Her ears fell and she looked at her lap. She toyed with oneka a bit more

Tomo shook his head and kissed her forehead. "Silly Uka." He murmured, "You're only a bother when you say things like that. It's not a bother to protect your family. It's something I want to do."

"But you knew something was rong.. and now you have chains on you" she said quietly her ears still fallen and she looked upset.
"An it's because i didn't figure out that somethign was going on and stayed here where it was safe..

Tomo shrugged, "To be honest, I was a bit curious, myself." He said, laughing, "I didn't want you to miss out on something cool if it was just a case of me being paranoid... And the chains don't hurt as much, now that I'm still. I'll figure out a way to get them off."

"Do you really mean i can sleep with you tonight onii san?" She asked quietly as she touched the chains trying to figureo ut a way to get them off of him
"Won't your wife be upset?" she asked

Tomo sighed, "Have you heard of a child going into their parents' bed after they had a nightmare?" He asked. "It's a lot like that. I'm doing it to protect you because you're my little sis," He smiled a bit, "If it will make you feel better, you can sleep in the chair beside the bed. I just want to be in the same room, so if that jerk comes, I'll know."

"I would stay with Vincent but.. He's gone to sleep agian and hasen't woken up " she saidquietly tohim still tugging on the chain on his metal wrist trying to get it to budge.
"I didn't want to bother you both. " she added toying more with the chain.

Tomo chuckled and blushed a little, "Well, maybe we could do to calm down a night or two. The poor bed needs a rest." He replied, pulling a little at the neck shackle. It fit okay, but it was just tight enough that it was uncomfortable.

"If you say so onii san" she said innosently as she toyed with the shackle trying to pull it off or apart this way and that.

((Yippee! I'm in.. IN celebration, I will now write in italics for my regular posts...))
The worn wooden stairs creaked and groaned in their own squeaky way, as Ellie's ears twitched pleasantly to the familiar sound. The jeans and sweater assured her some protection against the biting cold; and then again, the roaring fire helped some bit, too. The cascading heap of her long raven blue-black hair was pulled into a tie at the crown of her head, and bobbed lightly with each step towards her next cup of tea. After retrieving the sought after cup, she walked to sit down on a cushy looking couch, and sighed deeply. It was almost time for Christmas: Round One, or, Thanksgiving.
