"I had a mortal love, and a mortal family, but we were all sealed together in the earth, they died, and I've spent the Gods only know how long waiting and digging to be free..they all died..and that's why I hate them," she huffed unhappily, why had she not seen that before? Would she still be so rude to mortals..? Yes..undoubtably, yes.
Thoughts of the world being a horrible and misguided place crossed her mind..but if it was then the rocks and the roots would speak differently, and they spoke passively and wonderfully.
"That eye..is well...creepy...how did you change..? What happened, what changed?"

Athrun's paw rested on the Eye of Horus in the center of the black blindfold, covering it so that he could no longer see the world around him. He'd been told before it was strange and creepy, but what could he do? It helped him to see.
"They were slaughtered for reasons still unknown to me, by those that at one time I called friend shoved me down and pinned me so I was forced to watch but unable to save those I loved. And to make matters worse I was shoved deep into a hundred year sleep so I couldn't retaliate... so even if one managed to live then I had no hope of helping them." Athrun gazed down at his paws for a long time. "The eye helps me see, I woke up to find blood running over the ground that wasn't really there. Ever since I've had this blindfold to keep myself from seeing with anything but my heart." ninja

"That is horrible, it seems we have suffered quite similar fates, but I know the reasons for their deaths.." she couldn't tell, not yet..she had shared so much with him, but not that, "I am sorry for your losses, and wish I could help. You do not need to cover your eye, it was just so different to see it roll towards me..."
Withouth thinking she leaned forward and licked his cheek, a small sorry for what she had said to him, she never meant to hurt this new friend's feelings.
"I can hear the earth speak, but I cannot see with my heart, that is truely remarkable," she whispered to him and then backed away slightly.

Blinking behind the blindfold as a light blush colored his white fur, Athrun rubbed where she licked with a light paw and sighed gently. He didn't like to take sympathy or empathy from others, but one that had been through it as well... it made him feel at least okay.
"Yes we have, and I'm sorry for the losses in your life as well. Sometimes it's very unfair to have to keep living after losing someone or doing something TO lose them at all." His claws scratched into his light mane for a moment as the god sighed gently, his curse markings shifting over his snow white fur as he moved. "To hear the earth speak... that would be quite an incredible thing I believe." ninja

She nodded queitly as he spoke not wanting to intterupt and smiled her two-toned eyes glittering, "I think that is enough self pity out of us, something incrediable? Rocks are very mundane, and the roots babble, the earth itself it whines in fear of everything," she sighed, "It is more exciting to hear and speak with you than it is to the earth."
"Do not get me wrong, when everything speaks it all sings and the melody is soothing...but sometimes..it's better to hear a lion than a rock," she smiled and a light crimson blush spread across her cheeks.
She extended her claws and retracted them rythmically like a kitten does it's mother, she was content for now, although her heart hurt, she was content.

Reflecting for a moment on the howls of the lonely souls on the earth below them, Athrun decided that he'd much rather have heard the singing of the rocks and roots, the babbling of roots was much better than the screams of pain he normally heard every waking moment. What could he do though? It was what it was.
"Sometimes... I think that hearing anything would be better than some things. Though I must admit... hearing anything would also be better than nothing at all." Ath suddenly laughed gently, shaking his head at his own idiocy for that statement.
The god's blood red tail slithered over the ground as he thrashed it for a moment, dipping his claws down into the clouds and frowning at it. He still wasn't sure exactly how they were standing or what it was they were standing on... he'd rarely been up here in his life as his powers were tripled up here. ninja

"I enjoy opening my ears to them and falling asleep to the melody, it is better to hear that than to hear the crying of those you love," she nodded. Her wings fluttered causing a small tinkling sound rather than the usual harsh clashing and clanging. She was very tired and would soon be asking if he minded she left. This place made her sleepy but it also made her feel more alive.
"Do you think...under different circumstances my life ro your life would have turned out much differently? Or were we supposed to suffer so?" It is funny to think that a goddess would question her fate, after all not many more can actually help change it for the worse or better, unless they themselves were a god or goddess.

"There are always 'ifs' and 'what ifs' in life. You'll never know for sure. I'll never know for sure either." Athrun said after a long time, his wings fluttering as he thought of it himself. What if his mate hadn't died then? What if all of his cubs had lived rather than just the one? What would have happened?
Shaking his head inwardly to clear it, the god chuckled and smiled. The lonely thoughts swarmed once more and Athrun closed his eyes tight.
"Well... as much as I do love the company I fear it's about time I go back down to the lands below. The lonely thoughts of others are just a bit too much for me at this moment." He smiled lightly at her, trying to push said thoughts away. "I hope we meet up once more in life." At this he nodded his head sagely. "But for now I go."
Wings opened and ruffled in the gentle breeze of the haven as the god dissapeared from sight and from the haven completely at th same moment. It was time he went to find Azraceri again. ninja

Boma nodded and bobbed her head as he spoke and as abruptly as they had met he left her sitting on a cloud..or what ever they were exactly on,
"Fair well!" She called quietly watching as he disappeared.
She would try not to dwell on the past, but the mind does what the mind wants.
