Revon already knew his numbers. And writing wasn't too hard. "Ha.... he m-made sure I... I passed th-that." He stated in reply to the mentio of alphabets. He had been taught to write clearly before he was even shown his egg. Now Haruki was trying to teach him cursive. Which he was doing his best at. The curvies where a lot harder to understand though. Much harder than printing. "I... can p-print and wr-write a li-little cur-sive." He quickly stated, rubbing his sleeve slightly. He didn't want to boast, but that was what he knew.
"I l-learned to f-fly i-in a c-class with Mr. Or-pheus." He mumbled. It was a nice class really, they'd been patient with him. And he'd learned to use his wings for something other than hiding. Still he didn'tthink it was anything too special. The other birds knew how to fly didn't they?
He glanced at the skunk as he noticed him starring up, then tried to look up to see what he was watching. Nothing up there? Unless. OH! It took a moment for him to realize that perhaps it was the mess of flowers around his head. He had been crawling in the flowers... so maybe he liked them too? The boy reached up and carefully puled the ring of remant flowers loose from his hair before offering out to the other child. "You... you wa-wanna we-wear it?"

Fleur flipped one ear before drooping a little. "Don' know numbers yet..." he worried he was not learning fast enough for Stevie though she did not seem to mind. The only thing she openly did not approve of was his natural scent - she seemed content to let him take his time learning the alphabet and numbers so long as he didn't stink her out of the room while teaching him.
Fleur's eyes widened a little at the offered circle of flowers and leaned forward a little to peer at it more closely, intensely curious now. "H-How'd you put them together like that...?" he asked, fascinated. He only knew how to pluck them and tie them into a messy bouquet with a ribbon, but it did not seem as if Revon had used any ribbons.

"Who? Your dad?" Maybe the guy was better at teaching than Lucas? The poor photographer just didn't know what to do to help Canti with such basic learning, and Keiran had taken to throwing things at the ant when he got a letter wrong. Needless to say, some more work was going to have to be done. "Cursive. What is this 'cursive'?"
As the circlet was offered, the insect also leaned somewhat forward to peer at it. "Is it a raven power? Are we to be learning in your Or-fee-uhs class these?" Then he turned his head towards Fleur, smiling warmly. "It would look nice if the Flower were to be wearing them, if for momentary. Double good smellings, and would matching the colors Fluuhr already is wearing."

The boy began to nod at the mention of father. Yes, Haru had taught hi- he stopped suddenly and began shaking his head no violently. No, no. Haruki was not his father. Guardian. He was his guardian. "Ha i-is... he wa-watches m-me." He nodded at that, before lifting a hand to point toward the red-head. Who was reading his book in silence at the bench ignoring the area.
How on earth could D-Corp have left someone like that in charge of watching a child?
"C-cursive is f-fancy print."
He turned his attention back toward the flower crown after his slight mishap with the whole guardian bit and eyed the flower. "Y-you string th-em t-t... together." He replied, pointing to where one of the stems had been carefully split to allow him to stuff another stem through. "I-it isn't m-magic." He added, smiling at that. But it was still very pretty.

"Ohh..." Fleur drawled, even more fascinated now. He was not sure his little fingers could do that though, not without making a mess or tearing out the pretty petals anyway. "It's pretty," he stated, twitching his ears. He felt his face heat up at Canti's last comment, blushing though it was hard to tell through the black fur on his face, and he tried to instead focus on the other topic. "Dun know how to write yet...Bah says I should learn to read first." Bah was what he called Stevie. Neither was quite sure why - it just kind of slipped out the day they met when Stevie asked Fleur what he wanted to call her.

Nod nod... then no? Canti's second set of eyes scrunched closer together in confusion at the statement. "What is the difference being? You are in his house, yes? Is he to take care of you?" It was an innocent curiosity. He also had a man who didn't look like him taking care of him, and he still referred to him as his father. Or Lu. Now he looked towards Haruki, quietly noting the man and his contraption. Lucas often had one of those- a book. However, when Lucas read a book, it always seemed as if he was almost put to sleep by doing it. Odd..
"Fan-see, huh?" His antennae twitched at Fleur's statement, but he didn't quite look back yet. "I am knowing how to draw the letters, but I am not to know which to call them all!" He laughed softly at that, gradually sweeping his gaze back to the group. Yes, he could remember the pattern of a letter, but he couldn't always name them. It was something that Lucas was probably baffled over. Just like one could be able to draw a particular species of a spider and not know what to call it, that was how Canti was with letters. His guardian just didn't know it yet.
"I think I would be liking to meet these Ha and Bah very much." He finally said, nodding to himself. "Or we could get to the playing like my Lu has told me to do. What should we do?"

