Sakura felt almost hurt when Hinata answered her question, but her hopes were brought up again when the other girl mentioned that there was someone.
"Oh yeah.... Who?" She asked. "If you dont mind my asking, that is..." She felt a little foolish as she'd almost forgotten the others' timidness in confessing her feelings. Just thinking about that reminded her of the other girls' crush on Naruto...
Naruto... that's right... You've always liked him... She thought, staring at the floor.

Hinata fiddled with her fingers a little more, biting her lower lip. "W-well...I've been hanging out with this person a lot." She managed to utter, feeling another blush rise against her cheeks.

Sakura bit her lip slightly. Naruto hasnt exactly been around, lately, but I'm sure she see's him at least once a day... she thought. "Oh, yeah?" She asked, hiding the bit of despair in her heart. "I'm sure they're very lucky, than..." She looked up and gave a small smile to Hinata before looking back to the floor. She hadnt noticed the blush on the other girls' cheeks.

Hinata took a deep breath, trying again. "We train a lot together, as well." Her cheeks grew slightly redder, or well darker red.

She trains with... Wait. She doesnt train with Naruto. She trains with... Sakura's cheeks brightened a bit as she glanced up back at Hinata. "Hinata-...chan?" She murmered, her eyes wide with suprise. She suddenly felt happy... for herself, and for the other girl. "You've... become braver..." She murmered, smiling slightly as she reached up slowly and rested her hand on Hinata's cheek, gently brushing back some hair that had fallen in her face.

Hinata's gaze gell onto the green eyes, "S-Sakura-chan, it's because I've been hanging around you, don't you know that?" She smiled weakly, resting her own hand atop of the one that laid on her soft cheek.

Sakura gave a slight chuckle at that, blushing a bit more. "You really think that?" She asked softly, shifting her hand to hold Hinata's gently. "Then, we should hang out more!" She grinned. "So that way, you wont have to be afraid of anything!" She giggled slightly at that.

Hinata squeezed the hand that held her own, smiling. "I'd like that, Sakura-chan." She blinked a few times, trying to make sure this wasn't dream without the pain.

"I'm glad, Hinata-kun." Sakura replied, smiling more. She removed her other hand from under the blanket and rested it against the other side of the other girls' cheek, leaving it there. "Because... I like you, too...." Her eyes settled into looking into Hinata's, happiness resting there as her cheeks remained a pinkish tinge.

Hinata's white eyes gazed into Sakura's own, green ones, almost in a daze. She couldn't even blink, feeling as if her life was like clouds parting to let the sunshine through. "R-really?" She managed to choke out, feeling happy, yet confused.

"Yeah..." Sakura murmered. She gave Hinata's hand a squeeze. "When we started training... I found that there was alot of things I liked about you... things I couldnt find in anyone else..." She gave a soft chuckle. "I bet that sounds a little silly, hmm?" She asked.

Hinata held Sakura's hand tightly, smiling shyly. "T-then we're both silly...because I found the same in you...Sakura-chan." She whispered softly, gulping a bearly audiable gulp as she scooted closer to the pink haired woman.

Sakura's smile widened a bit more, and she scooted the rest of the gap between them, letting go of Hinata's hand for a moment to open up the blanket wrapped around her, and wrapping half around the other girl. Arm now wrapped gently around the other Leaf-nin, she pulled her ever-so-slightly towards her, always watching to make sure she wasnt making Hinata do something she didnt want to. "I can be silly, then... if you're silly with me." She murmered, blushing more.
