Caerwyn was about to answer when he was interrupted.
"If he said no, he means no, Yue. Do not try to push him or get him to change his answer," Vincent said as he came up behind Yue.

"...I wasn't pushing, Vincent, just extending my offer," Yue said calmly, eyes sliding over to the red-eyed Dream.

Caerwyn nodded. "That's true dad. He wasn't pushing me, and I wasn't even going to change my mind, so please don't be mad."
Vincent looked at his son. "I'm not mad at you Caerwyn." He turned to Yue. "You should have never offered in the first place." To say the caped dream wasn't happy with the other would be a slight understatement. "Caer, why don't you go and check on the the little ones."
"Alright, Dad." Caerwyn knew that Vincent needed to talk to Yue so he left the two of them alone, with out argue.

"What is wrong with asking my son if he wants to help his siblings and I?" Yue asked calmly. He didn't honestly realize what the problem was.

"The problem is that two of our children have already almost died from helping, and I will not put Caerwyn in that situtation," Vincent explained. He couldn't believe Yue was acting so uncaring about that!

Yue's eyes narrowed, but he stayed completely calm. "Neo and Abeni are perfectly fine. Kakashi and Camelot have a lot of medical knowledge and they even said that the injuries were superfluous. And they are not children anymore, Vincent. I did not make them fight, they chose to fight. For their home, their family and their children." he explained simply, shifting his weight once more off of his bound paw.

Vincent shrugged. "I know they aren't children anymore, Yue! But it hurt to see them almost die! You don't understand how hard it is for me!"

"They didn't almost die. You are exaggerating, Vincent," Yue shook his head. "And since they aren't children, there is nothing I can do to stop them. If they are still willing to fight after getting mere scratches from a psychotic grasshopper, then they are going to continue fighting. And I'm proud of them for doing so." Yue explained coldly.

Vincent threw his paws in the air and sighed. "I know that, but I can't help but worry about all of you! You are fighting constantly against an opponent that even you can't defeat. It scares me Yue! I don't want to lose you guys!"

"You're not going to lose us," Yue sighed. "Even if the opponent is tough, we're tougher. And there are more of us than of them. Especially with the extra help. You worry too much," he said, rolling his shoulder slightly to see if it was functional.

Yue tilted his head and softened his gaze slightly. "I'm sorry that it's worrying you, but I'm not gonna stop fighting. And neither are my children," he said bluntly.