The boy nodded at the comment. The crowns were lovely, that's why he always made them. Or at least when he got to come outside. There weren't so many flowers around where he played, and Haruki didn't come to the park with him too often. So he made them when he could at least.
"H-ha... says g-got to kn-know both." He stated quietly. Then there came Canti's question. There was a difference. Obviously there was if Haruki was so insistant on it, so..? "A-apart-m-ment." They lived at D-corp, so it was a correction to the question about a house. "Yes." He finally stated to the final question, rubbing at his arm slightly. "B-but... guar-guardian. Not a f-father." He added while looking down again. He didn't want to get in trouble for making a mistake like that. It would be best not to do it again.
He only ganced up slightly as the topic went back to something a bit less... incriminating to him. The whole thing about writing. The best he could explain cursive was that it was fansy and loopy. The letters all flowers into one wavy mess. Unless you knew what the waves meant. Then it was writing. Haruki always wrote in cursive. So he had to learn to read it at least. Still, he didn't want to try talking about it much more. The fact he was learning something the other children hadn't heard of was going over boundaries. Best not to brag, or even sound like he was. "D-do you know th-the ABC s-song?" He'd learned that in one of the classes the Kat lady hat taught. It wasn't something he was supposed to use too much for remembering them by Haru's rules. But he still knew it none the less. And it might be helpful.
Then came the mention of meeting Ha or Bah. That brightened the raven up a bit. It meant he could meet new people while clinging to someone who could tell him if he messed up and was bad. So he'd know he didn't make a mistake. "W-we c-can meet Ha!" Revon had been told to make more friends not too long ago. So wouldn't his guardian be pleased if he drug some people over?

Fleur's ears went back a little at the thought of meeting yet another new person, but he did not say anything. He did not want his new acquaintences to think ill of him since he had just met them. He glanced over his shoulder at Stevie who had settled herself in the grass leaned up against a tree, staring out at the clouds as she daydreamed. Whatever she daydreamed about, she certainly did it a lot, not that it was any help to him right now.
"I-I guess we could go meet him..." Fleur stammered uncertainly. He supposed as long as he did not go too much farther, Stevie would not mind.

"Oh...kay." Still, the child did not understand. Perhaps he would ask Lucas later what the difference was and put the young man under some pressure. At mention of the song, his antennae lowered somewhat sheepishly. "Was taught, but could not be 'membering." No, he couldn't remember all of it quite yet, but it was simply something to be worked on.
At Revon's agreement with going to see his guardian, Canti seemed somewhat brightened and thrilled. If Revon was nice, why wouldn't his guardian be? Black eyes glanced to his own caretaker, who was currently laying flat on the grass and pointing his camera up into the trees above. Lu was always doing things like that, so it was no surprise. Then he looked at Fleur, again not quite sure if something wrong was happening. "Yeah! Let us be meeting your Ha, Revon." Then leaning a little closer towards Fleur, he hushed. "Is there something wronging you, Fluuhr? Have the monster come back?"

He noted the slight downfall in Fleur's expression at the mention of meeting his guardian. Most people liked to meet new people, but... Maybe he was like him? The thought did occure, but Canti's words as well as Fleur's less than enthusiastic agreement seemed to dash that fear for the time being.
So with a quick nod he plopped the flower crown he'd offered tot he skunk on the other child's head and was hurrying over to inform his parent of his new friends. It would take just a moment to do that.
"Ha!"
The man glanced up at the child in minor confusion. Was he done playing already? He'd wanted to come out to play to badly why..? Oh. There were two other children over where he'd been playing. So either this had to do with minor panic from messing up, or...?
"I-I made so-some friends. The-they wanted to mee-meet y-you."
Or he wanted to drag him into this mess. Well it wasn't as if he'd be free of running into the children forever. They where other D-Corp children. He'd only recently gotten ahold of the files to look at. Which meant he hadn't had a chance to read allof the details yet. What a bother. "Is that so?" There was no enthusiam in his voice to match with the young boy's. A quick nod from the raven confirmed the question and signaled that it was time to get up and meet the other children.
Revon was back far sooner than his keeper, who simply walked over while finishing up the last of the page he'd been on. Nevermind the fact that he'd read it before and could recite it verse for verse. He finished what he started.
"Th-this is Ha!"

