Ankita blushed a little when she felt him sitting down beside her, and quickly placed her hands on her lap, fidgeting.
"I'm sure you look quite... pretty." she said playfully.
Sarava crawled over to the dresser once again, pulling out two small tea cups, one after the other, looking back to Charlot. The kettle squealed, and she began flicking her tail to signal him to come over. If you expect me to touch that, you're looking at the wrong Aye-Aye.
"Could you help her with that? There should be a rag to help pick up the kettle in the dresser where she got everything else out..."

"Hahaha... thanks. Oi don't believe oi've ever been called 'pretty' before." Charlot's attention snapped to the kettle as it went off.
"Oh, yeah sure-" He flicked the end of the sari over his shoulder, standing up again to go over and lift the tea pot from the burner. He raised an eyebrow at Sarava. "You want water in the cups first or the chai?"
He held the kettle, waiting patiently.

"Chai first, then water. It always seems easier that way." She wasn't quite sure why but that was always the way the seemed to help the tea leaves react faster.
Sarava ran around him in circles, watching him intently before making her way over to Ankita's lap.

"Ah, oi see." He added the chai, then poured the steaming water in on top. He carefully replaced the tea pot on the burner. He left the tea to react a little, wandering back over to sit beside Ankita and Sarava.
"It's doin' it's magic for a bit. Smells good, though."

Ankita smiled a little, trying to hide the grin that really wanted to appear.
"That's why I love tea, there's just something about it." She scratched her head for a moment, then began fidgeting again.
Sarava, if she could, would roll her eyes at her familiar. She wasn't quite sure if she loved the humour that came from the horrid display of nervousness that happened whenever Charlot was around, or if she should be worried. She hadn't seen Ankita act this way in a long time.

Charlot glanced at her sidelong, noticing her little fidgets. He thought a moment, then jumped up. "Oh, that reminds me. I made you some cards."
He wandered over to his jacket, fishing out the deck of cards he'd gotten and 'edited' for her. He returned to the chaise, sitting so he could face toward her.
"Oi figured this would be an easy way t'learn-" He took out one of the cards, placing it out into her hand. It was a three of diamonds. He'd taken a knife and carefully cut out the diamond shape in it, and added three little poke marks.
"We can't play poker, but there's a lot o'other games w'can play in th'mean time. Oi'm still figurin out th'poker deck."
He offered her the rest of the deck, moving to collect and stir the chai again. "D'you need me t'add anything to this..?"

Ankita gasped a very loud and affectionate gasp, and that large grin that had been waiting to appear for so long, finally came out, in fact, she squealed a little in joy.
"This... this is so sweet!" She held the cards very close to her, and extending her arms out infront of her to wrap them around him, she felt her hand accidently hitting him, in what was presumably his face.
"Oh! Oh my..!" she quickly pulled back her hands in embarassment and began to blush that despite her dark complexion, it showed quite blatantly. "I'm so sorry! Are you okay?!"
Sarava simply watched, laughing in her own nature, making quiet coos and covering her face at the moment in embarassment for her familiar.

Almost, but not quite. Charlot winced a little, not so much at being hit- but at missing the opportunity for a hug. He glanced at Sarava, hearing her little animal chortle at his expense.
"Eh, no 'ard feelins..." He replied to her, looking back at her blushing face with a little smile. "Y'didn't deck me or anyfin'... just a little tap on th'face."
"If anythin', next time oi'll be a little quicker, hmm?"

Ankita frowned at her own incapability at doing something as simple as a hug. She lowered her face and began to whimper quietly.
"Well... maybe you should initiate it next time... since your depther perception is probably a bit better than mine?" She laughed nervously in hopes of being able to weasle a hug out of the moment still, even if it was out of sympathy.

"Tsk, don't worry 'bout it." Charlot shifted forward, reaching a hand out to touch the side of her face. It let her know he was closer as his other arm wrapped around Ankita in a hug.
Charlot turned his face a little, voice amused beside her ear. "A little bit better, oi think."

Ankita's initial reaction was gasping and holding her breath. She liked to receive affection, but since it occured so far and few between, it always caused an initial shock, even if she had been hoping and asked for it.
It took a moment before she wrapped her arms around him since she was heavily distracted to the fierce heat coming from her face. She smiled and nodded enthusiasticly.
"It's quite a bit better." she said quietly.
At this point, Sarava had her head cocked. These newbies are quite confusing. Piss on 'em, you get a treat. Slap 'em, you get a hug. I think I might actually like this new batch.

Charlot smirked to himself, enjoying the way she smelled for a few moments before he released her, sitting back so he could retrieve the cups of chai. He took her hand and made sure she had hers before taking his- not wanting her to reach out and smack the cup out of his hand and cover him in hot chai. Ooooh that wouldn't be fun at all.
Once he figured she had it, he went back to his cup and flashed Sarava a wink. The little creature was sitting on the floor watching them like she wasn't sure wtf was going on... or maybe she was plotting- hard to tell with that one.
"Y'make a nice cup o'chai, Sarava."

Ankita cleared her throat after being lost in the moment, long after he let go and began rubbing her face in hopes of making the blood rush elsewhere. When she finally took the tea cup, her hands were shaking slightly in both joy and nervousness and she finally took a sip.
"Yes, Sarava.. thank you.." her voice was quiet and equally shakey.
Sarava's tail flicked before she decided to crawl back to her bag of berries, carrying it over to the bed and sitting. She picked at them one by one and watched them in complete entertainment as if she were to be viewing a movie.

Charlot watched as Sarava made her way up to her little hammock, then turned his attention back to Ankita. She looked a little... flustered. He drank a bit more of his tea- not a lot, mind you... it was BURNING.
"So, y'mentioned you'd met a few more pe'ple t'day? 'ow'd that go? Oi've met a 'andful of th'new performers an oi'm a little worried about me own show.. they're a lot of talent 'ere."

Ankita nodded, taking little sips at a time.
"I met a girl... who I think was the first person Sarava hadn't attacked out right... and a boy, who sarava peed on and then he gave her a treat later in peace... then a little girl who claimed to be sixteen but I'm still sure she's no older than 10." Ankita paused for a moment. That still made no sense but she didn't really want to fixate on that. "I'm sure you have nothing to worry about..." She turned her head slightly in his direction. "I'm sure with plenty of practice you can just blow everyone away.." her voice trailed off. Wow, am I gushing over you or what? she thought to herself.
