wasn’t completely disoriented. She seemed almost to be familiar with what she was going through, as if she’d done it before. But done what? “Are we alone? Or are there other people around. Are they like us?”

"Funny that we can remember that and not where or when we ate it eh?" He chuckled as they continued to walk, and the distinctive smell of bird grew stronger. As they rounded a corner they realized the scent emenated from a room, one filled with more of the strange capsules, like the ones they themselves had come from. whispering now Aion twisted his head towards Sabel once more, "What'll we do if it's chicken?" he asked absently, trying to quell the nerves that were causing his fur to stand on end, "Maybe it's a really big chicken..." he muttered stalking closer, and trying to quiet the padding foot falls that his feet and not Sabel's made. "Apparently it's still got it's feathers on...." He couldn't understand why he continued to whisper nonsense... "'cause I can smell feathers," and hear them he realized, the soft rustling of feathers was audible to his perked and sensitive ears. "maybe it's a..." but he never finished the sentence, as he thrust his head through the doorway at just that moment, and coming muzzle to beak with the wicked and balefull gaze of an eagle he yelped loudly leaping backwards and cried, "IT'S A TURKEY!!"

"Aaah!" The bird man said flying into the air instinctively. "My names...um...jack.., no, Jonah..., no." 'Gosh why can't I remember my name?' he muttered to himself. "That's it my name's Josh!. What's yours?" he asked the others, his feathers ruffling from flight.

"He's Tex...I don't remember my name yet...its seriously annoying...wait a sec...serious...hmm... seri...Sirea! My name is Sirea!" The look of joy on her face was like that of a young child at her first Christmas. "I remembered it!" She wriggled in oblivious excitement as the others looked on. "It's almost as good as when I first stood up like this...but I did this one on my own, Tex had to help me walk."

"Now don't be judgmental, everyone takes things differently." Tex assured with a sigh. "I think it's kinda..." He searched through his head for the word he was looking for. "...admirable to find joy in everyday life. To celebrate the little miracles y'know. It's the little things that make up life."
