Shouting in the pitch dark night, rain pelting down on her already saturated hair, Nomia wouldn't let her sister get the last word in, nor would she let her break her down. "If he likes you so much, why didn't he tell me when we were hugging?! He held me like no other boy ever has!" She didn't know it was because she'd reminded him of her sister. She didn't even know he knew her sister till this night. Hell, she wasn't even speaking whole truths. She just wanted to get at her sister the best way she knew how.
"He LOVES me!!" She believed this, because he didn't say contrary when she'd clung to him when she thanked him. There was no way she misread him... "I didn't have to use my powers to make him love me!" she yelled, angry that Kethara would accuse her of such, considering the trouble her powers gets her in. "How DARE you say such a thing!" by this time, her voice was just as angry and hurtful. Tears were yet to fall, because she was too angry to be hurt. "At least my power isn't useless!" she struck back, with only the aim to hurt.
Another flash of lightning would show the soggy, shadowed figure of Nomia lunging forwards towards another soggy shadowed figure.

Kethara didn't really have a chance to step out of the way. Feeling Nomia smack into her all she could do was fall backwards. Screaming her face twisted as she kicked at Nomia attempting to get free "My powers are not useless, least I don't have to use them to steal another person love, or get one for that matter." she pushes at Nomia as she tries to get her up off of her.
Forget being sisters, Nomia in her eyes broke trust. She stole from her, even if she didn't know. She didn't think she could forgive for that. Growling she swung one of her arms in hope to make contact. If Nomia was going to fight dirty so would she.

Shouting on the wind... unintelligible... the noise startled him, and the flash of lightning that had illuminated Nomia's lunging showed him barreling towards the bridge, the women were close, but he didn't know who they were, and at this point, it woudn't have mattered.
Another flash of lightning illuminated the two girls fighting, and Locien's eyes grew more wild.
They're fighting over which one gets to kill you.... The inner chorus cackled to him, and he shuddered but kept running towards them.
For a moment his body froze with fear, but then the terror of KNOWING, KNOWING that someone, something was chasing him still drove him to move forewards... But the two bodies fighting in front of him balked him.
He snapped, his brain blanking out of all reason and giving in to pure terror.
A bright flash of lightning showed him jumping towards Nomia, his arms sliding around her neck and pulling tight, as he bellowed a warcry.

A streak of lightening flashed exposing the muddy hybrid to anyone within eyeshot. 'She' looked cold and tired, weary from everything that had happened this night. In 'her' hand 'she' clutched the mellon still; it was limp and cold and near death, but rather ignored by the larger pae. Bran and Wen wished in consensus that they still had their umbrella; it was long forgotten when the chase started. A nice hot cup of tea would be manditory once the fusion returned to 'her' temple home and could sit by the fire. One could only hope the rain would end soon, as Branwen shivered, the coldness seeping into 'her' very bones.

Diana ran through the rain, she knew a mellon was hurt and it was her duty to find it and help it. She sang a small, frantic-sounding song as she ran, to call the mellon.
The rain was awful and there was no light source, except the streaks of lightening here and there. In a flash she saw an adult pae, holding a mellon, the hurt mellon. "Hey, what are you doing to that mellon?" Diana would never have guessed that a pae would do a mellon harm!

"What is that little shrimp complaining about?" the demon asked her sister watching the odd little pae run toward her. "I really don't feel like a fight." As Diana approached, Wen could tell that it was about the little glowy bug she had given Bran. "Now Bran just shut up and let me handle this. She wants the bug; I'll find you a new pet.
The angel frowned; she had an arm ouchie and now her little shiny was going away. "Fine. Don't talk to me," she responded, sulking.
The little mellon, hearing the call from his guardian, flickered and struggled. Doing something he would regret at any other venture, he sunk his teeth into the large purple thumb before writhing free from the now flailing hybrid and falling into the wet swampy grass.
"OUCH! THE SHINY BIT ME" The angel cried; tonight just hated her.

Diana's normally happy-childish grin was completely gone. She was getting very angry at this pae. "You let go this instant!" Diana was usually more chilish in every way, but not when mellons or famaliars were in trouble.
She watched as the mellon bit the pae and then ran over and picked him up. He was near death and was going to take alot of healing. The other mellons around her were flying about angrily around BranWen, they wouldn't do anything without Diana's say of course.
"I can't believe a pae would hurt a mellon." Diana was close to trying to clobber the much bigger pae. Her right fist was clenched as she held the mellon gently with the left.

"Don't blow a gasket kid! I'm the one who saved the little biter." Wen smirked, happy to be able to twist this to her bidding. The demon was sure her other half would remain sulking and silent; it was a welcome silence, allowing Wen to take full control of this situation. "I saw some teen fae boy abusing the thing and when I yelled to him he dropped it and ran. I've been carrying around for sooooo long trying to find it some help." A sniffle was added to help seal the deal. Man, she was good. "He was green as far as I could tell by the darkness. You should get your revenge on him."
Wen smirked; if she could get this little chick out of the way and get rid of that little bug all at once, she'd be free to find that intruder. By the way he ran she was now positive he was one of the targets Strafe had spoken of; who else would run for their lives after listening to death commands.

