The woman grinned and reached forward as she slipped into the water with a contented sigh. The fact that Kain had inspected her head to toe, didn't seem to bother her at all, nor did it seem to effect her at all for that matter. Taking the cigarette between slender fingers, the things was aglow before it reached her lush lips. Taking a relaxed drag and exhaling after a moment she purrs,
"Thank you... I don't indulge in these very often."
Reaching her free hand up to knead her neck as she spoke, she eyes the devil curiously.
"So... what conclusions have you surmised about me thus far?"
She was quite curious as to what theories this man had formed since the time Sierra employed him to know, specifically those theories formed within the last half hour or so... Just how astute was this handsome devil?

An exhale of smoke created a pseudo-smoke screen, Kain's peering eyes regarding the new...and Improved Sierra. His thoughts of noting his skepticism were what he was mulling over...
"You, m'dear, are not the Lady Sierra. From what I've been doing is a bunch of guesswork and I'm not fond of guess work...I wouldn't exactly say that you are "Possessing" Sierra, regardless of your Daemonic nature. You have more of a Symbiotic relationship with her, feeding off of one another."
He took another drag...dramatic...and let it spew out while he spoke,
"You're very different from the petty demons from MY plane...you've got sense."
He glanced at her again and added, as if just realised,
"To create a better relationship with Sierra...why else would the demon within her come out...and conveniently at our rest stop where we would almost HAVE to converse. I understand I haven't been the best travelling companion or employee, regardless of pay, But, she knew full well I wasn't too fond of her kind..."

Ra'kar's lips twitched as she grinned at the devil in amusement, a laugh escaping her lips.
"Yes she did... but the mistake here was, she knew you did not like her bretheren. She has never been of them, like them or accepted by them. Upon being conceived she was superior to the finest of their petty race. A fact she should keep in the forefront of her pretty little head and doesn't."
Taking another puff before continuing she adds.
"Symbiotic eh?--- That's one way of looking at it. Sierra is... the perfect physical match to my former self. She is a gift to me, from the gods that I might be reborn to fulfill my unfinished purposes. The gods, and my own. We are entwined at the souls you see... One in the same but of different...errmm, dispositions and sensabilities..."

"Ah, I see."
The situation was interesting...from what Kain could understand it was a co-existing like quality...
"You're not intimidated by Exorcism attempts...though, from what I can tell and what I've experienced. It'd take a helluva lot more to get rid of you...?"
He left the question hanging, an opening question for the entity to acknowledge her own title to him.

The demoness chortled leaning her head back against the cool stone wall of the bathing pool.
"Get rid of me? Heh... Anyone who cares about Sierra won't because it would kill her, and anyone who would try... well, we don't exactly 'keep them around' if you get my drift. She is the reincarnation of my former self... She could choose to 'sleep' but she has a strangely strong grip on life that I haven't been able to dissuade her of. Besides, the level of intricate ritual required to try and extract the souls is a lost art. "
She pondered a moment before adding in conclusion.
"Besides, there are parts of her and I that are not clearly one or the other. We truly are one entity with a dual mind. To get rid of me, it would take a highly skilled demon slayer with an absurd amount of luck... who had no remorse in killing off my 'better half'."

The Devil quirked a brow, one of his guesses was correct.
" I thought that was the case. You didn't seem like one to let go of your "host" so easily, the only REAL sensible thing would be to kill the ungrateful creature."
Kain brushed back his, now soaked, hair with his left hand to remove the wet tendrils from his face.
"I'm just curious of one other thing--well, many things, but I'm not going to bore you with questions all night except...your name...?"

