"Ew," Kat remarked, cocking her head to the side at the blob thing that had appeared in front of all of them. It wasn't in her nature to get all girly and freak out over certain things, but she had to admit it was pretty nasty looking. As she stood looking at it disgustedly, suddenly it shot part of itself at her, and she was forced to dive and roll out of the way. It was shooting goop at everyone. Some managed to get out of the way, like her, but others were being hit and stuck to the walls and the ones above it were getting pushed onto the ceiling.
"Look out!" she yelled at a girl next to her as the blob took aim and fired again. She dove again, pushing the other girl out of the way but getting her feet caught in the stuff in the process. They were instantly glued to the floor, and she couldn't move. The blob shuddered and started coming at her, and she screamed.

Diana had wandered from her club groub at the museum and was looking around the asteroid when the attack started. When it hit the ground, the turned and gaged. "Ugh..." She stepped back and cringed, but didn't run. It was just too weird, and yet facinating. She barely even noticed at first that the monster's attack was starting towards her.
"LOOK OUT!" A girl near her yelled, adn shoved her away. this brought her back to reality as she fell on her rear. The other girl was still stuck in teh goo and the monster was heading towards them. "Aug..." SHe looked around quickly, trying to think. Um.... She spotted the fire extingisher and ran to it. She broke the glass around it with her elbow (making it a bloody mess) and pulled it out. She pulled out the pin and ran back to the girl that saved her. "Hold still!" She said, then sprayed her feet down with CO2. The goo solidified and she hit it with the but of the extingisher, releasing the girl's feet. Diana grabbed her hand and pulled her away towards the stairs. "COME ON!"

Kat followed the girl up the stairs, ducking behind the banister just as the thing pounced where they had been with a sickening slurping sound that made her gag.
"Thanks!" she called up to the other girl. "What do we do now?"

Diana shrugged. "Run?" She looked around for a clear exit. "Call the police? Or some kind of expert?" Almost everyone was running away now. Everyone, but some shaggy man who was looking down at the monster. She looked down adn gagged. It was dividing. "Oh no..." She looked back at the man that seemed engrossed with the whole thing and ran to him, releasing the other girl and grabbing his trench coat. "Come on!!" she commanded him. "This is no time to be oggling!!"
((Just a reminder. Anyone can control the NPCs like him. Care to take him for a spin?))

"Buhwha...?" the man gaped as he was dragged along. "I was just...it's just so...fascinating, you know?"
Kat raised an eyebrow. "Fascinating?! That thing could, well, I dunno, eat everyone or something!" She actually had no idea what the blob was going to do, but whatever it was couldn't be good, and they had to act fast. "Look!" she pointed at a rooftop exit. "Let's go up here and try to think!"
They all ended up on the roof, looking out over the city. Life out here seemed to be carrying on as usual. Kat whipped out her cell phone and started dialing 911.

"The police can't do anything," the gruffy man stated flatly. "They don't know how to handle Aliens like this!" He struck an overly dramatic and cheezy pose. "We'll have to take care of this ourselves!!"
Diana looked at him as if he were crazy. She gripped her elbow and tried to make the bleeding stop before that crazy goo moster came after them. "Oh? And how praytell are we supposed to do that?" She looked up and down the man in his cheep tranch coat. "Do you have a bazooka or grenade launcher underneighth that coat?"
The man grinned. "Nope! I have something better." He shuffled through his pockets and took out two chain bracelets with a large blank disk in the center of each. "Put these on," he said, shoving them toward te girls, "and say the first words that come into your mind."

Kat took the bracelet, but she simply stared at it blankly.
"I'll tell you what the first thing is to come into my mind," she replied sarcastically. "What. The. Crap."

Diana choked on a laugh, but put the bracelet on. The blank disk started changing colors and a moon appeared on it. "What in blue blazes?!" She looked back at the man. "What is this thing?!"
The man grinned. "Just say the first words that enter yout head!" He acted as if it was painfully obvious on what to do.
"Those were my words!" Diana looked at the roof enterance and heard a gloppy sound coming towards them. She turned her back on the man and faced the entrance. Hoh no...

((weeee! It's been a LONG time since last I watched Sailor Moon and such and I really have no idea how to go about this, so just let me know if I do this right lol. sweatdrop ))
Kat put her bracelet on as well, and hers too changed colors, landing on the symbol for Jupiter. She cocked her head to the side.
"Jupiter?" she thought aloud.
"That's it!" the man was practically jumping up and down in excitement. She simply stared at him blankly.
"That's what? I don't get it!" she yelled in frustration. Suddenly, the blob burst through the door, and she screamed, the words forming as she dove out of the way.
"Jupiter Star Power!"

((PERFECT!! biggrin I haven't watched the anime in a while, but I'm currently saturated in manga whee ))
Diana's eyes widened and muttered under her breath. "Moon Cosmic Power..." She heard both her and the girl next to her both say together, "MAKE UP!" A sudden rush of power consumed them both. An instant later and they were both dressed in completely different outfits than they had before, and meraculusly, her elbow was completely healed. "What the..."

"Wow," Kat grinned at her new outfit. "This is cool!" She struck a pose, temporarily forgetting about the peril they were currently in. That is, until she found herself once again stuck to the ground, this time from neck to waist.
"Gah!" she yelped, instinctively trying to pry the mess off with her hands. To her surprise, electricity arced between her hands when they faced each other, and she tried shocking the stuff. It coursed right through it and through her however, and she stopped immediately.
"Oops," she said sheepishly. In her excitement she forgot that she wasn't grounded to anything. "A little help?" she called out to the other girl.

Diana jumped before the goo thing could get to her. "A little help?!" She heard the other girl say, but she couldn't think of how. There wasn't a fire extinguisher anywhere there! The crazy man yelled at them again.
"Say the first words that come to your mind!!" He seemed to be perfectly enjoying himself. Diana glared, then focused her mind at the end of her finger, pointing it at the goo around the girl. "Moonlight Lazer!" A long blue lazer came out and ate away at the goo surrounding her.
Amazed as she was that she even did that, Diana turned and faced the goo monster once more, this time more angry than scared. "What's the whole idea!!!" she screamed at it. "What are you?! Why are you attacking us?!!"

Kat wiped the remaining goo from her outfit as she stood up.
"It's a blob of slime," she said half-sarcastically. "I don't think it can talk!"

"Good point." Diana bit her lip then tried to think of what to do to this thing... And didn't it divide into two blobs?
"Combine your attacks!" The nutcase behind them yelled out. "Turn it to dust!!"
"I'm this close to blasting him to atoms," she muttered under her breath. She didn't even know how any of this worked!! She pointed her finger at it again and muttered, "Moonlight lazer!"

"Where did the other one go anyway?" Kat looked around. "And shocking didn't work, so how will combining our powers work?!"
Just then, the other blob shot up over the roof's edge and came hurling down at them. Kat screamed.
