She flicked her ears, whickering curiously, "are you my mother?" she asked. She has heard many mares asked her where her mother is, but she doesn't know...or wonder if she even had one. She thinks a mother must be really important if they always ask about one.

Frosta looks down at Blaise with a gentle smile on her face. "No.. but I wish I was. You are very precious." She mumurs as she nips at Blaise's flank. "I wonder how you could survive without your father or mother..." Her eyebrows furrows as she frowns. "If you want, you can stick close with me until you grow up?" She suggests, since she have a weak spot for any foals.

The golden filly giggled and leapt away from Frosta, laughing and bucking like foals are wont to do. Then she stopped and looked at the mare all seriousness in her small smiling face, "i will like that..." she said slowly, "can i play with the foals when they come out?"

Frosta chuckles as she moves her muzzle toward Blaise once again nipping at her flank playfully. She stops as the filly turns around as she smiles widely at Frosta. "Of course! You will be their older 'sister' when they do come out, Blaise" She grins gently.

If smiles could get even brighter, the sun itself was shining from Blaise. She bubbled happily and leapt about, "sister sister sister sister sister" was all that could have been heard from her and the little alicorn bucked around in a circle, chasing after Frosta's tail.

Beaming, Blaise nuzzled against the side of Frosta, her own tail flicking wildly side to side. She now have a family....she thought to herself, a warm feeling glowing in her chest. "Mama frosta," she said shyly, unsure of the words.

Frosta smiles gently at her now adopted daughter before she nips at her flank. She chuckles lightly at Blaise's shyness when she called her "Mama Frosta" and she smiles gently. "You can just call me mama if you want to." She said to Blaise while she snuggles with Blaise. She slants her eyes as she thinks about her home in the mountains and wonders if Blaise is capable to survive in the cold weather. If not.. she is willing to move down to the forest near the mountains for Blaise's sake.

She nuzzled her new mother back, leaning against her slighty. Her eyes were dropping and her wings fluttering as Blaise felt the sweet wrappings of sleep overcoming her. An unbidden yawn escaped her as she blinked. "mama......sleepy..." she said quietly.

Frosta smiles gently as she notices that Blaise is getting tired. She turns her head toward a soft bed of a moss nearby so she nudges her new daughter toward the bed of the moss. "Go ahead and lay down. Rest your little head.." She mumurs before she sits down on the bed of the moss to show Blaise that its all right and she could snuggle up with Frosta.

Her thin legs folded up under her and she snuggled against the larger mare. Her own wings formed a soft feathery caccoon and the moss was soft and warm beneath their body heat. Blaise sighed happily and laid her head curled between her hooves. "nite nite mama.." she yawned.

One leg delicately twitched as she dreamt. In her mind, she was running alongside her new mother, their mane and tails streaming behind them. And then her mother disappeared and Blaise ran around scared, calling mama, mama....where did you go? The little filly woke up with a start, and started crying.

Frosta was sleeping and she felt her foals inside her belly kick which caused a smile to grace her muzzle. Her tail is wrapped around her adopted daughter's body in protective manner. She hears crying from her side and she opens her eyes with worried expression on her face. "Shh.. my dear Blaise.." She mumurs as she raises her head off the ground, nuzzling her daughter reassuringly. She assumes that Blaise had a nightmare so she just mumurs reassurances that she is here and will always be here no matter what. "Did you have a nightmare, sweetheart?" She says after her reassuring comments.

She sniffled, quieting her cries and nuzzling closer to Frosta. "I thought mama went away and left me alone..." Blaise said quietly, tears welling up in her bright eyes again. She didn't think it would hurt so bad, and she didn't like these dark scary dreams. The filly wanted dreams of flying and running and lots of apples. Laying down her head again, she sighed, unable to sleep.
