I feel like out grown Anime North and I only go to the other to see the friends I see once a year. Work one more AN and then we'll see about passing the torch. Deal? Your not ready to lose me yet are you Of course not. But whenever we're both sick of it, we can look for reliable people to take over. Whether that's next year or a few years from now. Bottom line, when you quit our department, I do. Evil though we could train Theresa's Boy Toy to do it. Okay, you just reached a new level of evil there. XD (I'll think about it. lol) He said we keep given him bigger jobs when he comes to Utarpa that would be bigger

I've been to the last three or four A-kons and this year I went to my first AnimeFest, where I had the pleasure of chatting with Monica Rial. ;D

The only one I've been to was AnimeExpo 2000, and it was awesome. I've wanted to go again every year, but I live in Idaho, and it's in Cali.. so it's not exactly easy to get there. *sigh* Maybe this year.

I thought anime/manga was the fastest growing cuase of poverty in our culture. I've been in anime fandom for 10 years and I have yet to meet a fan who's considered rich. Anime collections wear a hole in our pockets.

I went to my first con last year ^^ the ComiCon in San Diego, CA
Wow! it's mad crazy! Got a kiki plushie at the Gaia booth biggrin
Met a few stars took lots of pictures (well my daughter did ^^ who can resist a cute 11yo fan?)
And ended the day with a viewing of the fan film "Done the Impossible"
That was awesome! talk about a great group of people biggrin
I want to go again this year, and I think I am better prepared. ^^
I'd like to attend the Anime one and definitely the Star Wars Celebration which is in Los Angeles this May! YAY! biggrin