Diana shook with anger. "A green fae?" She would look for this green fae. The mellon had passed out and was no good at informing her, so she took the pae in front of her's word.
"Thanks, for saving this little guy, he's in debt to you." She stroked the mellon and sang a small healing song, she would need a lot more time to get him to fully recover though.
Diana shook rain from her face, "I'm off to find him." Diana started to run, mud making her feet slughish and almost tripping her from time to time.
She got to the bridge and through flashes of lightening she saw three paes fighting. She pulled the mellon close to her, as it was violent and she didn't want him to wake up and see such horribleness. She was sure one of the paes was the one who hurt him and wanted to confront him....but the other two...what was going on?

As the storm subsides, calming to a dull drizzle, the area around Waplei Ri Marsh is calm, perhaps a bit too calm. Guardian Iris, on her way to her errands, decided to check the area to make sure nothing had been damaged in the storm.
“Oh my!” She gasped as she fluttered down to a white body of a Pae’il, completely void of color. “Oh dear… This is terrible!” Flitting a bit away, she asks several of the nearby Faeries to take the body to the Falassion Healing House, to see if it can be saved.
“I can’t solve this alone!” Iris says to herself and writes up a note.
Quote: Attention: All Pae'il are hereby notified to be on alert. A terrible incident has occured at the Waplei Ri Marsh and we need to find out what happened! A body was found, face down in the mud and taken to the Fallassian Healing House. We do not know if the pae is dead or alive, but we hope for the best! We must do all we can to make sure this pae'il is okay, and foul play was not the culprit!(( Note fixed for clarity ))

OOC: I'll be the first. Hahahaha!
BIC: Raken moved down towards the marsh, having come out with the storms dissipation to see the damage done to the island. Mainly to take note of any detours he would now have to make. There he had seen the bustle of fae. Fae...he frowned and continued on. Dyas rode ontop of her fathers head, deathly silent as ever as she looked about. The girl blinked suddenly and tugged rakens hair, pointing to a little note stuck on a tree. "What is it dyas?" He frowned and followed her little pointer, gaze lighting on the note. slowly he walked to it, and began to read. "A body to the healing house? What...exactly happened here?"

Saffron sighed, growing more and more worried. He hadn't seen Devyn since that day on the beach and he was seriously concerned about the boy's well-being. Who knew what could have happened to him? That note he'd found on the tree some time ago hadn't helped to ease his fears either. He prayed to the Guardians with all his strength that Devyn hadn't been that poor Pae'il...
Clenching his fist, Saffron let out a harsh noise of frustration and just barely caught himself before he sent said fist into the nearest tree trunk. How could he lose his own son?!?
He paused. His son. Despite all that had happened...despite the conditions under which he'd wound up with the boy...he still considered Devyn his son. It was the first time he'd consciously realized the change that had occurred in himself. He hadn't thought he was ready for such a responsibility, but...
...perhaps the Guardians knew what they were doing afterall.
He only hoped they did now...
"Devyn! DEVYN! Where are you? If you can hear me, say something please!" The mixed angel continued on his slow trek through the marsh, keeping his eyes sharp for anything unusual or any signs that his son had been through the area recently. He did have a tendency to linger in strange areas of the island...

Aoaka walked through the marsh, looking first one way and then the other, picking his way carefully through the wreckage the storm had left behind. He thought briefly on how he'd come to be included in the search for what had happened to the unknown Pae...
He'd been in the Healing House, waiting out the storm, as it had started whipping the water in the lake too much to stay in his cave, especially with Debi. So, pulling a blanket over the little one's head, he had run to the House for shelter, making it there safely, if not dry. Of course, water had never harmed a Naiad before, though he'd been worried about the lightning.
Once in the House, dried off, and Debi was comforted and falling asleep, he'd dozed until the storm was over, until the sound of Pae hurrying about had caused him to wake up. He'd seen them bring the Pae in, and his stomach dropped to his feet. The storm had done this? He'd heard speculation about foul play, and that made him go cold. If someone had done this... he shivered.
He glanced down at Debi and thought of what Elder Hi had told him. Would she grow up in a world where one Pae could do this to another? Not if he could help it. He hoped it had just been the storm, bad as that was by itself.
He'd left Debi in the Healing House's care, since she was asleep, and made his way back down the beach to the marsh.
Which is where he was now, and not having a good time of it. He made his way past several fallen trees, half sunken in the soggy mud of the marsh. His feet sunk in more often than not, and his hair was a damp mess that kept falling into his face. Worse yet, he wasn't sure where to start.
"Maybe I should look at the place where they found the Pae... if I can find it. It shouldn't be too far ahead... I hope," he said to himself. Slogging forward again, he perked his ears as he thought he heard someone yelling in the distance. A name? He raised his eyes, but in the murk, he couldn't see far enough to tell where the voice was coming from.
"Hello?" he called, wondering if it was someone else searching for what had happened.

Junior stumbled through the tree to get to the marsh. He had heard that a pae had been taken to the healing house, and none knew of the condition said pae was in. "I hope Seraphim didn't do this..." He mumbled to himself, pulling his feet out of the mud with great effort. The only reason that he was in such a hurry to get there, was because he had left Ducky with four children and Yukio.
Starry was right behind her son, she might not have known the injured pae but she was still concerned for it. Once Junior had barged into the hq demanded that she come with him, Starry had known something was wrong. "If he did, we are all in for harsh times." She replied, nearly falling in the mud trying to keep up with her son. He was going very fast, and in the mud no less.

Jazz figured as an elder she should find out what was going on, plus try and help anyone that needed it. She was there for them, that was her duty. Okay, she was the elder of enteretainment, but still and elder.
She found herself going where everyone else was. She smiled and waved to any that could see her. "What shall we do?"
