Somehow I don't think that would work out too well on wittle Nathan's behalf. I think he should be happy that they actually acknowledge his good looks. Unlike my family! Haha. whee

xd That sounds amusing. Whenever we go visit my family in Chicago, they always make a big deal out of whatever I'm wearing because I'm the only female grandchild/niece/whatever. xp
Oh, and because Nathan didn't mention it in his post (thank you for posting that, by the way), warning 1. When you get to 3, you're banned temporarily for 2 weeks, and after that, kicked from the guild. It's not being rude or offensive to ask you to politely work on your language/spelling/grammar, so please do; as I said before, I'm sorry if I offended you in any way, but it's really not that difficult of a thing to do. Thank you. 3nodding

You wouldn't believe the things these old ladies have said to me... One time, during one of the great reunions, one of my great aunts looked at me in surprise and said aloud for all to hear: "Naphtali, is that really you??". I was expecting another one of those "My how you've grown" scenarios, but I was gravely mistaken. I desperately tried to find a way out, but I was cornered by my other four great aunts. My great aunt plowed on, bringing my doom nearer... And guess what she said? She looks at me with all due seriousness and says: "My, Naphtali, you've gotten so good looking... I remember you when you were fat, fat, FAT".
eek
I'll leave it at that and let you try to imagine the look on my face xd .

I normally go through the whole,"My god! You've gotten so thin! I'm so proud of you Cate! Now where's that boyfriend of yours?!" In which I have to remind them that I broke up with im about 7 months ago.... It gets annoying, but you've gotta love your family.

Bored Summer Girl We gather with all the relatives for either the first or the last night of Chanukah and that's when we exchange presents with everyong else. I'm hoping for DDR. All the other nights, we just light our menorahs at home. Maybe we eat a littl bit of challah, but we don't do any thing special on the other nights. I got DDR I think for my birthday last year. Its a great game, but prsonally I think Extreme is better than MAx because its more hard core, but thats just me

This year I"ll be going home, cooking a big dinner for my family, and seeing a Gogol Bordello concert. (My dad is banned from latke making.) I really hope my uncle and all the cousins come over this year though 3nodding

can anypne describe or show a picture of hannukah socks? i looove socks and i want to hear or see how they look razz
anyways, i am going to celebrate mostly at home i guess... maybe i will be lighting the first candle with the people who went to Poland with me... at home we are used to light candles and sing some songs until we are bored, we eat donats (sufganiot) and levivot, ummm not somthing unusual.. i hope we won't be celebrating witht he bigger family, cause i can't stand them... lol... and other than that maybe the dates fall on the festival in wadi nis nas caled "holiday of holidays" in which me and my friends are going to be incharge of a stand...
besides - 8 days or holiday! no school! fuuuunnnn razz
