"I don't see how you can eat so much so early in the morning", Jade said, poking at the small bowl of corn flakes in front of her. "Anyways, I think I'm gonna wander around until Transfigurations starts."
With one more small bite of cereal, jade stood up with her bag and left to wander around the halls and grounds.

Kagumi snorted into her rice bowl. "I don't see how she can eat so little. People wonder why I can stay slender and eat so much. But they look at her and think, 'Oh, Jade easts so little!'"

With most of her time spent eating here and there, but mainly laughing and joking around with friends, Kagumi stood up and grabbed her bag.
"Aww, Gumi! Leaving so soon! We've got another hour before classes start!" came the complaints from her friends.
Kagumi shook her head and waved to them as she crossed the Great Hall, clutching the mail from her mother and father. Not paying attention to where her feet were going, seeing as she was reading her mail, Kagumi managed to bump into someone who did not want see her right then: Draco Malfoy.
"Watch where you're going, you bloody Yank! Don't soil my robes, I just got them cleaned." he snarled at her.
"Chill, Blondie. I'm just going to find my sister." Kagumi threw her hands up in a "Weaponless" gesture and eased her way behind him, tossing a Sticky Stink Stick to his back as she went. She snickered as she looked back and saw the little puffs of horrible smelling steam emitting from the lower half of his cloak. She downright burst into laughter as his Slytherin friends began gagging and he whipped his head around screaming "What?! What is wrong with you?!" Her grin faded, however, as he turned around and saw her doubled over, laughing. The evil look on his face was enough to make her sweat a bit and she turned around quickly and strode out into the Entrance Hall to begin her search for her sister, keeping a sense out for malice from behind.

As Jade couldn't find anybody worth talking to, she went to the library and sat at one of the tables facing the doors. Just then Madame Pince strode past her and sat at the front desk that was adjacent to Jade's table. She sat there for a few minutes until she saw Harry walk past, then she flung her bag on her back and followed him, stealthily, to wherever he was going.
She followed him all the way to McGonagall's office. She watched him go inside and to make it seem as though she wasn't there because she was following someone, she sat on the base of a nearby suit of armor and began reading a story that she had written the year before.

Slightly out of breath, Kagumi wandered around the Fourth Floor, muttering to herself. "It's not fair! First years should be able to have their own brooms! That way I wouldn't have to break into the Quidditch reserves!" After opening the lock on the old Quidditch brooms, Kagumi had silently flown around the school grounds looking for her sister, trying desperately to stay out of trouble and out of sight. Because her long blue-black hair would have been a practical flag flying out behind her at the speeds she was pushing the broom, she hovered for a moment and cast a charm to French Braid her hair. When the deed was done, she had begun flying again as fast as she could push the broom.
Sept. 2, 8:20 am, First Floor
"Where could she be?!"
Kagumi rounded the corner, only to find her sister sitting at the base of a suit of armor. Crossing her arms and tapping her foot, Kagumi whistled for Jade's attention.

Jade continued to sit at the base of the suit of armor, oblivious to the fact that Gumi was trying to get her attention.

After waiting for five minutes for Jade to notice her, Kagumi strolled over and put her hand on the pages of her twin's book.
"Look at me."

Just as Jade looked up at Gumi, she heard the door of McGonagall's office open. She quickly yanked her sister down next to her and quickly started to explain something in the story she was reading. "See? They went down to the river, then to the waterfall, they go to the cabin afterwards."
Harry glanced at them as he walked passed and as soon as he was out of sight, Jade gave a relieved sigh.

Kagumi rubbed her arm as soon as Harry was out of sight. She angrily glared at Jade.
"What the heck did you do that for? What is going on?! You tell me and you tell me now. I know that you were following him, you had to be. So what's the story?"

"There is no story, and besides, I wasn't following him, I just happened to be going the same way he was", Jade said simply, then got up and walked away.

Kagumi follows her sister, whispering in her ear as she passed.
"You'll have to tell me eventually...We're in all the same classes together until Third Year....So you'll eventually crack."
Kagumi smirked at her sister as she ran ahead and caught up with Harry.
"Hey Harry. How is your day so far?" She asked, throwing a smirking glance over her shoulder at her sister.

Jade took out her Onyx wand with blue-silver handle, pointed it at Gumi's feet and she fell into a closet when Harry wasn't looking.
She took her sister's place at Harry's side.
"It's ok, so far. Once classes start then we'll see how the day ends up", he said and gave Jade a slight smile, which made her blush slightly.
"I know what you mean", she said, trying not to giggle like a fan-girl. "Classes can get kinda hard. Or, at least, that's what I've been told."

Kagumi begins banging on the closet door when she can hear Harry's voice.
"Hey, Harry? Can you let me out?! PLEASE?! I think I'm in the Broom Closet!"
Harry looks at Jade questioningly and walks over to the Broom Closet where Kagumi is trapped. Opening the door, he picks a cobweb off of her shoulder and walks away shaking his head and muttering to himself, "First Years can be SO weird."
Kagumi runs after him. "Hey, I'm sorry about that, my sister tripped me. I'm not normally that clumsy, but thanks for letting me out. Hope you have a nice day!" Kagumi kisses his cheek for letting her out of the closet and runs off into a side passage to wait for Jade's wrath, slightly smiling to herself with a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach.

Gumi looked up from the floor only to look into the face of her sister, who's eyes were flame red. Gumi knew what was going to happen, but before she could budge, Jade had taken away her wand and shunken her to the size of a Barbie doll and put her in her outside cloak pocket.

Sept. 2, 8:29 am Jade's Cloak Pocket
Kagumi huffed and puffed and finally settled in for a nice cozy nap in a warm pocket. She had to yell to be heard, but finally made her sister hear her.
"WHEN AM I GOING TO BE RETURNED TO MY PROPER SIZE?"
Kagumi burried her face in her hands as a heated blush came from the thought that she had just kissed Harry Potter on the cheek. And then she sneezed.
"YOU HAVE STUFF IN HERE, YA KNOW!"
Jade felt a scrabbling in her pocket as Kagumi doubled over like a contortionist and began throwing junk out of Jade's pocket. Lint, fluff, four Drooble's Best Blowing Gum wrappers and a Chocolate Frog package all came sailing right towards Jade's face.
"HEY, YA STILL GOT A PIECE OF GUM IN HERE!"
Kagumi unwrapped the large piece of gum and bit a little over a quarter of it off and chewed it in her now-tiny mouth as Jade walked.
"I'M GLAD YOU SHRUNK MY BAG WITH ME AS WELL! I HAVE A NICE LITTLE BOOK TO READ, AS WELL AS MY BOOK LIGHT SINCE IT'S SO DARK AND STUFFY!'
Kagumi did indeed take out a book and her light and began reading it. On second thought, she wondered if she should tell Jade about Draco and the incident this morning.
'HEY SIS? BE CAREFUL IF YOU RUN ACROSS MALFOY, OKAY? DON'T TELL HIM I'M IN HERE!"

On her way to Charms class, Jade kept shaking her cloak as to jostel Gumi around in her pocket to silence her.
She had just rounded a corner and ran into none other than, Draco Malfoy.
"Watch it, would ya!", he yelled. "Damn Yanks! Always running into stuff!"
"It's my fault you don't watch where you are going", Jade said in a tone of retaliation.
Before He could say anything, she had walked down the hall and up to the Third floor.
Sept. 2, 8:37am, Third Floor
Jade sat down in the currently empty Charms classroom and took Gumi out of her cloak pocket and stood her on the table she was sitting at.
