Elfen Lied has been one of the most interesting anime's I've ever seen. My friend got me to watch it and I didn't want to at first because I hate gory and violent films, but when I did watch it I LOVED it heart Some people who don't like it probably don't understand the deeper meanings of the story.

Dyclonius Eh.. In another Elfen Lied guild i'm in, A lot of people dislike nyu XD how can you not like Nyu, she is so cool biggrin

My friend got me to watch it and I didn't want to at first because I hate gory and violent films, but when I did watch it I LOVED it heart Some people who don't like it probably don't understand the deeper meanings of the story. same here when i saw amv's for it watching people get tortured i thought that this anime was screwed up. but after watching it i want them to come out with a second season. it really does take the issue of humanitarianism to its limit.

There really is nothing wrong having your opinion. I never expect anyone to like what I like. But I hate it when people are so snide about it.
Like, that whole, "I hate it and anyone who likes it is a f**" mentality. That irritates me.

i like elfen lied and all my friends that have watched it liked it, we all like lucy, but the guiys like marioko better than nana, and the girls well the girls like nuy. i think nana is kudo, i still like mariko better* hugs make belive mariko plushy*

I am the only person i know who has watched it. If people are labeling it with emo/goth maybe they should:
1)Watch the whole series
2)Truly think about what the creator was trying to tell the audience
3) Pay more attention to their emotions (and doing so isn't emo)
4)Stop labeling things
I personally loved the series because it does go into full detail and shows the gore and provides insight about how fragile people really are.

I, personally, think that Elfen Lied is probably my favorite anime (I really like Hellsing too)... it has suspense, action, a good story line, and nice art ^_^
