The only character I have really hated would be Richard, though I no longer hate him now. I loved him when he was introduced in COTD, and up until KD he was great. But. . .then he got so angry at Anita (though she did deserve that) and broke her heart. Then he was just nasty to her for the next few books. I did give him some slack, since I understood that Anita broke his heart, too. But some things he did/said were just out of spite, and I hated him for it. Then, I think when I was reading CS, I started to get over my hate for him and actually thought to myself, "Maybe Richard is just misunderstood. We see everything from Anita's point of view, and he's being a b*****d to her. But, if I were in Richard's shoes, wouldn't I be acting the same exact way?" So, then I started being more indifferent to Richard. It turned to pity as soon as I learned he was suicidal - that broke my heart to read, since I had once upon a time loved him so dearly. Now that he's actually trying to be better (to Anita and to himself), I like him again. But, I have come to the conclusion that he and Anita are better characters when they are not together. I don't mean when they're fighting, necessarily, just when they aren't an item and they're okay with it. Not that they've actually been "okay" with it. . .sorry, I digress.
Bottom line, I hated Richard with a passion not too long ago. Now I'm starting to accept him for who and what he is, as I do for the other characters.
So, in conclusion (finally, lol), I don't hate anyone. But I do dislike Dolph at the moment for being such a b*****d to Anita. Again, though, that misunderstood thing keeps me from hating him.
Sorry for the long rant sweatdrop

Bobsthename senshichic2005 I honestly dated Raina and Gabriel. I was glad when they died. Awww....I have a tiny obsession with Gabriel whee If I ever have a male kid, I'm naming him Gabriel. Raina was cool too, in her own way. If you see what my writings and RP's are based on, these two look semi normal. Sadly. Badly. Gabriel scared me a bit.. But I do have a soft spot for Raina I think. Because she really did kick a**. And she has this lovely habbit of ruining Anita's life... I'm for Drama. Raina really causes it when she randomly takes over Anita's body!

Then he started to go down hill... When he was such a complete b*****d I just wanted to strangle him.

Raina was the spiff biggrin And how she comes back to haunt Anita, it's spiffy too~! whee Gabriel won me over when Anita stabbed him and he murmured 'Deeper'. Hahaha.........*sparkly eyed* Gabriel is awesome

Dolph is starting to annoy me... But then, I can understand his anger, I just think that it's misplaced. Misplaced as in, real life issues have no place interfering with a cops job.
Richard is annoying... But then again, I can understand his anger. Something about Anita being allowed to ******** other men but her not wanting her men to ******** anyone else... Well, that's just ******** I actually picked "Other"... I'm in the midst of rereading Narcissus In Chains and well... Narcissus just really pisses me off.

[Rant] Hmmm... I for one don't HATE anyone in the books, just dislike a little o.O
Um, Dolph. Yeah, he's started to be a S.O.B to Anita. I can understand his frustration and everything, but the way he lost the plot and took it out on Anita. Nuh uh, not right Mister Dolph stare
I for one kinda like Richard >.< I always did, mainly because he's a dream boat to me. And he also stirred things up and added the tension in some of the books, but his way of thinking did get me confused confused
I did not like Padma. Grrr... he annoyed me to such an extent that I wanted to scream at the book stressed
Gabriel, he did have somethin' didn't he? I also loved the line when Anita stabbed him and he said "deeper". That was actually kinda sexy redface Or was that just me being twisted? Ah well whee I could so imagine being in Raina's shoes for a day, t'would be fun to be powerful and wicked xd The best combo ever 3nodding

I am kinda indifferent to Narcisuss. I felt sorry for him.. But I'm not going to say anymore don't want to spoil that book. ^_~
Dolph.. Understandable but unreasonable.
Padma I forgot him. His son bothered me as well.. Or was he the son? Most of the elder vampires pissed me off. Except for the Earthquake one who's name I can't remember. He was pretty damn cool.

The only character in the series that I can't stand is Micah. He's just so perfect, and he never causes any conflict...and it bothers me. I hope he turns out to be some sort of evil 'get-close-to-the-Executioner-and-then-attempt-to-kill-her-in-her-sleep' kind of guy, so Anita can kick his butt and prove her worth once more.

Except... he kind of already did that, remember? He worked for Chimera, and he was supposed to get close to her. The thing is, he's like the rock that Anita can cling to in the storm. He's her calmer side. He's someone that Anita won't get irritated with, so she'll always have a shoulder to lean on. In a way, he's exactly what she needs.

But still--and I know I'm whining--I can't seem to get myself to like the guy. Maybe it's just that he burst into Anita's life when I was beginning to think she had plenty enough guys, and after his appearance a bunch more followed. I miss the old, less-sex more-action plots, and I'm thinking a part of me blames Micah for the sudden influx of horny men in Anita's life. More than a little irrational, I know. But there you go...

And it's the reason why so many hate him. That and alot of people see him as the start of Anita's slutty-ness. Personally, main character's that are calm, aren't fun. Anita was fun because she was so moral, she didn't give in, she USED to have to fight (Now she doesn't. She's like, the first human in history for everything. Or the second. Or the only. Or the whatever. Sue-ness annoys me.), because she was always so high strung. That was amusing. This new shagging-everything-and-everybody Anita isn't nearly quite as fun. crying ; sadly, if the book after ID is all this smut, I'll be forced to say goodbye to Anita forever. And Micah should re-do it. His part with Chimera, it was so lame. And just kind of popped out of nowhere. It really pissed me off. I was hoping for something deep and darky and bloody with his pack, but I don't know, I'm highly disappointed with it. Maybe because my rpg's and stories are too ******** up themselves and Micah's little story seems pale in comparsion. *shrugs*

I think one of the reasons I hate Micah is that he is exactly what Anita says she needs. I hate that he brings out all of her weaknesses. I don't want her to have weaknesses. And when she is around Micah she lets her weaknesses out. I want my Anita to be the kickass ballbusting no tears woman she use to be, not the needy breakdown woman Micah brings out.
