Isn't there commentary rom the director on the movie? Has anyone tried watching that or am I just confused? It's been such a long time since I've seen it I need to go back and watch it again. Man I remember when there were only the first two DVDs of the series talk about confusion!

I watched it with the commentary on a long time ago.
This is one of those movies that's so open to interpretation though, that it's still interesting to discuss.

I've got a question for you: If Toga was actually dead, then at that scene where Anthy was washing the floors, how come she was talking with him?

I figured it's mainly because when Anthy was in Utena's room, she saw the picture of Utena and Touga. Later in the movie they also said Anthy was a witch (during the conversation between Akio and Touga), so that's my guess on how Anthy was able to talk with Touga.
Haven't been able to really watch Utena with the director's commentary yet, so it's just my guess.

Sounds like a good guess!

I wanted to ask what everyone thought "The revolution of the world" really was. I always found myself questioning what it was and then what i believe hit me a year ago.

The revolution began with Utena and Anthy because they stepped out of the status que and left, inspiring others to consider that path or make amends for their mistakes.

So the revolution to me was to set your own path and it was never to late to make amends for the past.

That's what I kind of thought too. I really like the anime because of that. Anthy and Utena, in that sense, really did revolutionize the world. They changed Touga, Miki, Saonji, Juri etc etc.
It was a really good anime/movie.
