Ugu's sword twitched and was at his aid within a moment's notice. The wooden sword halted the stab with the blunt side of its flat edge. It stopped Kenosha's jab with its precise block and Ugu quickly readied to be attacked again. As he brought himself back into a defensie position his eyes would soon wander to the new person in the dojo.

"Name?" the teacher asked as his eyes went to Tsai.

I jumped back away from the Sensei and held a position, just waiting for the sensei to give me a different signal. He was an expert and far faster than I at defending and attacking.

"Tsai Lin sir, my deepest apologies for being late," he said as he bowed slightly while standing up. "I'm going to get punished, damnit, I should of ran faster," he thought.

"Tsai. Go get yourself a bokken," Ugu pointed at the far off wall, where there were several small wooden sticks piled against it. "Once you get one that you like, feel free to come at me with it. Don't worry about my safety." His eyes then returned to Kenosha, whom seemed to have backed off.
"Kenosha.." Ugu sighed. "We'll need to work on your attacking 'vigor'. Your blows have no fighting edge to them." He sighed, again, as he looked at the student. "Your blows do have precision, and the like, but I believe your holding back too much to let it shine."
The shinigami began to walk toward Kenosha. He readied his stick so that the small bokken be between himself and his student. "Remember: my zanpakutou is a healing type. You shouldn't be worried about getting hurt... You, also, shouldn't worry about hurting me. So you may feel free to try out things you normall wouldn't mid-battle." Ugu smiled, then, as he stared at Kenosha. With his light lime green eyes the teacher awaited his students' moves.

Tsai moved to the wall. His muscles still continued to ache from his previous training he had done by himself. He grabbed a bokken, it seemed rather sturdy and looked at his sensei.
He held the bokken low and took a deep breath. "I should try going at him from the side first.." he muttered to himself as he ran sideways to get to his sensei's rear, then he charged with the bokken over his head. When they were at arm-length, Tsai swung the bokken downwards using his arm and wrist as the power source. It seemed his own training did help him a bit with his power.
However, even with this he was still pretty weak for the average shinigami. His intelligence and reiatsu took place of physical strength and endurance.

I wrinkled my nose in annoyance. If I was hardly even a bother...there was just no way I was going to be able to beat him, not at this level.
"Fine," I said, "But I'll leave you to fight the new student for now." I jumped back away from the commotion that had just started and walked over to a dummy. I couldn't put any force behind me because I didn't have the strength to put it behind me....I sighed. I was useless to him.
I sat at the sidelines and began to watch, I was little more than a bug...

Ugu turned to his his to his left, and watched as his opponent moved. Before Ugu knew it he'd find himself being attacked from behind. However, as Tsai made way toward the teacher's side, Ugu turned abruptly turn. His massive hands swished the small stick upwards to block the oncoming strike.
[Dodge: +40]
A small 'thwack' came from the collision of the two bokken and Tsai's attack was blocked. "Tsai." Ugu sighed, then, as he felt the weakness behind Tsai's downward cut. "I want you to spar with Kenosha. Right now you both need to work on your strength."
"Both of you should be at about the same level, and you'll most probably learn a lot from Kenosha." Ugu's green orbs went straight to Tsai, and held firm to stare into the student's eyes. "He's a graduate of the academy so be respectful."

"Yes Sensei" he said as he lowered his bokken and turned around and looked at Kenosha. "Kenosha-sama, ready when you are" he said bowing down slightly his bokken to his side.
He waited for the signal to begin, until then he stood still.

(What the...what exactly can he learn from me?)
"Hai, Sensei," I said calmly and stood up, "I hope you are a good fighter." I bowed slowly and came back up, bringing the bokken up to my chest horizontally. I placed both hands on the hilt and made a short slash to my right. Then I charged forwards.

(It's not what he can learn from you, Kenosha, but what he can learn by fighting somone who has 'experienced' more in Soul Society. :Heart smile
Ugu slid the wooden stick into his belt. It rested on his right hip, opposite of his zanpakutou. His eyes went to the two shinigami, whom seemed to have started their spar. Ugu's eyes went to both of their styles, seeing the small insignificant flaws in their stances. However, as he looked on, he saw that the two students did have some 'common' sense about fighting.
"Good start, Kenosha," Ugu said, without a hint of sarcasm," but you still need to work on your accuracy. Tsai is prob-" He stopped, then, as he continued to watch the spar.

Tsai reacted quickly and rolled to the side attempting to down the incoming attack from Kenosha. He was indeed more experienced than Tsai, he would have to take this spar slowly to let the information sink in.

Tsai had dodged the attack and had gotten back up. He held his bokken infront of him and watched carefully. He started hopping in place and waited.
Then all of a sudden, Tsai charged at Kenosha with his bokken ready for a slash when he had reached close proximity.

"...faster," I completed, "Yes I know." I returned the sarcasm as I watched him come with an almost Iaijutsu style attack. I twacked the bokke on the ground as I launched myself up above him in a spin.
1d20+14 = Dodge Roll
(I don't think I need to roll...)
