Tebow deserved it, putting together one of the best statistical season for a QB in NCAA college football history. And as a sophomore!
Too bad Florida's D didn't step up so they could contend for their second straight BCS title.

You really don't think Tebow deserved the Heisman.
Take out opinions and biased talk. Tebow had a far better season for his position, and showed character off the field. His numbers have never been replicated, and he just did way too much for his team.
I am sorry but darren played way better for the team he was on if he was on florida he would have more TD's then florida

Tebow carried the Gators for over 50 TDs, at least 20 passing and rushing each (and NCAA record).
Yes, McFadden was the most skilled player at his position, and probably the first or second going into this year's NFL draft. But Tebow was way more valuable to his team, put up huge unheard of numbers, and showed great qualities off the field.
The Heisman
is not given to individuals who have sick skills and may be able to compete in the NFL level. You have to be of value to your team, outshine vision for NCAA football, and be honorable off the field.
