“Well,” Aziz blistered. “Isn’t that what you people do best? You swell up until it’s the only family around. And the others are left whimpering for scraps. She’ll be with him. I doubt there’d be any other reason for anyone to come to these woods.” She bitterly remarked- although she did not realize at the time that she was inadvertently admitting to staying because of her son’s presence.
Carius was still having revelations about having a granddaughter. Oddly, he trotted over besides Hallie and sat, his large hulking body somewhat awkward besides that of the younger female. Aziz bristled as he did. What- was she going to have to steal Carius away from this b***h as well? Idiot! How could he keep leaving her for these others?

At the mention of 'you people', Hal crinkled her nose and made a strange face. She really didn't like this female's attitude. Something seemed stuck up her a**, and she wondered just how big that thing might be. It must've been uncomfortable for her to snap so much like that. She wished something big would just come by and sit on her. It didn't have to kill her, but rather restrain her and make her breathing hard. It'd be interesting.
"What're you bitter about, lady?" she growled, her tail bristling slightly. She wasn't looking for a fight, but she really was rather tired of Aziz and her comments.
As her grandfather switched sides, a slight smirk of satisfaction came over her adolescent features. She thought he was dim-witted and not very useful aside from his obvious brute muscle, but she had noticed the way the older female had bristled. Obviously it struck her in some way and she wasn't happy about it.
Twitching her ears, Hallie moved her head so that she could get a better look at him. "Grandfather," she said plainly, not really calling him or meaning anything by it. It was simply a test to see their reactions to the fact that this male had relations.
