Raven is dark, scary, and hot. most definetly hot. plus the fact that she can kick the crap out of any other character on TT if she trained on making her powers stronger and not just keeping them in check.

Thats True but also its cause shes afraid of her powers

You don't get scared? Everyone is afraid of something.

As for the question, Raven is both dark and frightening, but she is more dark than anything else. She can be scary at times, mostly when she shows that she fights and shows a display of rage and power. In Spellbound when she used the dark magic on the heart monster, and in The End of the World thing where she beat up Slade really bad and made the rest of the Titans a bit afraid of her, she was scary.

But for the most part she is dark, misunderstood, and it's the way she is. She can't really help it because she needs to keep her emotions, including love and happiness, in check, or horible things could happen.

I don't think that she's really either . . . but if I had to pick one it'd be dark. I think that all of her inner selves are hilarious. n.n

Raven's dark. And she caought onto Malchor teaching her Dark powers towards the end of "SPELLBOUND". Besides I can somewhat understand her now. Raven is a KICK a** character and just misunderstood most of thew time.

hes right she is misunderstood and she like me she kicks a** and deep down inside she might be evil but sehs not scary

I agree that Raven is just dark. She went through a lot considering her crazy evil father. It is no surprised that she has shut herself off from the outside world, particulary to keep her enourmous power under control. There are plenty of good dark heroes, Batman comes to mind.

Bruce Wayne, Batman, suffered from depression and lack of love. Throughout the movies, comics, cartoons, and other things, Batman was afraid to love anyone, because they might be put in danger. That drove him into depression.

Back on subject, Raven is dark. She has just shut everyone away in order to control her powers. Raven has a great character flaw, which makes her human, even if we cannot send things flying through the air and levitate.

That is one reason I like TT. Each character has a flaw.

Robin: He is WAY overconfident and cocky. Also, he cares so much about Starfire he often makes hasty jugements.

Starfire: She is naive about Earth. She also has a problem of showing WAY too much compassion.

BB: He is an outcast. No one on the cartoon series likes him except for the Titans.

Cyborg: His lack of confidence in himself made him weak in the first few seasons. Then he became WAY too confident, and now he thinks he is all-powerful.

Raven: She has shut everyone away, and has severe emotion issues. If she was real she would be sterotyped as 'Goth' or 'Emo'.

I agree, but being dark can also have its advatages. It can actually keep people in line and out of trouble but out of fear. Some people find darkness scary. So she could be considered either, depending on how one looks at her.
