James wandered over to the fountain and began swirling her hand in it. The water danced with different colors in her palm. James noticed another person show up and wondered who he was. She still had yet to meet everyone there. James laughed to herself at the thought of her first day and all that had happened so far. She hoped tonight would be one to remember!

Ginseku looked over at James. He got up off of his spot on the tree, heading over to her spot and sitting next to her.
"Hi, Im Ginseku. whats your name?"

James' attention immediately snapped to Ginseku. "I'm Jayme, but you call me just James. It's nice to meet you," she practically whispered. James gave a cute a little smile before looking up at the stars quickly, trying her best not to be rude, but wanting most deeply to be among those stars.

Ginseku smiled, following her gaze and looking up at the stars.
"Sometimes I wish i could go that high when i fly..."
He wings moved slightly under his coat and he sighed. he took off his coat, pulled out a kunai, and cut two large strips open in the back of the coat. He stuck his wings straight out, and slipped his coat back on, his wings resting contentedly with their new breathing space. He looked down at the glowsticks, wishing it were time to snap them and do what he did best. but no, it wasnt quite time yet.

James' eyes almost bugged out at the splendor of Ginseku's wings. "They're amazing." Her voice was pure and earnest. James made a slight hand motion and instantaneously a small breeze appeared. It was light and cool and felt perfect under all the warm lights. It was a perfect night for the dance. "So, are you entering the dance contest?" James questioned Ginseku.

Glissa stolled into the courtyard slowly. She was wearing a slinky silk dress that was cut low in the front and back, and hung loosly around her shoulders and hips. She has on a necklace of black onyx and matching earings. She had put on some make-up for once; charchol grey eye shadow and blood red lipstick that matched the hue of her eyes. Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun with a few strands drapped delicately around the frame of her face.
Once in the center of the courtyard near the fountain, she sat down on a bench and gazed up at the sky. It was snowing lightly, but you could not feel the cold. Koori had cast a spell earlier that evening that eliminated the cold. That way, everyone could enjoy the snow with out freezing to death. She looked around the courtyard. There was two people sitting under a nearby tree and a few others milling about by the food tables. Glissa let out a sigh as she waited for more people to show up.
((Glissa will judge. And if you want, add Koori to judge too. I can have her pop in when the contest starts biggrin ))

Moofles milled about off to the side of the courtyard. She wasn't one for people, especially happy people, and opted to stay as far away as possible. Tiffie had been quiet for a while, Moofles noted happily, and hoped she would stay that way. That girl had been rather pissed off since that whole, "I'm going to take over your body now, so nyeh!" thing Moofles had pulled during the exams not too long ago. Perhaps the moral neko had simply given up? So like a human... Regardless, she was glad that she could think without having to tell anyone off for interrupting.
She should have been setting up her dorm room, having just acquired an actual room, but decided that, for the sake of appearance, she should pop up at the party. After all, what was the point of being here if everyone simply forgot she existed? That wouldn't be any fun~
Her torn black dress hung in shambles about her legs, and a light jacket kept the cool air off her already overly-exposed skin. The white-haired deity wore some light colored jewels that she had "borrowed" from a shop down the way. She scanned the area as she leaned against the wall of some building or another, and settled in to await the possible arrival of more people.
(OOC: sweatdrop I was a bit busy and didn't sign up...)

Michael entered the courtyard and felt slightly ashamed that he had nothing better to wear than his everyday clothes. He glanced around and saw her sitting underneath a nearby tree. She was with another guy. 'Should I go over there and introduce myself to her and that other person?' he thought to himself. Michael took a deep breath and in doing so, felt an icy chill run down his spine. Something had changed about Jayme. She wasn't the same, and she never would be again. He made his decision, he had to at least go and introduce himself as her guardian, there was no avoiding that. Michael walked over to Jayme and spoke with a warm a friendly voice. "Hello Kaji."
James sat waiting for Ginseku's reply when the strange man entered the scene. The moment she heard his familiar greeting, she forgot herself and instantly replied, "Michael?" 'Could it be him? Was it him?' Her eyesight faded and all she could see was darkness. She had apparently fainted.

Moofles raised an eyebrow as one of the people across the way apparently passed out. She decided this was a good time to wander over and see what was going on. Her clothing waved about as she walked across the snow, coming to a stop next to the trio. "Not that I really care," she said, crossing her arms across her chest, "but I don't think passing out is quite healthy for people." She prodded at the unconscious girl with her foot, and then looked at the two men. "Perhaps you should get her off the ground."

Michael instinctively reached out for Jayme. He placed his hands over her head and a brilliant white light emitted from them.
James' eyes opened slowly and she blinked several times. The before her was the man. Somewhat startled, James moved slightly away from him. "Who are you?!" she demanded, looking at the three that were near her.
"Kaji," Michael extended his hand out to her, "I am your guardian, your protector. You can call me Vaughn. Please, I am sorry for apparently interupting your conversation with this gentleman. I will leave." He rose to his feet again and began to walk away.

Kathlyn walked in to the court yard; where the dance was to be held. She was in a pretty good mood. She loved music and dancing and parties. Plus the fresh air was energizing her and she was ready to have some fun. She looked around to see how many people were already here, and decided that as long as she wasn't the last one, she was fine.
Reitan was there too; however unware of his presence Kathlyn was, he was very aware of her presence. He watched her enter the courtyard from a tree and smirked. He didn't leave his perch yet though; he wanted to wait; and see just who all would appear. After all, he wanted to see Kathlyn happy...and he seemed to provoke the opposet emotions in her.

Moofles was rather shocked at how quickly the girl recovered. Maybe there was more to these people than met the eye. "It's not much of your concern, but my name is Moofles." She paused, looking her over with her blood red eyes, before adding. "And, since you're obviously not dying, which is a pity, as that would have made my night a tad more interesting, I'll be on my way." The white haired deity gave the woman a small smirk, before turning on her heel and walking back to her spot against the far building.
Or, at least, she would have, but decided that she should pay Glissa a visit. Moofles meandered over to the bench where the woman currently sat, apparently in a daze or something, and sat down beside her. "Hello again." She said, crossing her legs.

Glissa looked over at Moofles as she sat down.
"Hello there Tiffie... Or I should say, Moofles..." A smirk crossed her face. She could easily sense Moofles now that she had full control of her host's body.
"How has your evening been so far? Not much here to entertain us demons, let alone a deity..."

Kasai made her way to the courtyard. She was wearing her same red leather leotard, but this time she had a snow white half kimono draped across her shoulders with matching red plumes trailing off the back. Her eyes were glittering a bright redish orange with excitement. She gazed up at the lights happily. She had never been to a party before and couldn't wait to see what exactly would happen. After making a circle around the fountain, she quickly spotted Ginseku sitting under a tree and surrounded by a crowd. Hurredly seh made her way over to see what was going on. The people were more concerned with the girl lying on the ground, so she bent down and tapped Ginseku on the shoulder.
"Hey you!"

Ginseku had just pulled his guitar off of his back when Kasai Spoke to him. Instantly his face plastered a smile on, and he spoke.
"Hey! You here for the dance contest, or just the dance itself? And before you ask, Yes, I am in the contest. I expect there to be healthy competition as well."
He smiled, looking her outfit over. Before she could respond, he added:
"You look awfully pretty tonight, Sai. New kimono?"
He then remebered that he wasnt wearing a shirt underneath his coat, and blushed slightly, pulling his coat on tighter to hide the binding chains that were bulging his muscles.
