Vis looked at her for a second before answering, "...Well no. You're just hard to figure out, Amoena. I can't tell if your mad or if I'm bugging you or...I don't know", he shook his head in frustration. "You're confusing", he said, trotting back to the stream.

'Uh-oh' She thought watching him leave. She wouldn't be able to just follow him while keeping her pride in tact. "Maybe you shouldn't try to figure me out then!" She snapped crossing over coming to a harsh stop infront of him. "Did you ever think of that?" She looked like she was going to bite him but inside she was coingradulating her self for thinking this up.

Viscoso stopped abrubtly and looked at the filly standing in front of him. "Why are you so mean? Maybe if you were less harsh I could actually hang around you long enough to figure you out. Did you ever think of that?", he said in a mocking sort of way. His ears flicked slightly as he waited for her resonse.

Amoena snorted sticking her lips out in a pout. "Fine! See if I care!!!" She snapped turning on a dime before speeding away in a huff. How dare he call he mean? She wasn't mean! She was being strong. She sniffled biting back tears. If he didn't want to be nice to her then she didn't want to be freinds with him!

Viscoso watched her sprint off as his ears drooped. Now I've done it, he thought. He took off after her, hoping he could catch up. "Amoena! Amoena I'm sorry!", he shouted. "Please stop!" He continued going as fast as he could but his legs weren't used to going that speed, causing him to trip. When he had stopped tumbling he just lay on the ground, mentally kicking himself. "I blew it", he muttered.

The young filly heard him but she had no intention of stopping. She was going home and wasn't going to even try with people ever again. She slowed once she heard a strange thump before looking over her shoulder. The colt was missing from her sight and then she saw the multicolored leg. "You fell?" She called back to him trying not to burst into a fit of giggles. "How lame!"

Vis stood up and shook himself off. "Yeah..how lame." He looked up at Amoena sadly. "I really am sorry. I-I guess I just...I don't know what came over me. You don't have to forgive me I just wanted to tell you I didn't mean what I said.", he said, turning and walking away.

Amoena thought for a moment. Did she want him to leave like that? No, but he wouldn't be any fun if he was being all depressed. "Right...so maybe I'll see you some other time. If I ever decide to forgive that is!" She called to him before turning to continue her way home. She carried her head high as if his insult hadn't fazed her at all. Almost as if it had never happened.

Viscoso stopped and layed down in the shade of a tall tree, laying his head down sadly. "This making friends thing isn't working out very well", he said to himself. "The very first one I try to make too." He rolled over onto his back and looked up at the leaves. "Why me?"
