I agree with Kazuki and some others.
important is, how you like his music, his work as an artist in it's wholeness.
I mean, not his look makes the music or the lyrics.....sure, he looks really good, but with only that, no one of the "fans" would know him!
but I'm afraid that only a few know that for real.
there are so many people out there, who only want to look at him, talking about how hot he is.
for me as a fan for over 8 years, it's important to love his music and to support him wherever I can and with everything I can. THAT makes a real fan in my eyes!!

I actually heard his music first, and fell in love.
Then I looked at pictures, and was like, "Wow. No way."
I love his voice more than anything!
The way he can change it, with different pitches and all, is amazing.

Well, I kinda first saw Genesis while playing Crisis Core, thought he was cool, found out about Gackt in Wikipedia and thought"Wow. He looks like a video game charater.And he's an awesome singer.XD" Anyways, I guess that his looks could be a good advertising strategy but ... it's hard to control rabid fangirls LOL.
