I was obsessed with anime for a long time, then I was obsessed with punk rock, then I read Paradise Kiss and I was like "Wow this combines both!" So I got obsessed with Ai Yazawa, hence leading me to Nana 3nodding

Lovexofxpunkxrock I was obsessed with anime for a long time, then I was obsessed with punk rock, then I read Paradise Kiss and I was like "Wow this combines both!" So I got obsessed with Ai Yazawa, hence leading me to Nana 3nodding What a cool way to get to Nana. biggrin I actually started to get into punk rock music and the Sex Pistols after reading Nana. It's amazing how Ai Yazawa has that effect in all her manga. Paradise Kiss leads you to fashion and design and Nana gets you into punk rock music!

I read the first chapter in Shojo Beat and after that I was completely addicted and started getting it online through scanlations. It wasn't moving fast enough for me, haha. Then I saw the movie before finding the animated series and it was love from there smile

I read the premiere issue of Cookie back in 2001. The first installment of NaNa was in it. i didn't really care for the magazine, the next NaNa i read after that was when she found out she was pregnant. I didn't buy volumes 1-12 collectively until summer of 2005 or so. i heard it was good and wanted something new to read.

I loved ParaKiss and remember seeing some people talking about how NANA was even BETTER. I decided to download scanlations and lo and behold, it really was funner. xD I've been a NANA junkie from Day 1 of getting to know it.
Now I buy all the tankoubon from Kinokuniya to get the know. Oh, and scans that some nice people post.
