I agree, that would make me want to come on gaia more and give me something else to do since I hate the battle system. The item helping out people in the battle system suggestion made me think of neopets.
I think growing cotton, indigo and other clothes material would be a good idea. Then they could make it so you could make your own clothes. Depending on the material and design it could be priced. It would make people have to communicate more, kind of like the mini shops but better.
