Jass bahvanta damn it! The parents could at least have waited just untill the kid had a little bit more say in his future...maybe they could have waited untill he could have made up his mind to do what he wanted..Imagine that being all you know- all his life hes been a body builder he knows not how being a normal kid growing up feels like. he repeats "we must strengthen america" like a drone, has millions of pictures of him in Dungeons and Dragons-esque poses and worships his Father. oO ...wtf?

actually one of my instructors, carbone, started training his kid really young. it wasn't at age 2 or anything but by the time the kid was around 9 or 10 he could seriously colapse a grown body builder by striking them in the stomach. he became so strong physically for his age and build that there was a point where he would punch as hard as he could and it would be painful for him. they took him to a doctor and basically the bones and joints were being pulled apart by the sheer strength of his muscles contracting all at once when he struck something. they promptly stopped and resumed much later on much slower but to think he was physically damaging his own body just by throwing a punch.

Thats a problem alot of boxers get that aren't supervised enough, he obviously wasn't taught correct technique, sorry, but punching is all about the management of body weight and application over varying distances, yes you'll hurt from contact no matter how good the technique but when the pain is of that level its through either malnutrition or poor technique. Jeez guys this is common knowledge stuff stare

OMG, that's...completely insane. I know he's going to have problems in the future be it mental or physical.
And why does he have dancing videos up?! They're not even that good, lol.

For highschool physics nerds, like myself.

Yes, I remember hearing and reading up on this kid a long while back. I ran into someone who met supposedly the kid and his parents, and he said that Richard is a very nice and dedicated kid. His parents don't force anything on him. Also, his training regime is in moderation. The most contributing factor to his physique, aside from the gymnastic-stylized workout regime he does... is his diet. His parents are very cautious in making sure he eats the proper foods, and also give him nutritional supplements that aid in his development.
Reall, many young gymnists have similar attributes to Richard's. Maybe not as much muscular definition, but I'm near positive that if I took a hand full of junior gymnists, that they would produce near the same results when talking about techniques... given the right amount of training.

Jeez guys this is common knowledge stuff stare Jass hit the point on the money. Even if the muscles were OVER developed... as in beyond humanly possible, you STILL wouldn't damage yourself to the point of pulling apart your skeletal structure or whatever was mentioned. Granted, if the kid learned how to generate THAT much power (which I don't buy, but for the sake of the discussion, I'll go along with it), he MUST have learned the correct technique in order to do so. Meaning that his bones would have been strengthened at that age... and his body would have accumilated enough stress over time, to be able to handle it, without doing damage. I mean honestly, kids in Thailand train MUCH harder than most boxers and from a much younger age. Even they don't harm themselves performing techniques... unless they are just using bad form/bad technique.
