After just a minute, Eli 'gained the advantage' and plopped himself down on Coen's chest, effectively 'pinning' him to the floor. He paused for a second to grin up at Jazz like "Look what I did. He's no match for me" then proceeded to mercilessly tickle the feline's ribs.
Gasping for air, Coen wriggled and squirmed, begging Eli to have mercy in between bouts of girly giggles (which sounded reeeeally funny coming from the big lion). "P-p-p-please, Eli! S-stop! I honestly..c-c-can't breathe!" he squeaked, tears of mirth leaking from the corners of his eyes.

The little scaredy-mouse couldn't help but giggle at this amusing scene on the floor. He took a step closer and patted Eli on the head gently. "I think you've proven how much stronger you are than him, Eli. Wanna play a game now?"

Distracted from what he was doing, Eli looked up at Jazz and grinned. "Sure!" he chirruped then rolled off of Coen and bounced to his feet.
Meanwhile, the big cat just laid there, spread-eagled on the floor with his eyes closed, panting. Coen greatly regretted revealing to Eli that his sides were ticklish. The little foxchild always went for his weak spot...

The little mouse giggled and flicked his tail a bit. "Would you like to play hide and seek? That's one of my favorite games! You hide, and I'll count!" He offered, intending to help the lion up after the little fox ran off to hide.

"Ok!" he said, grinning broadly. Then he turned to Coen and said in the most threatening tone he could muster, "An' you gotta keep your eyes closed, too so you can't 'elp 'im find me." Once he was sure everyone would play by his rules, Eli waited for Jazz to cover his eyes before he ran off to go hide.

With a giggle, the mouseboy covered his face with his hands and turned around, starting to count. "One, two, three..."
As soon as the little fox ran off to go hide, Jazz turned to peek through his fingers to make sure, then he removed his hands and knelt down to help the lion up with another giggle. "Are you okay? He didn't tickle you too badly, did he?"

"It feels like he bruised my ribs," Coen complained, pulling a face. Then he smiled and opened his eyes, looking up at the mouse. "My name's Coen, by the way. And you are?" he asked, propping himself up on one elbow. He didn't notice that the motion caused his loose-fitting top to open slightly, revealing about half his broad chest.

"Aww," he giggled. "I'm sure he didn't hurt your ribs too badly." He giggled again, but didn't seem to notice the movement of the other's clothing. "My name's Jazz, it's nice to meet you, Coen. Need some help getting up?" He said, standing up but still bent over, extending a grey-furred paw to the other to help him up.

Coen rolled his eyes at the mouse's teasing and waved away the offered paw. "No, no. I should be able to get up on my own. My injuries aren't fatal. But if I collapse, you'll know I was wrong," he said dramatically while he got to his feet and dusted himself off. "You better go look for Eli. He gets impatient fast.."

He nodded with another giggle. "I'm glad your injuries weren't fatal," he said as he straightened up, then nodded quickly. "Oh I should, okay." He cleared his throat, then called rather loudly, "Ready or not, here I come!" He then skipped off into the next room with a giggle to look for the little foxchild.

Coen watched until Jazz was out of sight then he went to rummage through the cabinets for something to eat. When he found a bag of beef jerky, he let out a rumbling purr and sat down at the table to wait for Eli and his mouse friend to finish their game.
Eli heard Jazz shout and held a paw over his mouth to keep from giggling out loud. He had found an excellent place to hide. Nobody'd ever find him there..

Jazz wandered into the room Eli had chosen to hide in, scanning the room quickly and instantly spotting the hiding place of the little foxchild. He stifled a giggle as he continued to look 'carefully' around the room, checking behind lots of places but avoiding the hiding place of the fox. "Hmm.. Where can Eli be? I can't find him anywhere!" He peeked inside of a small cabinet. "Hmm, not in here.. Not there...Where can he be?"

Eli let out a snort but quickly stifled it, shaking with silent giggles underneath the big old fashioned chair he had crawled under. Unfortunately, he had forgotten about his tail once again and it was a dead giveaway, the shiny blue fur acting as a homing beacon.

He continued to stifle his giggles, and he called to Coen in the other room. "Coen, I can't find Eli anywhere! Can you help me find him? I looked all over this room!" He said, covering his mouth to avoid giggling.

Eli giggled harder, holding his breath so he wouldn't "give himself away". This was too easy! Adults were so dense...
Jerky in hand, Coen stepped into the room and his gold eyes immediately went to the fluffy blue tail. Shaking his head, Coen said in a loud stage whisper. "I dunno where he is, Jazz. Eli's just too good at hide and seek.."