Fleur squeaked and smiled, reaching up to adjust the flower circlet so it settled better on his head before he looked back up to watch Revon. This "Ha" person seemed about as enthusiastic to meet him and Canti as someone would be at the prospect of getting a root canal though that did not matter much to Fleur - he was still too young to understand the lack of enthusiasm. Besides, Stevie looked at him like that a lot though she was gradually warming up more to him.
"H-Hi," Fleur finally chanced speaking when Ha followed Revon back, raising a hand to wave timidly.

If Canti understood that Ha wasn't thrilled over the thought of meeting them, he certainly didn't show it, passing the man a smile even if he had his nose in his book. He was Revon's guardian, so that meant he had to be somewhat nice, right? And Lucas had always told him that he should 'treat others like you need something from them later'... or something like that. The ant had a mindful memorization problem if he couldn't write it down at this point, and he couldn't really write it down, either.
"Hello Ha! I am Canti, and this one is Floohr.." He offered, fighting off the shyness that often came with meeting new people and switching to the best sort of politeness he knew. "Look! Revon had made this! Are you having one too?" Well, he'd wanted to ask about the book, but it was probably something he would get confused over. Instead, he attempted to promote and show off Revon's -whom he flashed a smile- handiwork almost like it was his.

Snap. The book closed as he finished the page and looked up. Fleur, and Canti. Right. He knew their names already from the files, but it couldn't hurt to hear them again. "It's nice to meet you both." Bland, boring, and flat. He wasn't teaching a class, it wasn't as if he needed to entertain them. Besides, was it even in his contract to deal with the little kids..? Probably, D-Corp had a way of sneaking things in even if you were the type who read the fine print. "My name is Haruki Mitsu."
And that was it for introductions.
Revon beamed at the idea they were all getting along, especially when the crown he'd given to Fleur was brought up. Though that had turned the smile into something more shy as he ducked back a little. He liked making people happy, but getting compliments was always a bit akward. Still, he did take the mild nod of that Haruki gave the comment as a sign of approval and was pleased with himself. "I u-used so-me of the la-last flo-flowers." He commented quietly, clasping his hands behind his back.
Another brief nod noting it. Why was he part of this again? Still, he had to play the good caretaker. "So is that what you've all been doing? Learning to make flower crowns?" Revon had been making them for as long as he could recall, so it wasn't anything new. Still, he hadn't seen the bird trying to teach anyone before, which was a good thing.
Revon shook his head slightly at the question. "We w-were talking ab-about wr-writing and re-reading." And a bit about crowns and parents. Not so much though.
This statement did manage to catch the red-head a bit off guard. Was that really what children normally talked about? Revon certainly didn't bring up writing unless it was time to practice... "Is that so?" Well, at least it was something more useful than flower crowns.

Fleur tilted his ears back a little with a rather confused expression. Something about this man was very intimidating though he could not quite put his finger on what. He just assumed it was because this was really the first time he had met someone other than one of the other D-Corp children.
"B-Bah says I sh-should learn to read b-before I learn to w-write..." Fleur restated, figuring he might as well say something rather than stare stupidly up at Ha. Whoever "Bah" was, it was probably the lady on the other side of the clearing leaned against a tree and typing frantically on a laptop.

At Ha's question, the ant gave an enthusiastic nod. Whether or not he noticed that the man carried some sort of foreboding air to him, it wasn't apparent. "And I am not to be knowing their look after, but if I am to trace I know what letter they are being. Revon says he is learning cursive!" At Fleur's statement, Canti's expression turned curious. "Lucas is having me to write letters first and learning sounds. What are you thinking is right, Ha?" He asked the redhead, perfectly content talking to the man. He'd be telling his guardian the answer if Ha voiced his opinion on the matter. And if he hadn't know whose guardian was which, he should now. Lucas was the mousy teenager attempting to scale a tree for a good picture of a bird he'd recently spotted. Their difference in gender should have been some sort of hint.
