 The elves are what the Emerald Wood is known for, since they were its original inhabitants. Most of the ponies in the Emerald Herd have at least some elven blood in them. Diandriel Loriand is the herd leader, as it is tradition that the Emerald Wood always be led by a female. Recently she has named her youngest daughter, Arda, heir to the wood, removing the strain from Seere in teh case that anything should happen to her. The elves are a serene and old race, imbersed in their own traditions and ways of life. To many other ponies they may seem strange and old fashioned, but they have survived for a long time and they do not plan to change their ways now that they have allowed access to the outside world.

He is also a hopeless romantic, as well as he loves children and can often be found babysitting, especially watching over Kiia. Aros is now a father, and two of his three daughters live with him. He is overly protective of his little angels and watches over them almost every moment of the day. He's making sure no male's will get even remotely close to them until they are teens.
