Dont hold down the whammy bar. All of my strings snapped and cut my fingers WIDE open. There was blood, there was pain, there was anger, then there was Cherrios.

Guitar Genius 666 Dont hold down the whammy bar. All of my strings snapped and cut my fingers WIDE open. There was blood, there was pain, there was anger, then there was Cherrios. Did you pull it downwards towards the knobs or downwards towards the neck? Cause if it was towards the knobs then of course and if you're in standard E you will not be pleased.

Wow. Cool idea, but that sucks. Here's another thing not to do to an (acoustic) guitar: Tape cardboard over the soundhole to extend the fretboard. Yes, I tried this once so I could play a solo riff. It didn't do anything to the guitar (except make it a little sticky stressed ), but it was very stupid on my part.