"Kill her? No... that wouldn't serve me well at all. Subduing her though is another thing entirely."
She grins, flashing dainty fangs as she leans forward and sets her now finished cigarette butt on the pool's edge.
"I'm sure you can understand my caution in presenting my true name to you... But I will give you this to call me as I have given it to others. I am known as Ra'kar. "

Ra'Kar...the name rolled off of the tongue from where he was spawned.
"Ra'Kar...very lovely, m'lady. I would say it accents your enticing features, the tattoos on your skin are a perfect match for such a silky name."
Then, all of a sudden, a thought split into his mind--
"What a minute, where the hell are those drinks!? No one's even asked us yet-some places..."
Kain looked towards the entryway, a loch of hair sidelonging his chisled visage, and bellowed his out rage of such lack of service for paying customers.

"What no more making things appear out of thin air? And it was such a lovely trick too--"
She mock pouted at him as the young girl from before scurried up the steps and knocked on the door, asking timidly.
"You wanted something sir?"
Ra'kar grinned.
"I hope you don't have anything too dull in mind, I like my drinks potent and full of firey kick."

Kain snickered at the playful jest,
" I normally try the local ale. I find that you can get a taste of a country by the taste of their common brew. You don't have to take my choice, but you are more than welcome to order for yourself. I wouldn't assume to know your taste, afterall, we've only just met."
The Devil was never prone to ordering drinks to others, feminine wiles were just one of those things he was wiley about.
"Just a pitcher of your local ale...for now and whatever the lady's having"
...he could at least pay...

She grinned as she replied to the little girl on the other side of the door.
"I'll have some of the same please dear."
As the little girl scurried away, she turned her attentions back to Kain.
"Sounds like a sound theory to me. Besides, if this country establishment has a weak brew to offer, I have some flasks in my saddlebags that will remedy our situation a little later."
She scooches a little closer so that she inquire a little more intimately.
"Now, why don't you tell me about yourself Kain... I haven't tasted a devil of your kind in these parts before. We gets some strange ones from time to time... for example, Sierra's fiancee... he's an interesting character.... sometimes. He's much like she is.... It can get irritating, their boring sensabilities that is..."

Sierra was engaged...and with one of his kind-well...not HIS kind, what self-loathing Devil would want to marry an elf? It was obviously beyond Kain. He had seen some strange things in his time so...he surmised that a Devil and an Elf wedding was just another thing he could go on without knowing the details.
"Well, in my...existence...I've been damned, stabbed, poisioned, hung, and burned. I suppose the Gods weren'tt too impressed with my behaviour, not much has changed except that I fight under a different banner this time."
He rolled words around in his mind, and tales too. Carefully choosing his stories.
"I'm a student of Science, Mathematics, and ... to various beverages. Battle and blood are my hobbies. The rest...I'm sure you'll figure out"

The little girl hurries back to the bathhouse and slips a large pitcher inside the door, along with two mugs on a tray.
"There you go sir, m'lady..."
She quickly skitters off before they can reply.
"Something tells me she's a little afraid of us"
She couldn't help but laugh, her eyes falling on the tray and she looks back to him with a wink.
"Smart girl... now. Who's getting out to get those?"

Like it was a big deal...
"I'm on it."
Out of the tub for Kain. He pushed himself out of the water and easily stepped over teh wall of the bath. The water ran along his chisled mass while he made his way to the beverages. He collected them, turned and then climbed back into the heated mini-pool.
"Ahhhh, one of the finer things in life."
Kain poured both of them a drink, handed one to Ra'kar and kept the other for himself, of course.

The demoness grinned ear to ear, her eyes lit up with a mischevious glow as she flashed friendly fangs at him. His comfortability with his own form was equal to her own apparently. A most atrractive trait. She -could- have gone and got them herself but hell... he was working for them right? And why get out of this divine warmth and pass up a pleasing show if she didn't have to?
"Good form, good form my friend..."
Her now drenched hair was sticking to her like a darkened second skin. Brushing it back, she winks at him as she leans forward to take the drink, her curvacious body presenting a half obscured vision of bountiful breast and finely toned tummy before leaning back again.
Raising the tankard to her lips she tilts her head back and takes a long sip. Lowering the mug she nods her approval.
"Not bad... it's definitely not the worst brew I've had. Your judgement sir?"
