Martian manhunter loves oreos. This question is getting a little to repetitive for my liking. I think that Clark was being mean when he totally brushed off Chloe though. Blah blah blah, he can do things I could only imagine. Come on! You have the ability to fly...you're just too much of a wuss to do so. stare Another thing I thought was stupid was that Chloe could just download all of Lex's files and find out his password in like a second. For some major billionare, you really let up on your PERSONAL laptop. Kristen's performance as great though. She was actually crying!

I didn't like this episode all that much..It was kinda boring. And why would they let Clark in on the crime site. You could obviously tell by his clothes that he didn't belong there.. Clark should of done a better job at disguising. And I agree. Its silly that Clark doesn't tell Chloe things. Rage and reunion still remain my favorite episode.

EDIT: I also thought that Martian Manhunter's screen time was too short. crying

The episode made me sick…
I had to struggle to find any good in it.
I DID like Lionel’s retort to Chloe stereotyping Level 33.1 as “Meteor Freak central”! Go you Old b*****d! Show them you still have it! twisted
And I could have sworn that the name of the show was Smallville, not Lanaville, not Lexanaville, not Dramaville either.
There is no freaking continuity in the damn show! Lana isn’t sure of Lex, then she is, then wham, she loves the bald-headed freak? And Lex loves her too? Bullshit. Complete BS. Lex loves power. Take a seat over there with Helen, Lana. Get to know her well. Real well.
There are other points about the episode that brought it down even more…
Really, if this is what Season Six has to offer, then the writers/producers shouldn’t be scratching their heads going “what the hell” as to why Smallville’s ratings are going down…
On a side note, Heroes’ newest episode, “Homecoming”, is coming up this Monday! Can’t wait!

She’s the one for him…?
Um, no.
If Lex has known for so long and knows she’s the one for him, then wouldn’t he also know of her lil sex romp with Clark? And how it went downhill after that? Wouldn’t he also know that Lana is a whiny child?
Ex:
“Clark, kiss me,”
Clark: *Kisses her quickly and goes back to studying*
Lana: “Clark, what am I? Your cousin? Really kiss me”
Even in the earlier seasons she went all wonky eyed whenever she saw Clark with another girl…
In Lexmas, Lex made the decision to go after power. He saw that Lana would die in childbirth, so he wanted power to avoid it. There are other ways that grim—but in my opinion very, very likable—future could have been avoided. But he opted for power—what does that say about his character?
Supremacy first, love second.
And I really do doubt she feels the same way—wait, no she does actually. But what I mean is if you look at it as a whole, then there is no way she could love him. Her feelings/reactions have been so erratic, so messed up that her sudden shifts from “I’m afraid of you Baldy” to “Let’s have sex in our costumes” to “I’m pregnant, Rich Fool” are completely non-surprising.
Really, if you were her, with the way Lex has been treating her—which is now you—would you be so quick to assume that your feelings are true instead of the probable results of large amounts of wine/bourbon you’ve been chugging to drown yourself, to escape from the chilling world that is Luthor?
I’d like to think it’s real love, but in my opinion, it ain’t. Not by a long shot, it ain’t. It’s a means to an end: the baby will die, Lex will go evil, Lana will sob, they’ll go their separate ways.
Hopefully.
*Grabs a ice cold bottle of Pepsi*
For Christmas, I wanna see the death of the mockery that Lexana proposes!

It’s episodes like this that make me wonder why I continue to watch Smallville.
True, Clark has taken the first steps to his destiny—but it’s been six f*cking seasons, COME ON!
He’s gone from baby to adolescence to idiot and back again. One episode he’s mature, the next, he ain’t.
And I think he was right about what he did to Chloe. I doubt she would want to know about what that freak was capable of. Would you like to hear your friend recount having to see white plastic bags shifting as the spineless remains of men and woman slosh within? Or perhaps you’d rather hear of how a handprint/scorpion symbol was seared into the back of a criminal? “What’ll it be, mam? Door number one or door number two? I assure you, they’re both equally shocking.”
But it is true that heroes need to be saved sometimes as well—which reminds me of what Mary Jane said to Peter in the S3 trailer! That’s a must watch movie!
In the episode, Clark was a guest star. The main character of the flippin show was a guest star. Sad really.
The basis upon which Lex and Lana’s relationship is built upon is so ridiculous and shaky that at any moment it could crumble—“watch out below!”—but it won’t. Want to know why it won’t? Because Lana is untouchable.
Yes, the woman who was stabbed with a knife thingy by Zod and walked away to go commit attempted murder, yes, she is untouchable. People are saying they haven’t seen Wonder Woman on Smallville yet? Well, here’s a clue: the real identity of the heroine is Lana “Sl*t” Lang”.
And I am right in my view of Lana. Look at how she so arrogantly abuses Clark—“I don’t know how I could have ever loved you”—but gets so mad and sad and b*tchy when others spazz on her.
Lexana has no purpose other than to disgust the viewers and hopefully as a final push for Lex to embrace his darkness.
But really, at this point, I could care less about him: if he keeps Lana away from Clark, thus leaving him free from her "tentacles of oppression", then I’m all for it. But no more lies, really.
...
This is not aimed at anyone, mind you. Just a general rant, ya know. Ho hum.

If he didn't take the knife into the other frequency, then that's a director mistake right there. A pretty big and stupid one.

And accurate ones at that.
Heh, Lexana disturbs my soul, spirit, body, mind and any other part of me that I haven't mentioned yet. --sigh-- Time to focus on Lollie and Chimmy and be happy, while silently enduring the torment of other forbidden couples. Don't worry, Mionel is right up there on the 'hate list' with Lexana, but Lexana still has the #1 spot. burning_eyes

Anyways... This episode was ok. But kind of a dissapointment. It mainly focused on Lex and Lana. I thought this show was about Clark? Though don't get me wrong I love this show.

With all the crap going on in Lana's disfunctional life, you can't really blame her for loving Lex blindly...fine you can. I do agree that she will probably lose the baby and Lex will become trully evil.
I hated that Clark was soo easily taken advantage of. I mean don't you have superspeed? Superhearing? Learn to fricken use them. Again, you CAN fly. Would you like some cheese with that whine clark? cheese_whine Either way, I enjoyed the episode for the reason everyone else hated it. But I'm not alone on that so meh.
I knew Chloe's line about even heroes need to be saved was from somewhere.
I can understand how this episode would be the last straw for a lot of watchers. Clark was in this episode for about as long as Cyclops was in X3. Batista wasn't in the episode for more then a few very very short scenes and Martian Manhunter had oreos and red eyes. Nothing else. The revealation about level 33.1 was okay but we're still left hanging.
Guess we will have to wait til Dec. 7th for the next episode. And 2007 to see the answer to the proposal... not that anyone here cares for that part.
