"He left me Jeevita!!!" She cried almost the second her sister had stopped talking. Behind her she could feel the foal incased in it's woven prison shift but that wouldn't stop her. "He said he'd never leave me alone and he did! He left just like dad did!!!" The tears had become fresh again rolling down her already damp fur.
She had been trying, was trying, to hold everything together but everything just seemed to be slipping from her as the tides. How could people just break promises like that? How could one be so cruel to abandone you when you needed them most? Sure, she had Kohana to help her, but she didn't love him. She didn't even know if she loved Shadow all she could tell was that he hurt her deeply.

Jeevita step back for a second. She understood how that felt. Well, of course she did they were in the same family. Her mother left her when she was a foal leaving her all alone. Though, she didn't know about lunathiel until they both met up here. She gave her a caring smile. " Luna, lay down before you collaps and tell me everything. Lets go near your basket so it knows you are there."
She knew how it felt when hurt. Weak and unable to do much except fall. "Shadow left because the baskets weren't his?" She had no clue. She felt it was best to stay with her sister for now. No harm done at all. She needed someone to be there for her, and who better then her own sister.

The younger mare walked back to her basket but she wouldn't lie. She had been resting for long enough, she wanted to be her old self. Luna just wanted everything to go back to normal but she was well aware it wouldn't. Nothing ever did after something this big. Unsure of what to say she just stood there shaking her head letting the silent streams spill down her face then mingle with the rain as they journeyed to the ground.
She stood there a few moments, hurt and confused as she gazed at her child. “Was it supposed to hurt like this…?” She finally asked her voice barely audible over the waves. She let the question hang in the air as though it would be a sin to disturb it. “Love…or lust or whatever it’s called…” So she’d have more added on to her plate. It wasn’t like she could hurt much more.

Jeevita walked over to where Luna was, placing her wing over her for comfort. She gave a slight nod. "No matter what it is, Lust, or Love, it still hurts when getting rejected." It was true. Or she wouldn't have been hurt from seeing Lonato's mate. "Though, I'm sure love hurts much worse then lust when someone rips their heart out. All one can do, is accept it, and move on. There is alot of love in this world, it's just finding the right now."
She gave a smile. "Even though nothing shall ever be the same, doesn't mean it'll be for the worse." She paused and smiled. "Plus, your a mother." She said in a happy voice. She nuzzled Lunathiel, careful not to poke her with her horn. "If he truely loves you, he won't just leave. He might just be really confused and hurt right now. You both need some space."

Lunathiel could tell her sister was trying to help her but some how her words were just making everything worse. "Space huh?" She asked glancing down at her basket again. As much as it would hurt her to do this she felt it had to be done. "Then I guess...I'll give him all the space he needs..." That said, she lay into the wet sand just outside the sheltered area her basket sat.
She wasn't sure if what she was doing was right or if it would even work but it was worth a shot. If Shadow didn't want to see her then she'd stay away from him and keep her children away from him too. Maybe if she vanished from his world for a while everything would be better. If it did, then this pain in her heart would be well worth it.

Jeevita wasn't sure what else to say. She tried to cheer her up, and it seemed not to work. "You hungry? I could get you something." She asked. She knew it was slightly difficualt taking care of a basket, not that she had kids or anything. Though, Nalani was close enough to a daughter, that that's exactly what she called her.

"No..."It was a lie, she was starving but even if she had food she wouldn't be able to eat. Right now she felt horrible and she was having second thoughts already. "Jeevita...what if I hurt him more?" She pushed her muzzle under sand to get at the top of her not so skillfully sand covered basket. She could feel her foal move inside, it was awake.
She whispered a few lines of an ancient lullaby to the child hoping to put it to rest again. For a brief moment she wondered where the tune had come from but shrugged it off and faced her sister once again. "Am I...being foolish again? I don't want to make another mistake with him..."

Finally she sat down. She looked at her sister. "When you think your ready to talk to him again, then it will be the perfect time to talk to him. Perhaps when the little one is out of it's basket?" She smiled. Her sister needed someone, but not him right now. He was putting to much stress on her.
"Luna, right now you need to concentrate on yourself and that basket. Just for now. When the foal is old enough, then you worry about other things. It may sound selfish, but if you don't right now it is being selfish." She looked at her sister. Resting her wing on her again. "Right now the only one that needs you is right in front of you." She looked to the little basket that was carefully hiden away from the rain.

"How..." She paused trying to think of how to put what she wanted to say. "How can I only worry about my self and my children when so many need me?" She didn't realize there was no true answer to that question. In her mind, caring for her well being and her foals well being only was an impossable task. She worried about Shadow too much, even if he hated her now.

She smiled. " What I mean is, take care of yourself and the foal until it's ready to take care of itself. Then go and help others." She paused and looked at her sister. She looked at her with serious eyes. "Promise me you won't go and do something stupid. Stay with the baskets until it's ready."
"It worries me that your stressing so much, Lunathiel." It was true. Her sister was frightening her. "If you need help with it, just say something." She looked to the basket again and then back and Luna. Her eyes looked hopeful at Lunathiel.

"But...I don't want to stay still!" She cried jumping to her feet almost angrily. She was sick of being confined so much. Stuck to the tent or else in a three foot radius of her basket. "Jeevita I want to get to dance in the fields again! I didn't want to be a mother, not like this! It's only causing me troubles!!!" She paused as she heard a soft noise coming from the basket by her feet. The lullaby hadn't worked.
"No...I wasn't meaning I don't love you..." she said lowering her head to the basket. This was just great. She had screwed up once again. She only hoped that she'd be able to at least patch things up with her child.

Jeevita sighed. Nothing was getting through to her. " Lunathiel, for now, you don't get to do the stuff you want. No matter how much you don't want to be a mother, won't change the fact that you are. Sure it's caused problems, but they'll fix in the long run." She looked at her sister who was now standing up. her wing slightly bent in a very uncomfortable way. She folded it back to her side.
She looked to the basket then to Lunathiel. She sighed again. "Just think about it Luna."

Her head hung low letting the water drop off her loose ringlets. That wasn't what she wanted to hear. Was ther no way at all to get to be free and have a child? Yes there was responsability that played in but couldn't she be careful and still be her self? Most importently, why wasn't Jeevita giving her any answers she didn't have to think about?
"I...I just wish this was all over...or at least easier..." She muttered gaxing out into the stormy ocean waters. She focused on it like her father used to and now she understood why. Watching the water ebb and flow seemed to take her stress away a bit. "Jeevita...could...you...leave? Please? I'd like to be alone...."

She smiled and nodded. "Not everything is easy, and if you wish. If you need anything at all, you know where to find me." She stood up and looked at her sister. "Please, take care." She gave a slight bow to her. She wished this went better. Also, she wished she could answer the questions Luna asked. Though, she really didn't know. There wasn't a right answer to any of them.
Shaking her wings a bit before stepping back and spreding them. She glanced back at her sister. Her eyes had hope, and saddness in them. Hoping everything would be just fine. She didn't like this one bit, this shouldn't have happened to Lunathiel. It would have been better if it happen to her, not Luna. She nodded once again and flapped her wings really hard three times before being able to lift off the ground.
She circled the sky three times before heading towards the way she knew where Cristallin would be. She needed to talk to him. It was important, though her sister was a bit more important. She'd have to check on her in a little bit to see how things were going.
