The controls just need to be tweaked up a little. Turning was somewhat a b***h and the rails for speed characters were near impossible for me to get on :/ But on the build your own track mode? No. That would fail. The eggman robots weren't bad. They could've added like, one or two more, but I say that did enough for the game. But some of the maps were to blinding. :/ They could've darkened the SUN IN YOUR EYE maps a bit.
