Is an excellent game. I pretty much use only Albel, Fayt and Cliff. I've beaten it two times from begining to the end ( Made the horrible mistake of playing on earth mode and not collecting battle trophies... sweatdrop )

Man... Not to be mean or anything, but if you're having that much trouble just beating one boss, then you're gonna have a hard time later on in the game. There are loads of bosses to come and those nasty Executioners can really get on your nerves if you're at a low level. I suggest you get up to level 45 before you leave Moonbase. There's gonna be a hell lot of fighting to come, so you'd better stock up on items too.

Yeah.... But now I don't have to worry about that!

I had about 40ish hours and now I don't. My sister tripped on a cord while I was saving, but I still have the corrupted file! But I can't load my battle trophies off it, so I'm on earth mode, to speed through it! And what an idiot I feel like, the speeding through is good, but the easiness sucks. They all do 0 Hp! One time they did 17 though.

Heavens Scythe
I had a little trouble with that Proclaimer in Moonbase. Let's just say I didn't really synthesize my weapons and armor in the beginning. sweatdrop When that stupid Proclaimer spun aroud, I took massive amounts of damage. There's no way you can get out of that attack unless you turn tail and run out of the circle or have the No Guard skill equipped. Damn Proclaimer. stressed

Back on the old file, I beat it pretty easily! It's weak to wind, so Albel's Air Slash is awesome, it keeps out of the range of those b*****d proclaimers, but facing two of them was really hard.

Did anybody notice how much stuff in Star Ocean is based off of Star Trek? The way the planets were named (naming the star and then giving the planets a number based on their location to the star) and the warp factors were a few I noticed, any more?

Played Star Ocean 3 ('Til the End of Time) and I was very disappointed in the game. I played Star Ocean 2 and that was a very, very good game. I loved it. I was hoping SO3 would be just as good if not better. Maybe if I played SO3 without playing SO2, I could have probably enjoy SO3 some.

The battle controls needed to be tighter. ToS is a very good example of tight battle controls. At least, in ToS, I could actually hit the enemies 90% of the time. In SO3, you couldn't hit the enemies as much as you wanted. I admited at least the cpu handled the other chars well, but I felt more like support because I had to heal them alot.

The item creation needed more work. I didn't like how in certain areas if you went just a little too far, the enemies were 5x-10x stronger. Like having level 20s enemies in one area and if you crossed a bridge, it seems like enemies are in the level 50s. Also, the people never really told you where you needed to go. They may tell you the name of the place, but not really any help in what way to go.

To me, I thought the first disc was a waste of time. When that major event happened with Fate (when he got hit with the light/beam whatever), I thought that was very important, but the game kind of just left it there like, "OMG! Fate, are you ok? How is the weather? Wanna go play some soccer?" The voice acting wasn't all that great, either. =/

These are the problems that stuck out to me the most. This game seems more like a Love/Hate game. Either people love it or people don't.

I found it very enjoyable but I detest comparing Star Ocean to Xenosaga. Star Ocean 3's plot is only so deep that anyone playing the game could understand it and accept it. Xenosaga tends to leave some people behind.

For a solid adventure and some real challenges Star Ocean is really a worthwhile buy, at least.

Shion, Albedo, Margulis and Ziggy were in it. xD

I suppose the VAing wasn't that great for many of the other characters. And it ran rather slowly. I blame the script. And whoever was sequencing it. Did you notice the big gaps between sentences? x_x

But Vox, Kingdude, Albel and Nel were fine. Cliff seemed okay, too.

I like the game. It's not the greatest, but it's certainly fun.

Crispin Freeman is f00kin' everywhere, mang...like whoa. And Mona Marshall! I'm pretty sure he/she did Roger! Cuz I recognize the voice from Digimon and Brave Fencer Musashi...

I started playing SO:TTEOT, and honestly... I just didn't like it. The characters weren't interesting, and the story just wasn't very gripping to me at all. *shrugs* It really is a love/hate game, where you either love it or hate it... and I don't like it. >_< I'm sure that it gets better as you keep going but... I just can't force myself to pick up the controller to play it more. sweatdrop

I loved Star Ocean but too much took place on Elicoor 2, if it had more worlds and Disk 1 wasnt completyly on elicoor 2 I t would have been my favorite game ever.

I started it but I found it to be somewhat boring. I didn't like the battle system very much.
