Nuhusi laughed, the sound ringing much like a low toned bell, "Scare me away? I do believe only evil spirits scare me...they are the only thing worth fearing." It was true. She did not fear mortal or nature, just the spirits that resided in the world. But the deserved her fear, for they were quite powerful. She nodded her head, her eyes twinkling with mirth though he could not see it, "Alright...do continue." Her voice returned to a silky purr.

Kucha cocked his head to one side at the mention of spirits. Why do I feel like I've heard that before? he wondered. But then he shook his head, his large forelock blowing in the wind. He reared backwards and pressed a paw on Nuhusi's nose. He moved it over her eyes, her ears, felt her whiskers, painting a beautiful image in his head. His toes slowly flowed across her features, feeling her soft fur.
Finished, he put his paws back on the ground. He smiled calmly, purring, "You have a beautiful face." He paused, and looked directly into where he felt her eyes would be. "And... thank you. It's been a long time since someone actually spoke to me without throwing insults. I haven't heard a purr besides my own for many moons."

"Throwing insults...?" Nuhusi said, amused, "That honestly isn't very wise of them. The spirits have done their will against you, but they do ever so hate when people make fun of their handywork or step into it. I'm sure it won't go unnoticed." She smiled, her dark whiskers lifting as she did so. It was funny that she could be so calm about something that, in her mind, was very serious. "And I thank you, for it is nice to get a compliment..." This comment brought her voice down to a mature toned purr.

Kucha purred loudly, glowing at the idea of a new friend. Indeed, Kucha didn't have many friends - if any at all - and he was glad to have met someone who understood.

But Kucha's purr was cut short by a loud rumbling sound, at which he cringed in pain. "Oooh, my stomach!" he complained. "I'm sorry, Nuhusi, but I haven't eaten in days..." Kucha's voice trailed off as he smiled feebly.

"Well it's no wonder," Nuhusi mused, eyeing him thoughtfully, "You stand out like a giraffe among a herd of zebra, not to mention it must be hard without your sight." He comments were casual and realistic, not accusing or demeaning in nature. She opened her mouth in a delicate yawn before twitching her ears and suggesting, "Perhaps you should get a little help. It couldn't hurt anything but your pride, right?"

"What's left of it, at least!" Kucha jested, purring again. "But yes, I've been having lots of trouble hunting. Some help would be greatly appreciated," he blinked gratefully. He stood up and stretched, waiting expectantly.

Nuhusi didn't move from where she sat. She simply leaned up against the tree trunk more fully, pressing her slim body against its rough surface. She grinned in amusement as she saw him stand there, waiting. "I don't recall saying I was the one to ask," she purred, her voice teasing. Now, she knew she'd end up helping him in the end, for she wasn't so heartless not to, but she could never resist a little word-play when it came.

Kucha made a mock puppy-dog face, easing out a slight whimper. "Then who, may I ask, will help?" he pretended to be upset, fairly sure Nuhusi would be the one helping to hunt. He collapsed on the ground, rolling around and trying to look like he was in pain. But of course, this was a sorry attempt due to his mocking laughter.

"Oh, I don't know," Nuhusi said, pretending to sound forlorn, "Perhaps there is pretty, capable leopardess around here." She curled her tail the opposite direction around the tree, tilting her head to look at the sky at not at his rolling motions, pretending she didn't notice. Though the grin on her face was hard to whipe away. Luckily he could see, ne?

Kucha sat up, grinning mischeviously. "Oh yes, I'm sure there is some capable leoparddess," he mocked, gently flicking his tail from side to side.

"It is such a shame you have yet to ask her," Nuhusi murmured. It was quite amazing, how much energy this strange white leopard seems to have, concidering he was blind and hadn't eaten in a while. One would think he'd be pretty down for all his hardships. It was nice to know he could have a little fun. Nuhusi didn't do so well with overly serious people, unless it delt with spirits.

"Fine then," Kucha sighed sarcastically. "Will you please help me hunt?"
No matter how bad things may seem, Kucha always tried to put up a bold front. Although shy at times, he was a very optimistic cat, despite how badly life had beaten him down.

Oooo, someone was getting a little testy. Nuhusi rubbed her check against the wood, feeling her whiskers lift slightly as she let out a breath, "Oooooh alright, since you asked ever so nicely." She purred a little and pulled away from the tree, her body moving like water as she moved to stand beside him. "Would you like to join me?" She asked in amusement.

EDIT: (( ;; Ending since other rper left gaia. ))

But Nuhusi decided a moment later that he would be in the way. And besides...who said she was coming back? Hunting for him didn't seem much fun anymore. "I'll be back soon," she purred before slinking off without another word.
