Looking around himself Quintilius felt sadden by the lack of guests, "Joie, didn't Guy and Percy say they had sent invites to all they could locate?" "Milord they did, if you are sadden would you like me to have them go out once more?" "No, no, its okay, it would have been nice although if more people had attened, but then again there is still time and my wine casks are not nearly so empty as they should be nor will be."

He hadn't recieved an invite. It had only been twenty minutes before that Mordrid lifted the window open and climbed out from his room in the men's lodgings. Anything had been better than staying there, but ipon arrival the treat that greated his eyes was certainly worth it. There were two familiar faces, as well as a girl he knew was part of the clan. He couldn't make out the others.

Fortune upon taking Mordrid name announced him to all assembled, which was few so far. Making his way across the hall he met with Mordrid, "I bid you welcome, as host of this fete, I de Marquis Quintilius de Montreve offer what I can, if it is wine you desire or something else then ask and I shall see what I can do."

"Wine would be appreciated. I must ask, who are you? Never have I heard that name before, though the man that led me in obviously must have known mine." Anyone that was a complete stranger to him instantly put him on guard.

She got an invite once she headed back to the Court or Morgan Lefaye. Though her eyes showed excitement, her face had a dead stare at the single piece of paper. She wasn't feeling that well, but she came anyway. Feena, on the other hand, decided not to go, since she is a phantom thief, she doesn't like too much company. Sakura had a different outfit on than the one she was wearing at the court. She had her hair up in two ponytails, some bells tied in her hair, silver bells. She had a simular french maids dress but the dress was black and lavender. Lavender to represent her enchanting side and black to represent her dead side, since she is part angel after all. She was carrying a violin behind her, incase if she wanted to play the violin for the guests.

"I am the Marquis," Taking a glass of wine from a tray he offered it to him, "but that probably means nothing to you. My fate was held up in the hand of the gods and cast adrift and this is where fortune has landed me, as for why Fortune knew your name, because he asked around." Holding a hand as if to tell a secret, "Where I came from I delt with knowlege, all knowlege is worth knowing." Departing from him he went over to Sakura after her announcement, bowing low he took her hand and kissed her knuckle, "You do me honor by dressing in a manor of home, even if of common garb, you do me honor none the less and more so for your heavenly beauty." Spying the violin, "You play?"

He asked around and found out so quickly? A disturbing thought for Mordris. But he walked up to the two of them interested. Sakura was indeed beautiful, and if the violin was there for more than decoration it would be good to hear some music. "I don't belive I've had the pleasure of meeting you." he bowed "Mordrid LaFaye."

She has never been spoke to so formally, so she didn't know what to say, she had a nevous smile plastered on her face as she took her hand back lightly. Her sweet lavender eyes noticed that he noticed her voilin, well, actually it was Feena's voilin, so Sakura borrowed it for the evening.
"Yes, i do." she said as she tightened her grip on the velvet straps of ehr violin case. Her eyes filling up with memories when she and Feena use to play together back in the days when she lived in heaven. But those days were long gone after she was exiled for an act she did not commit. In fact, many angels in heaven didn't like her because she was part shadowmancer.
"I don't believe i caught your name?" she said with a cat-like smile, tilting her head slightly causing her hair to rest to the other side of her shoulders.
"Nice to meet you Mordrid Lefaye" she said as she looked at the other man. Maybe he is related to Morgan?

"Then my apologies Milady Sakura, I am Quintilius de Montreve." His eyes sparkled with a giddiness brought on not just from wine but also from new company, at last he has a place in which he could escape from that inferno court that labled him as nothing more then an inncolent whelp leading a life of decadence. Here while he would still live in decadence he could at least ignore ideas of the court and freely follow the path of his making. In the last world he had been failing as a merchant, now was his chance to take it up again. "If you would be so kind as to play for us, I'm sure I can grant something in return and if I have nothing of value to match what is given then you may make what ever claim upon me, be it my soul or anything else."

"I have not gotten a chance to introduce myself to everyone else here, as I just arrived this night. But I was wondering if you know Morgan by any chance." She seemed like someone Morgan would have talked to before, and it was clear that she had some magic in her.

"Yes i know Morgan, i stay in the same school she and i will be teaching in" Sakura said as she placed some stray strands of lavender hair behind her ears, just to get her hair ouot of her lavender eyes that always give warmth to the cold. She switched her gaze upon Quintilius de Montreve. He reminded her of Mary Magdalene, a saint that Sakura called her 'mother.' Since her real mother abandoned, she even called Sakura a monster and couldn't bare to look at Sakura. Just because she was half shadowmancer.
"Oh no! You don't have to give anything in return! I would love to play just for the fun of it!" she exclaimed with a pure smile as she pulled the voilin out of the case. You would think a violin would be made out of expensive wood, but in Sakura's case, it was made out of pure glass. You could see your own reflection casted upon it. Sakura called it the mirror beyond the looking glass.
"I think i'll play On My Own From Les Miserables" she said as she placed her bow, which was made out of glass also, and played like she was a professional playing in a spring garden in Provence. SHe played extravalent, her notes gorgeous as she brought her emotions into the song. Like she could feel the pain, the love, the hunger of disire. But Sakura was a rare type of person, she's the type that would put other's needs in front of her's. That was the selfish part of her.

Mordrid was unable to hear music, a fact he was now ashamed of. But by the look in her face, it was heartfelt. Mordrid tried to pretend that he could hear something beyond the silence. It was the first instance he could actually remeber being upset about losing the ability.
He noticed the people swimming around the man, but did not be so elegant as Pale as to assume that they were anything more than they appeared. Whores. He could respect a person that could be so forward and uncontrived as to display what he really had.

((Hey, kiddies, since Pale's literaly going roman down at her place, why don't we just say she got exhausted and went home? *pleads, gets out little begger's cup and pleads some more*))
He heard the music coming and lightly took Kia's hand. "Shall we dance?" a teasing smirk came over his face. She hadn't been there for the last time when he practically did a number of poor Ophelia when she was his dance partner. But the music was too clam for anything really wild, and he decided to go with easy this time.

Cloud had been wandering around when she spotted Wedsday and Kiasys in the crowd of people. She ran to them as fast as she could and greeted them both with a hug. "Hey you two, hope I'm not interrupting anything." She smirked and bruched a strand of hair from her face.

Indeed, Rayne finally found her way to the... party. If Pale hadn't sent out that message to her about it, she would have become a bum that stays in her room all day. 'Maybe it will be good to get out...' She thought as she snagged a drink and walked off to a comfy looking couch. Once she placed herself on it, her eyes wandered around the crowd, her trying to pick out what she knew and didn't. So many unfamiliar faces... She really hoped she would see Pale there to maybe introduce her to some of the people.. Or just someone she remembered meeting in general before her moment of absence.
